Re: Will the price be stable?
by
ccabz
on 13/03/2018, 13:05:02 UTC
I remembered watching a video about bitcoins and the simple information that a beginner can understand. It says that bitcoin only has the maximum of 21 million bitcoins and 17 or 18 million has been mined.

What would happen if the very last block were mined? Will the value of bitcoin finally be stabilized?

----------

I think will not be the same or stable. It will still undergo a roller coaster effect, sometimes it will go up and sometimes it will go down. But one thing is for sure, Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin will never die. Cheesy

How to Explain Bitcoin to a 7-Year-Old
Quote
I’ve been explaining how Bitcoins work since 2010. Here is the simplest analogy I’ve discovered that explains transactions, anonymity, and coin production.

There’s a room that anyone can access. The room has security cameras that anyone can view, and every second of recorded footage is available online forever.

The room is filled with indestructible piggy banks made of transparent plastic. Naturally, these piggy banks have coin slots, and everyone can see which coins are in which piggy bank. These piggy banks can never leave the room.

Each person has a key that can open their piggy bank. Let’s say I want to buy a pair of alpaca socks, and you want to sell them.

First, you tell me which piggy bank is yours. Then, I walk into the room with a ski mask on. Anyone in the world can see me on the security cameras, but not my face.

Next, I unlock my piggy bank, take some coins out, then put them into your locked piggy bank. I leave the room.

Now, everyone in the world knows that your piggy bank has coins that were previously in my piggy bank. This is the case with every transaction, so everyone knows the history of every coin.

“So where do the coins come from? How did it start? Who got the first coins?”

There’s a robot in the room that runs lotteries. Every so often, this robot randomly chooses a piggy bank in the room, and puts 50 coins in it. When it first started, there weren’t many piggy banks in the room since nobody knew about it. Back then, it was easy to win the lottery. Today, there are millions of piggy banks in the room, so your odds aren’t very good.

“Ok, couldn’t someone make their own fake coins?”

No, because everyone has records of every coin in the room, and they know when the robot hands new coins out. If a fraud were to put fake coins into his own piggy bank, everyone would know that those coins were never handed out by the robot, and wouldn’t accept them.

“Who made the robot..?”

Supposedly it was a super genius Japanese man named Satoshi Nakamoto, but nobody knows for certain. Since the security camera footage is available from 2009, we can see that the robot was putting coins into a piggy bank since day 1. We assume it’s Satoshi, but that’s about all we know.

“… Crazy.”

Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?
by

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

I really like this idea which is to advertise bitcoin through television and radio stations.  These can really boost up the popularity of bitcoin and other Altcoins.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

Probably,  if people no longer believe in cryptocurrency or bitcoin and no one would invest to bitcoin.   Sad

As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018

In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.

Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future.

Investing through bitcoin in long term is highly at risk.  However,  if you have the knowledge and expertise on how  to play in the Market,  you cam definitely gain profit and enjoy bitcoin.

Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC?

We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??

================

There are actually lots of disadvantages of when it comes to Cryptocurrency Market and that includes Bitcoin currency. But what I can really think of is Security Issues and prone to Theft. Lots of exposures through this market is potential to scams and fraud. You also don't have an assurance that your investment will increase or you can even lose a profit if the market is not going well. However, if you have the perseverance to proceed and continue for a long term investment, this is actually a good option for you!  Cheesy Cheesy CheesyBTCBTCBTC

Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagiagain.  Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
= = =

If this scenario will happen though we are hopping that it will not,  there will still be a dominoe effect if bitcoin dies.  However,  other altcoins will rise again and is stable enough to fix any problem cause by the downfall of bitcoin

Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years?
by
ccabz
on 13/02/2018, 16:51:23 UTC
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much

==============

I am positive that the value of All Altcoins, specially Bitcoin will increase to 3 time or even 5 times than today. It is just like from the start of Bitcoin is cost less but right now it is now in high value. Surely, 5 years from now, it will also have the same effect and it will definitely increase.

Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

============

Same here. I will invest more on Bitcoin and other Altcoins that are for long term. I also have plans in using my other investment with local business like a resto bar or a business that is related to food. Smiley

Re: What seems to be bitcoin's downfall?
by

on 12/02/2018, 06:10:50 UTC
As you can see bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has crashed down, what are your insights and opinion about this

= = = = =

I would say that it is not really downfall,  but it is just part of the process,  because if you check the history with its graph,  there are times that it will rise and sometimes it
will fall.  But normally,  if it falls,  there are negative feedbacks or news in social media or main stream media that are not in favor of bitcoin or cryptocurrency market.

Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ?
by
ccabz
on 11/02/2018, 02:00:08 UTC
Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?

I am afraid that is not true..  One of the reason why bitcoin decreases its value because there are people who always talk negative about cryptocurrency because it can really affect business of other business man who are not in favor of cryptocurrency.  But then again, decreasing the value of bitcoin and other altcoin is just part of the process,  along the way Bitcoin and other Altcoins will increase.   Cool   Cool   Cool

Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin?
by
ccabz
on 10/02/2018, 01:45:27 UTC
Bitcoin has been impressive in a lot of ways since it's beginning but the one thing that blew me out the most was the ideology. A foolproof peer to peer online transaction system based on blockchain technology was just a beautiful set of works executed and implemented by Satoshi and no wonder it has already made its mark in every field it is being used in.

I believe we all agree that bitcoin is really a big help when it comes efficiency and cashless transactions. These are just part or features of having a blockchain process and technology which I am truly impressed.
