We are building platform for users to let them easily get into mining business. Big players dont have this problem, a lot of big companies are building their own mining datacenters even those who are not involved into cryptocurrency operations. They do this just to diversify their investments. With Hashmart - cloud mining provider this opportunity is available to common people.
OK, then maybe how about mid-sized players? To be honest I'm sure that even big players don't think about building their own datacenter, investing is not about business. It's usually just about buying securities, or buying money-tokens aka ETH or BTC, or a share of the mining from a network - aka Hashmart.

I think that you are underrating the utility of your service for large investors. F.e., someone investing for a family office might find it much easier to use your service instead of setting up a mining operation. In the USA alone, there are 6000 family offices.

Stupid question here: Do US residents have to pay taxes on the prizes won, or for that matter if we sell the monsters for profit? I guess I should ask my CPA but I don't really feel like having to explain everything that would entail.

This is actually one of the main reasons I invest in ICO's haha
