this is the best time to invest, because some of the coins I see dikripto market are very cheap, but you have to be careful and see market movements, so you don't lose a lot of money.

Being careful is always good. Yes, we need to choose coins very carefully so that all the times will be the good time to invest. When we are choosing coin after some big the researches and analysis then the chances of getting disappointment later-on will be very less. Only those people who are lazy for not doing their research and analysis will be finding their hard time by losing their capital.

What kind of PR methods are successful in a crypto project ? and what attracts you? For example, digital marketing platforms like twitter, facebook or airdrops or bounties. What is your opinion ?

Whatever promotion methods you will be following, when your project is not having a good concept then you will not able to find success with it. I agree promotions are important but a new innovative concept like what solution you are going to provide for a problem, is more important than anything else for the success of a crypto project.

As i'm hearing things like that the asian countries has much more liberal approach than european countries i think more often about moving out to one of these countries. In future there can be possibility that these countries will be richer than Germany, France or UK, only china could be richer than USA today but in future who knows.

That is very good for Philipines that government is open for technological news.
Philippines is aired offering to exchange anything with bitcoins or cryptocurrencies. There's many platforms there who give relief to crypt currencies users. Crypt ATMs are also include.Atm machines are build there.

Yeah, the crypto market is not in a good condition right now. But we know that it can change any time, surprisingly. I believe the price of crypto will rise at the end of this year, so it will be better if we hold our assets and don't sell them now. And yeah, we just have to wait for it.
As it is always been, holding is the key in the crypto world. The more you hold, the better are the chances that coin move from the bearish to the bullish state.

If you are a genuine user of bitcoin and its blockchain technology, you won't effectively abandon your investments. You may continue holding your coins even though of the specific unstable  volatile market.

Re: The pain of holding bitcoin in 2017.
by
centimentalking
on 27/10/2018, 06:52:51 UTC
This year 2017 has not been favourable to those that buy bitcoin in 2017, ended and are still holding.  Bitcoin is in a state that we have not expect as many investors and speculators were saying bitcoin will get to over $50,000 this year.  We should still holding as selling below the amount we buy is selling out of pain and frustration.

Well unfortunately, those people have limited choices. By this time, those that probably got in because of hype had already sold their btcs and those remaining are set for the long haul. Disappointing of course, but you have to look way ahead if you don't want to lose.
I am also a holder i bought many bitcoins in 2017 thought it gives me more profit but this year really disappoint me but i still hold my coins and did not panic sell. I won't sell them even the price fall more or below 6,000.

Re: US Dollar Efect on the world and Crypto
by
centimentalking
on 27/10/2018, 05:39:53 UTC
Strengthening the US dollar creates effects on the currencies of developing countries. In addition, currency depreciation continues to cause foreign exchange reserves to erode. This has caused an increase in the amount of credit for countries that need large amounts of external spending. Some of the countries most vulnerable to the US dollar are Argentina , Sri Lanka , Turkey , and Zambia. And predictions say the US Dollar will continue to strengthen until the end of the year. Like Chile, Colombia, Indonesia and Malaysia are also vulnerable to digital currency conditions, even though these countries have financial and institutional buffer systems that are able to erase in the short term. One news that is enough to be a shock to the currencies of developing countries. Apart from this, I think this has an impact on digital currency movements which I think are slow and watch stagnant.
Increase the rate of dollars can gives more profit in bitcoins even the price of bitcoin fall but with dollars we gain some profit. Where it can disturb the economy i don't think its important for bitcoin we should focus on economy.

Re: What's your plan for the next bull-bear cycle?
by
centimentalking
on 26/10/2018, 10:49:35 UTC
so my plan is to probably sell most of my Bitcoin hopefully averaging just over $100k. ~

i have always sold as much as i needed to and will continue to do the same. i will never sell large amounts just because price is over a certain level! even if it was $10 million i would still sell as much as i needed to. because i believe in the future of bitcoin not just its price. i believe it will reach mass adoption in a sense that you would be able to spend it almost anywhere in the world in any shop so you wouldn't need to sell it!
Personally, I will sell large amounts if I have to do so, and when I see trend changing. I have never had a problem doing that, I have been a trader all my life and I am always taking advantage of the market fluctuations to keep stashing my bitcoin for the long run. At least, it is an edge to always have some knowledge to know how to play the market.

I would not be so fast in selling though, I will be looking at the reaction of the market, and when the bull run will probably start, it is likely we will get towards $200k somehow, and this is when I really want to start selling bit by bit and once I see a trend change, I just offload the rest, and wait to buy lower. Same cycle. If the whales want to play their card, I best just play with them to my own favor.
I keep my trade up with alt coins because buying bitcoin right now is to much risk. I Will buy some bitcoin when the price start increasing. Most of people prediction that it will decrease more now i am afraid to investing in bitcoins.

Re: How high do you think Bitcoin will go on the next bull run?
by
centimentalking
on 26/10/2018, 10:00:49 UTC
I think this stable period will last through a good part of next year, unless something big happens. The only thing that could cause 100k$ in next few months is approved ETF from VanEck SolidX Bitcoin Trust, and since it is physically backed with BTC, demand should go up along with the price. But it seems that the chances for that are not too big, SEC is still cautious and a positive decision would be really big surprise.

it doesn't particularly matter if the trust is physically backed with BTC. it could be backed by futures contracts that settle at USD equivalent---the price should still generally reflect the spot market due to arbitrage. this is why cash-settled futures don't deviate that much from spot.

i don't understand why ETF approval would trigger a new bull run. people keep saying that, but nobody can explain why. this is like the ghost cities in china---you can build all the houses you want, but it doesn't mean anyone wants to buy them.

this is called "putting the cart before the horse". Tongue
It doesn't matter all we want highly demand and supply. Just thought if the same situion happen next year ?. I hope next year would be great for bitcoin like 2017.

What do you think about the popularity of Cryptocurrencies around the world, do you think many people now are aware of this Technology currencies?, how much percentage would you think and how can we expose and spread this? Smiley Smiley
It doesn't totally reach in some countries and bitcoin for them is still unknown,by some parts of the world bitcoin was heard and seen on television or in the news but not totally educated by many.Knowledge is very important in cryptocurrencies and hoping that no one could ever take advantage to scam people because bitcoin is very useful if we just used it in a right way.
Like media and banks they give wrong news to there users and they sell the bitcoins which decrease the popularity if cryptocurrencies and bitcoin.

If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

This time of down market if l have$10000 I'd rather choose to invest in a business that will have a profit for my family needs.l have to secure my kids needs because l experience of having no money and my kids haven't eat.
why we did not use some of this money to bitcoin or altcoin.we know that all cryptocurrency pric down alot, so its be our advantages buying on low price.
Even stock markets and Gold can't bring such profit which cryptocurrencies can gives you. I know its risk but you have to take risk in order to gain success and want to become rich.

Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto?
by
centimentalking
on 25/10/2018, 10:07:57 UTC
More than 90% of ICOs (still a wide margin) lack pure utility aside from trading values. Among freelancers, people may trade one crypto for another, but in a brick and mortar business scenario, crypto has little to no impact. For example if I walk into a store I could get the credit card and a few other payment options. Still, with the over abundance of crypto technologies and their native tokens, only a handful of stores have barcodes for bitcoin and a few other payment coin types.

I think we need more radical real world businesses tokenizing their products and using this 'tokenization' as a means to garner support for mainstream crypto adoption. Like rewarding people loyalties for using their products.

Does anyone else here share the same concerns, or do you know a coin that is owned by real businesses for such purposes?
Aside from trading, I personally use crypto to buy prepaid loads, paying bills, investments and I think I will soon try to use it to purchase goods and services here in my country as cryptocurrency is getting bigger and bigger. I juat hope that more and more merchants will be popping up in the near future as it is more convenient to transact with crypto than the usual fiat money most especially when dealing online.

Speaking of merchants, I know a project that's paving way for more merchant adoption of cryptos. Modern Finance Chain (mfx token) will be like Dash or PundiX, only better! It wont require a bulky hardware, in fact, no hardware required at all, just the merchant's mobile phone, the platform's software and freedom of numerous  cryptos that could be used to pay for services. Whats more? Instant crypto to fiat gateway. These are features i think commerce needs.
Cryptocurrencies are volatile so it can be used in business. It would be more profitable if we start our business with the help of bitcoins and cryptocurrency. I am a business man and i start my business.

Re: bitcoin investing
by

on 25/10/2018, 07:29:28 UTC
Before you invest, you must know that BTC is full of risks, you have to be patient and keep it, I believe the value of BTC will jump and make your investment grow. you can buy it in several exchanges by depositing fiat currency and exchanging it with btc

People do need to understand that btc is highly volatile and involved huge risk. Yes higher the risk even the rewards can be greater. So one should have patience and ready to take risks then only do invest in crypto currency else if you invest and require money then you might get struck if market crashes during that time.

I never suggest you to invest your money in stock markets. They're fake and mostly people lose there money. I have experience with stock exchange and i did invest for long term but i lose my money.

Re: How to save money on a long-term period
by
centimentalking
on 25/10/2018, 06:14:07 UTC
I don't think that black metals are good for saving money in a long-term period. Their storage and security costs are too high to save near that value over time.
I think they are good materials only if you want use them in infrastructure, otherwise they will taking space in storeroom without point.
The best option for saving money for long term in my view is to invest in property, because property will never lose money and with the passage of time the value of your property will increase. If you put your money in bank, you will spend it after some time because of easy access. If you invest in crypto, it is also usable and not good for long term savings.
Saving money for long term is good but itsto much hard to save in your home. Because no one know when you need the money also we should not save our money in banks too because they applied tax when you withdraw it and apply some charges.

Re: What are the reasons why you must take risk in crypto market?
by
centimentalking
on 23/10/2018, 11:37:41 UTC
Those people who take risks do so in most cases only to make a quick profit. In the crypto-currency market, you can improve your material and financial condition gradually. The risk is not always justified, so before you take a risk you need to carefully analyze the situation.
Since the crypto market is uncertain and quick in changing, investment of course is a risky decision in the cryptocurrency. However there is no success in not taking risk to make money.

Business is all about winning and loosing and the cryptocurrencies really makes you able to earn only if you have what it takes. These days it is very easy to avoid risk by investing in bulk which pays off immensely in the long run only because short term investments are good in quick often short profits.
We should know what we are dealing with of how beneficial it can be, and how it could help not only for ourselves but also for others. This is how bitcoin works, it can bring quality of life if we are dedicated enough to do the task assigned and is open to unexpected circumstances that may come along the way. Risks are all around us but it depends on how we manage to face them positively and creatively. We must be prepared and aim for productivity. Bitcoin has a lot to offer, it's very beneficial, and profitable, so I believe that it's worth taking risk for.
we are here required to manage risk so that we have a great opportunity to profit. many strategies are implemented and everyone is different to enter market. this is because everyone has their own trading style
You can't lose anything either your earn profit or learn something. Cryptocurrencies has huge usage now days people well aware that its risky but its profitable too.

Obviously i will go for crypto market.Stock market is very slow compared to cryptocurrency market. And there is more potential in crypto market to make profit.Crypto market remains active 24/7 and it is great advantage for day traders.
Bitcoin and stock market is just like a brothers but with different features. Bitcoin has high potential of increase but still its a risky where stock hasn't enough potential but its risky too.

Re: ICO Investments Why Risky?
by
centimentalking
on 23/10/2018, 10:30:11 UTC
Basically, the crypto space is becoming way bit saturated and alot of money is coming in and going. So many people want to leverage in that by running ICO and taking up people money without any viable product. To be safe, it's advisable to invest in a project that have a product or at least a prototype.
Actually the crypto market is not so much saturated and there is still option for people to invest in any of the coins that are available in the market. However those who have limited information about such thing often fall prey to the ICO thing and majority of the ICO are not much instrumental in imparting the growth to investment which is the reason the why investment in ICO is risky.

It is not easy to find a great ICO with an advanced project unless you have the very core information about what to invest in and why keeping the market graphs in the mind.
If this happen continuously people will not only leave ICO projects but bitcoins and cryptocurrency too. Should be stopped I must say.

The market is down because obviously some people buy a lot of bitcoins from the market so things got serious. Even if right now the situation is not sky blue there are signs that the value will.grow like never before.
I think bitcoin required some patient and knowledge if you good grip with your coins you can earn more money. I know the price is drooping but bitcoins is surviving it will be up just believe in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies technology.

Re: Is there any chance of having one global currency?
by
centimentalking
on 22/10/2018, 12:13:32 UTC
I don't think it will be possible, there will certainly be many global currencies created because there will be a lot of economic developments that may in the future use digital currencies and will use both digital currencies and fiat currencies for global currencies.
I think dollars would be the global currency. When ever the dollars price increase or decrease its impact the economy. All the thing become expensive that a poor people can't afford.
