I don't know if the UI problems above were, Start button, cortana and task bar not functioning properly but..

I did multiple fresh installs of windows last weekend trying to figure this out.  After the DDU, I would usually end up with the start button not working along with cortana and some of the task bar features.  I found a solution for this.

1- Right click on start menu and click on Run. "For those who the start menu does not respond with right click, right click on taskbar - click on Task Manager - from File menu on the left upper corner select Run new task".
2-White the command regedit and click Enter.
3- Go to path [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WpnUserService].
4-Double click on Start from the right side.
5-Change the value data to 4 then OK.
6-Reboot

Now my start button, cortana and task bar work as they should.

Ended up with 1709 updated before turning off windows update. DDU and installed Beta Blockchain Aug23rd and MSI afterburner Beta 16 (maybe 19).

Maybe this will help someone else.

How to fix large hash rate fluctuation?

I have (Cool Powercolor RX 580 8g gold sample Gpu's.  I have modded the bios and running windows 10 with the Aug23 beta blockchain driver and msi for overclocking. Using (2) 1000w powersupplies.

Most of the cards will mine at approx 30.2Mhs.  However, certain cards will run 30.2, 30.3, 30.2, 30.1, 20.x and then back to the low 30's again.
I've adjusted the core clock down to about 1150 and the mclock to 2100.  The hash rate goes down but the drastic drops are still there.

Most of the cards don't have this problem.  I've tried upping the voltage to the cards that have this problem.  Do you think it could be a riser issue on these 3 cards that are giving me grief?

Thanks for any advice.

I've been waiting to hear this as well. Seems like some people say yes, install it. But I've seen a few posts now that say MSI afterburner doesn't work with the new Adrenalin driver and people are slower than using the blockchain.
