The spam epidemic has reduced but the merit epidemic has exploded
by
cinchin1
on 21/09/2018, 05:42:44 UTC
We can clearly see that spam is decreasing in significant numbers in the past few days when the new merit system appear, however, not stop there, the old disappears and new ones appear, it is a pandemic to beg merit from others. The newbie constantly creates posts to beg merit or they try to show they deserve merit while they never do it in the past.

And this is what I see:

They are very active and I understand their purpose, and such information only appears in the last few days, it's more than every day. I do not know it is good or bad for the meta but theymos should take some measures to reduce this to the lowest level

Smiley It's a sad story with my old account, now, I'm slowly coming back to this forum but I'm really surprised with the recent change of theymos, 1 merit to become Jr.Member, maybe i will need some months or even more to achieve that, haha.
If you got permabanned, why is it you're now using a new account?
Why not, I was guilty and I was punished, and now I was innocent, there is no reason for me not to return, a new account is a source for a new life, you can not continue to judge me when I'm just a newbie

Merit seems to be too hard for the newbie when they are not treated fairly

They want to stop the spamming pandemic and that is really successful but in return they create a zombie pandemic with the virus that is spreading here is merit

Re: Are you long term or short term?
by

on 05/09/2018, 12:51:35 UTC
I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.
I consider that the long-term strategy is more safe! For short-term trading you need a lot of capital and good insider information!))
Right now, why do not I see safety from long term investments, I just see the market turn red and that is continuous, it can not tend to go up for a long time, and I see people are making decisions as you, long term investment, they are really desperate. Their assets continue to show signs of instability and will likely evaporate in the next few days while for short term investors, they are smiling and feel lucky when they make the right decision, make profits every day and survive even in the red market

Re: Will the governments kill cryptocurrencies
by
cinchin1
on 02/09/2018, 14:18:14 UTC
The government, some of them are killing cryptocurrency by banning them or putting walls to their country.
but killing the crypto totally is impossible, all they can control is the ICO from their countries but after that, they can't do anything but to hold their citizen in having crypto.
this is the reality, crypto will have developed and will go rise even they don't like it.
I never even thought that they ban just because they wanted to kill the crypto, what they wanted to focus on was probably to limit the scope and impact of crypto on their country, they do not want crypto to penetrate deeply into the world of people when they do not control it. Governments are always the first people who want to benefit from crypto, they will not easily kill it but they will not show it, they will always show a face the opposite as other countries are doing, and exploit the benefit of crypto in secret

yes why not, honestly I am from crypto already get a lot of money. Crypto makes my life change. You can follow me by working on the bounty
Well, crypto has changed the face of many people's finances and helped them change lives, your story is similar but all is rooted in the past, everything with crypto is still very easy, from investing to making money through bounty. However, that time has not come back, as you can see, bounty or any work with crypto, the competition is always great and the risk is not small, richness with crypto has become a dream story, it is no longer practical

Re: The Future of Bitcoin is the Community not the Government
by

on 02/09/2018, 13:45:11 UTC
Yes, you are right, because bitcoin is independent and successful it is we who do it, the people who invest in it, thereby recognizing it.
Sure, we are the ones who contribute the most to the future of bitcoin because we support, spread and actively invest in it, and with what we have put into it, if it is not developed, that would be a very strange thing. The community is all in bitcoin, the government does not make sense in this story, they are just people who want to fight back and eliminate bitcoin, the future of bitcoin can not depend on them, the future of bitcoin needs community

Re: Will Dogecoin have a future?
by

on 01/09/2018, 10:52:48 UTC
Dogecoin will have a future for sure , you will regret that you do not invest in DOGE earlier,  Cool. Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as an inexpensive medium of exchange.

It may be a cheap and fast coin, but there are other altcoins with better features these days. Maybe I'm missing something here, but by the looks of it, DOGE won't go far because it is dead in development.

I'd be surprised to see Dogecoin alive after a few years from now. It'll be the most obsolete cryptocurrency in existence, but functional if it continues its current trend. Cheesy
It is alive because the person in the dark wants him to live and I'm not really surprised at that, dogecoin has been a solid crypto since the early stages of the market, regardless of whether it faces severe winds or storms, it can fall into the deep pit but it never dies. It always receives the right resources and maintains life, although it has no potential but every year, it is pumped very regularly, perhaps it will survive a long time until the market collapses

Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency?
by

on 01/09/2018, 10:36:31 UTC
It is difficult to predict the future changes in the market, therefore, the smartest way to invest in digital assets is to build a well-diversified portfolio based on your risk preference and investment goals. Such a portfolio would likely include a substantial holding in bitcoin and small exposure to promising ICO tokens. I have found a trustworthy ICO project. It is called Socratus.  It is an insurance ecosystem which provides a digital platform for insurance companies. So any insurance company can connect the platform to become the part of Insurance Digital Ecosystem. Their main aim is to create a win-win insurance whereby you get instant claim payment,  fair and transparent dealing and friendly prices. They are also helping insurance companies to reduce costs (it can be reduced from 15 to 25 %) and get their business on a new level. Also, they are powered by Smart-contracts & Socratus Oracles. It means that there is no more solo human decisions to pay or not to pay, no more lingering manual claims handling procedures.
this is very good and very structured, I really agree with the opinion you say that predicting future market changes is very difficult all possibilities can occur, including Ethereum beating Bitcoin dominance in the future  Cheesy
Personally, I think if bitcoin is defeated by another crypto, the collapse of the market is probably the end result that we will get because most people always consider bitcoin to be the center of all the stories around the crypto, it accounts for most of the market capitalization. And when bitcoin happens problem or it loses its position in the market, the confidence of investors to the market would disappear, they will fall out of this place to find better land

Re: Is now a good time to store some Bitcoins?
by
cinchin1
on 01/09/2018, 10:19:56 UTC
It is really a good time to store some bitcoins because we can get as much as we want because the price is now cheaper and more affordable than before and that means that the chance of making profit is also high because when the market goes up again then it is automatically providing profit for us because we bought from the cheap price or bottom and we are going to sell it high.
The offer is very reasonable, the price of bitcoin seems to have been blocked by an invisible force, it can not fall lower and as an investor, we need to be wiser to recognize that and accumulate some bitcoin. The taste of the recovery is coming closer than ever in the last months of the year, buying and more patience, we will reach the desired profit and end up in a happy year, not as painful as it was months ago

Re: Everyone loses money when the market is down right?
by
cinchin1
on 30/08/2018, 13:52:05 UTC
Not everyone but maybe 70% to 85% of all the investors and holders. Why I said that because there are many professional traders and brokers around and they might have read the outcome of cryptocurrencies this year and sold all of their coins before the crash happened. They might also lost some but I'm sure that their gains still dominates.
Bear market is always an opportunity for professional traders who simply have the swing strategy style of trading. It may be a bit hard for day traders to trade a volatile bear market which is why so many day traders rather prefer to stay clear the market during some periods than trying to trade the market at that point in time.
The bad thing however, is that a lot of people in the space trade with little or no knowledge, and for a bear market, that would be the worst for them to ever trade.

Most of the people really lose their money when the market is down. You can easily avoid these losses if you stop trading for some time, hold your cryptos and wait.
Of course, this is the plan of the big men, everyone loses money and they will be the people who take the money that people lose, stop trading or holding crypto still can not avoid the loss, losses always exist regardless of whether it is less or more. But this situation is not too bad, if we know the whale's plans, we can turn the disadvantages into advantages, use this opportunity to make more money according to different strategies

Re: Crypro will make people smarter?
by

on 30/08/2018, 13:34:16 UTC
I do not think that a crypto currency will make people smarter. Using crypto currency is not very difficult, so people with any mental abilities can do it.
But the areas around crypto require us to have a good knowledge of various topics, such as economics, investment, and content writing, and that obliges us to learn, the consequence of learning is that you will have more knowledge, and so the link here will be the crypto that makes people smarter. Especially with the rapid development and expansion in many different fields, crypto is really an endless source of knowledge for everyone, I can not deny that people in crypto are gradually getting smarter and apply more knowledge to real life

Re: Campaign Managers and Bots. The main reason for the SPAM. Solutions?
by
cinchin1
on 30/08/2018, 13:18:50 UTC
According to what he is presenting, the spammer appears because the bounty program and many people are creating accounts continuously, and I really think that creating multiple accounts is just the result of bounty when they require a lot of post in a week, and of course, if want to do that, many people have become spammers. Therefore, to limit the situation of spammers appear, we should ask the regulators should have the appropriate rules, there should not be too strict conditions

Re: What are your plans for the next 5 years in Finance?
by

on 28/08/2018, 13:46:02 UTC
I want to have "Passive Income"
I will raise capital to build a business that can provide me with passive income, so in my old age I do not need to work to earn money, how about you?
do you have an idea to build a business that can provide passive income with minimal capital?
I want to buy a piece of real estate somewhere in a warm country and make money by renting it out.
Real estate is always a good investment, its value steadily grows each year (not 150 million percent like bitcoin of course  Grin), but even that stable monthly income would be enough for me.
Your idea is very reasonable, real estate is always a place to bring a lot of money when the population growth is still occurring every year, even if we have enough money, building a resort is still very suitable for the times. Talk about myself, I think I will build a car repair shop when that is what I learned in college, in addition, I will look forward to cooperating and trading a convenience store chain, it is very suitable for people's fast life

Re: Patience is a virtue in Cryptocurrency Trading.
by
cinchin1
on 28/08/2018, 13:11:05 UTC
Patience is a virtue in any type of investment, whether it's cryptocurrencies or real estate, these money need time to grow. Don't expect big gains tomorrow.
I agree with you. This market requires a lot of patience of each person because without this virtue will certainly only get back to failure. I personally invest in the Cryptocurrency market for a very long time and always go through many different stages and can see this is my perfect life.
It is not a requirement, it is a mandatory virtue we must have if we want to survive and make money from this market, and as you say, when a person does not have this virtue or is not enough, they will surely fail on the arena. I am also a person who has gone through so many stages of market transformation, although I have had enough experience but patience is always lacking, it seems never can be filled

Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin?
by
cinchin1
on 08/08/2018, 13:33:47 UTC
I think, Bill Gates know the potential of bitcoin, the drastic change that it can give to the existing industry. This change is what he is afraid of, incuding the risk it can bring to his multi-billion business.

If you are successful with current situation, would you prefer to have change? That's what Bill Gates have in mind, probably.
Why should he fear this change, crypto and bitcoin are fields that do not have much influence on his company, it only helps the technology grow, there is no reason to be afraid, therefore summarize all, we can be very clear that this might be a lie. What Bill Gate is trying to do is to mislead the government and people, he wants to show that he does not care, even against bitcoin, that made him safe in his investment and without supervision from the government, limiting the risk to his business

Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies

Always invest the amount of money you can afford to lose. This is my number one rule and it never disappointed me
I think everything should depend on our circumstances, sometimes we can break the rules if we have confidence and feel good, it will not be a big problem when we can accept the consequences, should not apply old thoughts and rules to investment, society always needs breakthroughs, and people are the triggers for that breakthrough, nothing to fear, investment is always so
