thank you for the interrest in our project. First i would recommend that you read our whitepaper 2.0.
Regardless i will give you a quick run-down:

NOS has its own independent network just like Nano. The native currency of the decentralized NOS networks is called NOS (XNOS).
It is not a "token" but a "coin" In the future it will be possible to have our own token standard NOS-20 for example.
Nollar on the other hand is our stablecoin which also has its own network. Its all part of the NOS ecosystem. There will be more stablecoins like the Neuro and Nound in the near future.
Nollar is 1:1 backed by USD and is not a synthetic or algorithmicly backed stablecoin like Tether and its also not an ETH token like 90% of stablecoins that cant be sent p2p without a small ETH balance to cover gas.

In regards to the maximum number of coins thats even explained in the Bitcointalk front page but ill post it here again: NOS our decentralized cryptocurrency has a max supply of 1 Billion XNOS. (Yes we have an actual max supply not a total supply like 99% of coins or tokens)

Now to the last point regarding the fee structure:

Since we established that NOS is a simple p2p cryptocurrency like Nano where does the utility come from? Well its simple we the NOS project give it "added value" by allowing users to recieve 50% reduced fees on Nollar cashouts via our fiat gateway or www.nollar.org
The base fee for cashouts is 0.4% (minimim cash in/out is 200$). Lets say you cashout 1000 Nollar to your bank account then it would cost you $4 in fees. Unless you can cover the fees 1:1 with NOS (XNOS) then its reduced by 50% so you only pay $2. We additionaly garantee a redeemable value of $0.012 per NOS. So if the price on the open market is more then its great for you. If its lower than $0.012 then its still also great for you since that value is garanteed if you want to move a lot of Nollar out into fiat. Yes correct we do burn 20% of all NOS(XNOS) used in these conversion. This effectively makes NOS hyper-deflationary.

Nollar is not an investment.

The NOS project offers two coins within its eco-system. First you have the stablecoin "Nollar" which is an instant and feeless stablecoin for p2p value transfer. Additional usecases are remittance and arbitrage especially for developing countries like Venezuela which desperately needs an alternative to their hyper-inflationary Bolivar. bump, did not order anything there (neither at avalon or any other mining company) but BFL needs to go away and the executive staff needs to go to prison because it is clear cut scam and fraud.
I can't help but think that the people who ordered there are somewhat deserving of getting scammed, however I've personally been blinded by greed in the past and blaming the victim (BFL customers) is like blaming an old lady for falling for a 419. I don't think SR cares, their operational costs are likely minuscule compared to the profits it generates and if was a vendor I wouldn't be using Mt. Gox at all but rather localbitcoins, #bitcoin-otc or another bitcoin to cash service.

The people who sell legal goods are screwed but they have been between a rock and a hard place for a long time with the wild price fluctuations and all. Accepting Bitpay who instantly convert your coins to USD seems like the only viable option. Bitpay probably has accounts across all major exchanges (Bitstamp, Gox, Tradehill, Campbx) and maybe private partners who are willing to take the coins of their hands.

anyway I believe it is an complicated issue. On one hand those people, who are probably somewhat capable and smart people for the most part are both the lifeblood, boon but also bane. They have an incentive to keep pushing the adaptation of bitcoin and indoctrinating new people into our little cult. To build services and infrastructure that also keep raising the valuation of a bitcoin. On the other hand people watch these addresses closely and should Satoshi himself choose to abandon bitcoin by liquidating his coins this could lead to a very fast conclusion of the bitcoin experiment. Also people get jealous because they feel the early adaptors received too much compensation for their work and denounce bitcoin as a ponzi scheme.
And then there are people like me who heard about bitcoin and considered mining back when you could still use your cpu but passed on it because it seemed too much of a far fetched idea to be viable. I still remember that post where I first read about bitcoin where someone recommended mining and said that he makes a bunch of coins just by letting bitcoin-qt mine with his cpu while hes using the computer.
