price will probably go down once people realize:

there is no product, everything is very theoretical, for a very long time.
there is a premine of over billion coins
there is no blockchain, it is unlimited supply Omni Token
price is set x20 (in USD) already
can't store so much data (of a social network) on a blockchain. need petabytes or even exabytes of data.
^ if using some kind of sharding and nodes to store data, there is no way to make the data redundant enough, and still not enough storage space

impossible and very theoretical project right now...

interesting stuff
are you planning for payment processor for stores ?
i want to open a store and accept BLK

Support for arbitrary payments is being considered, although it is not a feature planned for the initial release.

I tested one of the demos (the nice picture), is it instant TX or because BLK's chain is fast?
sent payment from my blackcoin's laptop, when i went back to my other laptop payment already confirmed

good work

Boolberry is neither dead nor in trouble.

The network difficulties were resolved in a few hours.

Can someone explain what caused the network difficulties?

Is there a possibility to stake BLK in a pool somewhere ?

I mean something legit, not a shadow company Cheesy

I have a few in my wallet and I stake from time to time, but I wouldn't be against a little more regularity Cheesy

you are welcome to send to my laptop
usually 24/7 unless there is internet or power problems. which is rare
i != shady company Smiley
you will get your coins back unless i'm dead. or i can send you the wallet private key and then no worry

if you have cheap or old laptop you can install linux, and connect 24/7 ?

HOLD? price falled after network issues but holding ok now (still think is my fault! for flooding with small tx)
bad i didn't save the error message when daemons crashed. i think zoidberg could use it to fix
what will be block reward in 2 years from now ?
is there going to be new version with improved performance soon ?
opening and closing the daemon is heavy (loading blockchain and saving to disk)

bbr.poolto.be payed me finally !

The upcoming Paspagon payment processor, which allows anyone to sell any file, has activated BlackCoin and Bitcoin payments (previously it had been operating only on Bitcoin Testnet). A few example files are available. This is not an official beta release yet, but a pre-release intended for community feedback and testing.

hey i don't get prize for destroying BBR's net ? Cheesy

Why would anyone want to destroy BBR?

it was by mistake
maybe the amount and kind of TX cause the bug

 great discoveries happen by mistakes..

If this was what you were talking about, it wouldn't be enough to disrupt the BBR network.

good
i can see new blocks now

what caused this network downtime ? bug with daemons ?

'why would the average person want to move to and adopt a currency when majority of power is in very few hands ?

The reason that "majority of power is in very few hands" is that the majority of people don't want it - simple as that.

If they wanted it they could have it.

Do you notice something ? When things are cheap, people don;t want them so they don't invest in them. When they are expensive they DO want them and so they invest.

Right now, a significant chunk of the Dash coin supply costs peanuts (relatively speaking). Only a few people are investing (relative to the world economy). When it becomes very expensive (e.g. if it gets a market cap of billions), far more people will invest.

Thats just the way the work works. Blame the people. not the asset.

i agree with that.

I will probably invest every month in few DASH until i get masternoded in a few years Smiley

my dream is to run a masternode one day
one of things i don't like is the high prices Smiley ! and maybe too much centralization of ownership and mining power. but this is the same for all coins
i was talking with a friend about crypto currency and she say:
'why would the average person want to move to and adopt a currency when majority of power is in very few hands ? will be exactly the same like today's monetary system. a few controls everything.'

this seem more like a startup than something to be used by everyone around the world ?

and sorry @splawik21, i would never want to use a service for masternodes and give my coins. to something like a bank. and destroy the fun running it for nerds/dorks/geeks
maybe you are trustworthy but can never know, you might get hacked or worse, without insurance. in the bank at least there is suppose to be an insurance

i though of idea
maybe somehow on protocol level few people can create a 'shared masternode' and still hold their coins
lets say i have 100 coins, and two more people have 450 coins each. so we can run full nodes and somehow combining our coins without giving the coins.
and when all 3 nodes are up they will get payed splitting reward
I don't have a clue if it is possible to program
