Their statement:
“It’s very understandable that a lot of users will feel upset they were able to buy what they thought an order was there for Bitcoin at very low prices. But unfortunately, the underlying Bitcoins were never in the possession of the exchange, so there’s never really anything there to be bought or sold.”
If they're selling BTC that is not in their possession, then their exchange is a Scam/Fraud (inflating what not really in their exchange).
If some endusers were able to transfer btc to their personal wallet, then the statement isn't true. You can't fake a bitcoin that gets transferred to your wallet.
This should be thoroughly investigated and audited by BSP and SEC. How much crypto does PDAX really have in their possession?

Bumili ako recently directly with Binance using a local bank ATM/Debit card. I used it 3x and it worked well.
Kung mag-convert ka ng fiat to crypto:
1. Buying peso and convert directly to BTC, Eth, BCH or XRP.
- Check both coins.ph and Binance muna kung saan ka makakarami ng crypto for your fiat. Minsan mas marami ka mabibili sa Binance. Minsan mas marami sa coins.ph.
2. Kung ang plan mo is to convert fiat tapos gagamitin mo pang trade sa Binance or other exchanges

Ngayon, walang bounty sa bull run na ito, kaya ang masaya lang ay yung mga taong nag invest talaga, bumili at nag hold.
BTC nag dump pero bumalik, di pa pala ito ang correction.

Ngayon dried up na. Last bounty ko ata was end of 2018 pa, buti eth yung payout that time.
Last year lang talaga ako nag start magconvert ng fiat to crypto. Not a lot, pero made good gains na so far.
Yung mga remaining 2017 crypto funds ko, naka recover na rin sa value, at least 25% from ATH ng portfolio ko. No regrets, kasi free internet money naman from bounty and airdrops.
2017 was my best of times sa crypto - Nag mine, stake, bounties, airdrops, ICO's and trading ako while learning all about the cryptoverse.
Ngayon trading na lang ginagawa ko. Any excess cash, put into crypto also. Hopefully until end of the year ang bull run.

Gusto ko lang ishare ang mga Plano ko kung sakaling matuloy ang ATH alam naman natin na marami sa mga crypto investors ang naghihintay na mangyari muli ang pinakamataas na value ng mga coin sa kasaysayan ng cryptocurrency. Kung maganap man ito 50 porsyento ng coin na hawak ko ngayon ay ibebenta ko for the security purposes na rin , the rest naman ay ang ihohold at iinvest sa mga project na alam kong makakatulong sa paglaro muli ng coins ko.
Sana rin sa mga may hawak ng malalaking coin diyan if ever na mangyari man ang ATH this year or kahit next year sana naman huwag ibenta lahat ang coins na hawak niyo bagkus ihold ang ilang poryento dahil alam naman natin na once makita ng mga investors na bumagsak ng bahagya ang presyo ng mga coins nagpapanic selling na sila agad kaya mas lalong nababa ang presyo nito na sana huwag ulit mangyari.
Kayo ang plano niyo kung sakaling maganap ang ATH?
Sana rin sa mga may hawak ng malalaking coin diyan if ever na mangyari man ang ATH this year or kahit next year sana naman huwag ibenta lahat ang coins na hawak niyo bagkus ihold ang ilang poryento dahil alam naman natin na once makita ng mga investors na bumagsak ng bahagya ang presyo ng mga coins nagpapanic selling na sila agad kaya mas lalong nababa ang presyo nito na sana huwag ulit mangyari.
Kayo ang plano niyo kung sakaling maganap ang ATH?
1. Set a target price dun sa mga tokens or coins mo. Create a price projection spreadsheet na pag na hit itong price na ito, at ilang % ang pwede mo i-sell. Pag wala kang exit strategy, matatangay ka ulit pababa ng merkado pag bumagsak. Kung DCA ang buy strategy mo, dapat exit or sell strategy mo DCA din, hindi biglang benta. Parang kung tumaas pa ng tumaas, pwede ka pa mag sell. Never sell all you positions, pero nag a-unload ka rin ng bags mo, kasi iba talaga crypto.
2. Use stablecoins! Eto ang hindi ko nagawa ng 2017-2018. Kelangan i-protect mo value ng portfolio mo. Kung wala ka namang immediate need dun sa crypto mo at na hit na nya yung price na gusto mo, convert to USDT, USDC or TUSD then transfer sa wallet that you own the priv key. Protect your gains.
Nung nakaraang bullrun ang pinakamalungkot kong karanasan, yung iba nagsasaya ako eh hinayang na hinayang, paano ba naman, yung ethereum na namina ko ng ilang buwan eh naibenta ko lang ng mura sa pagaakala kong ito na yung mataas na price $30 that was March 2017, Dati kasi early 2016 nagrarange lang ang eth ng $5-7 kaya nasanay ako na dyan lang ako nagbebenta ng namina ko. di ko inasahan na may bullrun na umabot ng 1500usd ang ethereum, naibenta ko lang ng $30 usd ang isa. Isa sa mga natutunan ko sa crypto ay, pag kelangan mo at tingin mo tama na ibenta, ibenta mo.
Kung tumaas pa man or bumaba, tanggapin mo na lang. Wag ka manghinayang.
Sa ating mga nangdito na ng 2017 at nakaranas ng 90-95% drop ng crypto portfolio nila. Acceptance lang talaga.
Ang isa pa sa pinaka mahirap gawin ay yung bumili ka ng pababa ng pababa - or buy the f@ckin' dip.
Isa sa strategy na nag paid off sa akin is consolidation ng portfolio ng 2018-2019.
Sold all my $hitcoins and focused on 2 ICO projects that has the most potential in 3-4 years time na nag down ng 95%. As in lahat ng pwede ibenta, ibenta then buy the dip.
Di ko na i-shill ang mga projects na ito.

Nung 2017 talaga, "magical internet money" ang crypto as in pwede ka kumita ng 7 figures sa airdrop, bounties ng WALANG fiat convertion.
Ngayon parang mas ok na mag convert na ng fiat kasi sobrang dami currency ang ginawa ng lahat ng central banks across the globe. Convert some to crypto para di ma-devaluate ang pera mo. Pero yung kaya mo lang sikmurain na bumagsak ng 95% at i-HODL.

Parang ngayon pa lang talaga mag start ang mass adoption and institutions heavily coming to crypto.
We were really fortunate, those who joined 2016-2017:
- There were signature bounties amounting to as high as $3,000+ before.
- Airdrops that amounted to more than $10,000, some in btc amounting to BTC0.25 when they hit exchanges.
These times are long gone.
But I'm looking at 2021 with bigger hopes. Hoping that it will be like 2017.
See btc break 20K and reach 60K+, See eth break 1.4K and reach 3K+.

I've successfully transacted 400k per day for several days in a row before, using coins.ph as that was my daily limit. No issues, except coins decided they wanted to talk to me a few months AFTER it happened. So I talked to them. I said hi, hello.

2. Crypto never sleeps. You can trade 24x7 anytime, anywhere.
3. SCAMS! A hell of a bunch of them! They come in truckloads!
4. How to earn crypto without converting hard earned fiat - Bounties and Airdrops (Airdrops were awesome last 2017 but it's dead now)
5. Mining - thru PoW or PoS/Masternodes. I learned to setup both. I even learned Linux kasi crypto miners perform faster on CLI.
6. Hardware wallets - Get a Ledger for security long term storage of BTC and alts. Store a few in your MEW wallets and quick transfer of funds para di mo lagi dala Ledger.

Had the opportunity to join 2016 but it didn't happen - but that's a different story hehe.
Na reap ko yung crypto benefits ng early 2018 to mid-2018 na, kahit pababa na ang market.

Di na ako nag-ba-bounty. Dati ok pa ang odds (50/50) 50% fail and 50% na mabayaran ka and ma-list sa exchange ang project.
Ngayon parang 80/20 na. 80% di mag pay ng bounty, di matuloy ang project or magbigay man ng tokens - di naman ma list sa exchange.
If you have lots of time and ok with the 80/20 odds, then go for it.
Parang ang stable na lang na bounty are those that pay in btc - usually casino/gambling related bounties.

I've used MEW as my first eth wallet. I haven't had issues on safety ever since. Just make sure you only use your Priv Key in the real MEW website.
