That's quite a decent offer, I know someone who could use it if the price does not get too high in the end.
Lot is so tasty, that's why your special someone should be quite lucky if he wants to have a nice transaction

If only BitcoinLand was blessed with a master woodcarver. Imagine the possibilities.

BTW, is it just me or are there facial images above each knee as well as above the belt line on the belly?

There's definitely something wrong with those knees.

Otherwise the art is pretty cool.

I would have never noticed this. You spoiled all the fun! The story is pretty good - I liked that Fiatpatine character.

The service looks ok but sounds at the moment as it's only going to work for South East Asia.

They also promise $10 for an early signup.

They also issue a real card which seems pretty convenient.

so, they promised $10 for early signup??
or??

Anyone got ten bucks? Should I sign up?

I think this guy is right: Vitalik Buterin, Author at Bitcoin Magazine responds:

Banking integration is the main challenge; businesses need ways to integrate Bitcoin efficiently and then immediately sell the bitcoins if they do not want to get exposed to the price volatility.

Totally agree - but I can't shake the following:
If you accept btc, then you probably know a bit about it already. Why then even use paypal? I've seen the old: Num_Paypay_Users > Num_Btc_Users; therefore, bigger base of potential customers.
Still though - buyers/sellers of purely digital goods - if there was any group that I'd expect to be able to get bitcoins, it would be this one...

This is pretty interesting method. The problem is someone would post it online for free or with advertisements at some point.

Yes but I think those people would typically be at the bottom of the chain, so ultimately it might be served up for free, but everyone has already made their money at that point. Some people might try to wait until it's free, whereas some people would probably be willing to pay a little to get a faster and more immediate download.

Actually wouldn't it make sense to just go to the 2nd to last layer before the price is free? Sort of like what Louis CK did with his stand up special. Just $5 to whoever wants it now. Freeloaders can get it off torrent sites later.

We need a crypto credit union so merchants and the likes are not forced to deal with banks directly. This entity could be devoted to finding and maintaining partners with banking entities to do nothing but convert from crypto to fiat and back.

Well, even credit unions interface with fiat somewhere, whether that's a payment processor or Visa/Mastercard themselves. Those entities have just as much incentive to shut Bitcoin out, and will surely do so. The answer is to move more and more to a full Bitcoin economy. Get paid in BTC, spend it in BTC. I'm already 50-60% there (many of my dev contracts are paid in BTC, and I pay for many of my household expenses in BTC).
