Re: CUDAminer problem

UPDATE:

Updating GPU actually worked. GPU Usage is being used as it should be, but CPU usage is still way too high. It's always at 25%, but higher when it utilizes another core. It makes the computer pretty laggy - it's a new i5 core by the way (about 2 weeks old).

Going to play around with manual config.

Anyone give me some pointers?

Thanks

Interestingly, I checked on this as well. I have an i7-3770k as well as a 680gtx. I too am getting a ~24-28% on CPU usage. So this is not an isolated incident, nor is it chipset (i5, i7) related, nor is it driver related (i am running whql 3.14)

Anyone else have any ideas?

After playing around with the settings, I can't seem to find an option that you can edit CPU threads or optimisation. If this isn't an isolated incident, I'm assuming it's coded and programmed this way?

Updating now.

At the moment I'm letting the autotune do it's work. Of course I'm entering the commands so it connects etc.

Should I try manual config?

I tried using GUIMiner scrypt by Taco, but same thing happens - just CPU Usage only.

If you have suggestions please let me know. I'll post back how I go after I update drivers.

Interesting you have the same GPU as me!

Can I ask a question - is your GPU Usage actually increasing?

My problem at the moment is cudaminer is using my CPU instead of my GPU  Embarrassed

Seem to be having similar problems to people above.

I've downloaded the latest version, the autoconfig actually works pretty nice.

I have one issue that I CANNOT work out for the absolute life of me. Either I'm plain stupid, misread something, or something I'm doing is wrong.

So first of all, everything connects fine etc it says it detects my GPU, says it's using my GPU...everything is fine at this point.

However - my GPU is not being used at all to mine. It's 0%, meanwhile my CPU is being used (25%, goes higher if I use the computer obviously). So the problem I have is the miner is using my CPU instead of my GPU.

This happened with another couple of programs I tested as well. Using GUIMiner for BTC uses GPU fine though.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Re: Offering PayPal for Bitcoin? You're likely to be labeled a scammer - Read why

Haven't read through the entire thread, but can someone shed some light on whether or not this is true?

- Create Invoice via Paypal to send to customer
- Invoice has terms and conditions, such as non-refundable under no circumstances
- Have customer send an email to confirm they agree to terms
- Customer pays Invoice

I had to file a claim with Paypal few months ago over a dodgy Ebay seller who gave me a "new" piece of furniture. The furniture had scratches and cracks in it. It actually was a major effort for me to get Paypal to have me win the case, because I had to provide proof etc etc.

I suppose it's different when it's not a physical item, however I wonder if Paypal will accept the above steps?
