The exchange is not the final version.  It is a beta version and as such has no online wallets.  Seems Jefferson made a mistake in releasing it prematurely but he did state that "It is just a matter of management that is needed to fully launch the service".  The Voot Foundation is on the case but was only created 24 hours ago so I expect it will be a few days at least before the team structure of the foundation is settled and for the guys to get up to speed, take control of the infrastructure and establish a release plan. 

The primary news of the last few days is the establishment of the Voot Foundation, and we should focus on that.

WTF?? Nice timing. A mutiny is not what this coin needs, especially right now! A structured team of devs, technical writers and PR people is what it needs to provide professional support to the voot brand. Delivery of the anon exchange is MsCollec's chance to demonstrate his leadership role on this project. If he succeeds then the community can work with him to fill in the holes. If he fails then perhaps there will be grounds for a rescue mission but until then I'm afraid you have just been taken in by all the recent fud and may well have provided the final nail in the coffin.  I'm astonished that you thought this post was a good idea.

Sorry to hear you are leaving us, you have done a good job raising important questions.  I don't interpret things quite the way that you do:

• Firstly, Smokeproject work for MsCollec because he has paid them a fixed sum to deliver exchange, cloud and market.  He doesn't own them.
• Secondly, I think it is very reasonable to limit dev team communication to a single channel for two reasons: 1) it reduces interruptions for the dev team and; 2) developers are often not great PR people!  Many developers I've met over the years (usually the good ones), do not keep a cool head when faced with personal or professional accusations (to put it politely).

My opinion: MsCollec is not deliberately scamming us.  What he has achieved since he took over is admirable, at least provided it is confirmed by a release of the exchange next week.  There are significant issues related to the quality of documentation and technical info that has been released but I am willing to put that aside for now and wait to test the quality of the delivery.  Perhaps that can be resolved after this weekend.  Meanwhile Whale and Jefferson continue to do a good job under difficult circumstances and I commend them.  

Anyway, ramble over, I wish you all the best in whatever you do next.

The value of this coin over the next few weeks is in the listing at BTC38, the successful delivery of the exchange and the community's confidence in how the exchange will be run with respect to the voot currency.  We can ruin it in the meantime with high emotion, finger pointing, relaunch ideas and responding to (frankly, arse-wavingly obvious) fud if we want to but at least lets get the answers to the community's questions that Whale123 and Jeffersonairplane have put to the dev team and wait for the next week to unfold.

So, there is no intrinsic link between the currency and the exchange (other than [probably] being partly funded by rises in voot currency)? AnonEx is effectively a new exchange but with the voot symbol in the top left corner, albeit on the Tor network.

I see value in that provided voot cloud and voot market are intrinsically linked to the voot currency.  Can you confirm this?

Burners' questions and others from pages 70 onwards:

1) When its Anonymous, how is it secured to not loose coins which we transfer to the exchange? This question was here before.

2) What is the fee for transactions? Where is the Fee going? In our Voot Escrow Fund?

3) Are we willing to pay our employees based on the fee's we earn? That would motivate everyone.

4) I lost 1 BTC with C-cex.com and I know their volumina very well and I see how hard it is to get a Exchange going.

5) How does the exchange promote anonymity when it is centralized and asks for name and email address on registration? Is it any more anonymous than Mintpal-on-Tor?

6) If the exchange is not decentralized on the voot network then what does it have to do with the voot currency?

Actually it probably will be worth more, at least temporarily.  The FUDers will then ask the same questions as you did and the price will drop... unless we have ready answers to those questions. 

You have raised some (obvious, in hindsight) questions whose answers are vital to the mid/long term stability of voot.  The Anon Exchange is crunch time for voot - at least it is for me - since it is the first major feature release, and its 2nd timely delivery and quality is vital.  As you quite rightly highlight, the success of voot and the exchange relies not only on the technical release but on the details of the management of the exchange and how it relates to the voot currency.  If we want a shot at the moon rather than a P&D then as a community we should get our heads together and flush out as many concerns as possible before VAnonEx is released.

On top of your four questions: my two pence worth:
