Update on my lost 1.48 BTC ($85,000 USD):
- Admin finally replied to me, said I will be refunded for my losses in a few separate payments between now and the end of May.
- Admin sends me a BTC address to send the refund to and says "Please confirm that this is the correct address to send your refund to".
- I have never seen the address he sent me, nor did I previously send him ANY BTC address to send my refund to, and it is not my BTC wallet. I reply and tell him don't send the refund there, and give him another address that IS mine to send the refund to.
- A few days later (today) I get another message saying that they have sent the first payment for my refund. I check the transaction, and see that they sent $30,000 to the address that they had given me before, even though I had told them NOT to send the refund to that address, and given them a new one.
The address they sent me is not any address I have ever used, nor is it the address that I used to originally send the coins to cryptomixer. I have no clue where they got this address to send my refund to, as I never sent it to them, and I am unsure as to why they proceeded to send $30,000 of my refund to this address after I specifically told them not to and gave them a new one....
why would they not send funds back to the address that originally sent them? why would they send them there after i told them not to? I will keep the thread updated when I get a response from them.
tl;dr:
still have not received any amount of a refund for my lost 1.48 BTC.
admin sent around .5 BTC of my 'refund' to a random address that I don't own and never gave to them.
