There was a small oversight in witness vote calculations after the VESTS share split that took effect 2 hours ago.
We have made a new release that fixes those issues and recalculates all witness votes tomorrow at 2:00 PM EST.
We have tagged a release here that all miners / witnesses will have to update to.

There are several other witness scheduling / voting issues that were addressed in this fork.
The good news is that most of the witnesses that were in top are still in the top and the network is still running smoothly through this transition.

I am running a few instances of steem and I finally get some steems with the help of bitshares forum members and friends. I am a long-time active witness of bitshares (under the witness name of "bitcube") and I would like to dedicated my time and effort to run as a witness for steem too.
I wait for payment also,and I think it is not problem with global time difference but with BTC price going up.
Also reward is reduced first to 800 satoshi,today to 640 satoshi.

I don't even claim until I have more than 100,000 satoshis.
I waited for more than 100,000 sat to avoid dust too. I trusted the site. I have activated via email to enable payment but today is Tuesday and I am not getting paid. I am getting worried. Is this a scam?

Profitability on this coin has severely tanked in the last day. Too many people dumping at the cheapest buy offer pushing the price down. Grumble... grumble..
But still a profitable coin...This statement means absolutely nothing if you don't mention costs involved. If you already paid off your cards and are paying 0 USD in electricity costs then yes it is profitable, otherwise it depends on the investment and incurred costs.
The amount of BTC I'm mining minus my electricity cost gives a positive net result, so, in my case, it's profitable...
What is your electricity cost/rate?

why this coin is so struggling in the exchanges?
This group of buyers is bottom-fishing. Unfortunately, with the hash-rate more than double (resulting mined coins halved) since the last price rally and the last few days of BTC big slide (BTC is USD510 now), it becomes a money-losing business to mine even with the slight increase in price. When miners start to realise the current exchange price cannot cover their costs, they will ask for a higher price.

Lots of new miners jumping on this coin today. Difficulty is shooting up. Even now, the party might be over. :p
At this exchange rate, many miners will lose money, except if they have free electricity and/or private mining software.

i have 270X AMD
This is linux-only and NVidia-only coin. i have 270X AMD For now. The dev has come up with an optimised nividia linux miner single-handedly and in a short time (within a week?). Bravo!
I am sure an AMD miner is in the pipeline (looking at Wolf0)

Seeing a solid base form at 1350-1375 sat.
The successful switch to pruned mode is an important milestone.
The current price is a bit below my initial target of 1500, but that ended up being pretty close. I can definitely see upside from here and I'm a buyer at these prices.
The big early miner with 550k coins and unknown intentions is still an overhang but I don't see a huge risk of dumping, especially with the coin at current low prices and showing a lot of promise. Dumping the 550k at this price would only yield about 7 BTC. Whoever went to the trouble of mining all those blocks right away probably would like more than 7 BTC to show for it (and notably didn't sell even at 10k).

Good analysis smooth. I've been buying all the way down.
By coincidence, we bounced off the 1375 floor at the same time pruning hit.
What's the next Big Ticket item for the ecosystem? Dice? Point of Sale? Local merchant acceptance? Dice would show off XCN's speed and dust/spam/bloat-proof characteristics very well. Do we need a CryptoNiteClub next to the Bitcoin Embassy and Monero Hotel?
What about canonical pizza? I'll pay 10,000 XCN for a large with green olives and pineapple.

The -resyn went on smoothly until it is stuck at 'Downloading headers.. 6 days behind'. It has been 6 hours since it stuck there. The debug log says:
Upload your debug.log file to mega or something so we can take a look at it.Thanks for the offer to help. I succeeded in restoring my wallet by deleting everything (but first backup the wallet) and then replace the newly generated wallet with my backup wallet. The blocks are newly downloaded.

I was running win64_cryptonite-qt_14080613.exe (changed to this version based on the dev's notice) but it crashed. When I try to re-open the qt wallet, it says "Incorrect or no genesis block found. Wrong datadir for network?".
What is wrong with the wallet QT?

Can run with -resync option to repair block database. Can't help you with the crash. Will need better bug report, logs, crash dump etc.
