Will there ever be more XYM than XEM ? Is the hard cap = 8,999,999,999 like XEM ?

Guys I hold XEM in my Binance Spot account. I checked the block height with https://explorer.nemtool.com/#/
I was wondering, if I sell my XEM 1 block after the snapshot for XYM 3,105,500 +1 will I receive the airdrop? I know that there will be a sell pressure after the snapshot and I would like to accumulate more XEM by doing this

Binance will likely freeze all XEM activities some hours before snapshot and some time after specific block, you will not be able to do so in that way, imoI was wondering, if I sell my XEM 1 block after the snapshot for XYM 3,105,500 +1 will I receive the airdrop? NEM platform is going some place. I remember those satoshi days. Man, its so cool to have witnessed it . Just need to catchup information. its been a while since I got fresh news.
XEM is in trending these days and even when the bitcoin dumped, the XEM remain stable in price. I think it can easily reach 3-5 dollars within next 10 days.
What are your price predictions for this coin ?
Well being a seasoned in crypto world, I don't think it will be at that level. The reason is now we have DeFi that people have shifted their focus on and Ethereum is the leading force followed by Binance. Don't get me wrong as I also see a lot of potential in XEM.

Seems to Symbol (XYM) fork/airdrop/launch (?) was already included in XEM price.. and now it starts going toward south again :/

XEM price is now at least in the same level than it was before the announcement of snapshot day.
And it is higher than month ago. Clearly going up ...
XEM price should go parabolically up after this snapshot news. There are still 12 days in the snapshot and we can expect good return from this investment but unfortunately bitcoin is not stable is at this moment. If bitcoin keeps on dumping, it can spoil the NEM party. For altcoins to move, bitcoin needs to be stable or range bound.

I installed wallet and run it on testnet
Running symbol-desktop-wallet\Symbol Wallet.exe? .... Which instructions you followed?

Literarily just run it, and after that created new wallet on testnet. It seems working, balance is 0 and I don't know if I should check something else...
Did you got any notifications from Window's security softwares?
In Windows10 there appeared some note from Microsoft Defender Smartscreen. I think it came with 14.0 and also with 14.1. The note was passed and the installation continued.
Edit: tried now again with 14.1. And reduced some security SWs from PC before installation and running.
After 30 minutes the Wallet-window remained totally empty, not even a note that "You are missing this ..." or "Cannot connect to ...".
Tried again so that firewall was shutdown. No improvements: the Symbol-window is totally empty, not even Menus, nothing.
Strange... I would expect that the UI and Menus are constructed before trying db or net connections.
The version 0.10 was showing something, so this PC has some capability to work...
In Windows7 the 14.1 installation went better.
There the Symbol-wallet's window has texts :
"Access my Profile
Create mnemonic Import mnemonic Access Ledger"
Were those similar as in your wallet?
I hope there will be bigger fonts and guides for the wallet usage ... (and it is not assumed that "ofcourse everyone knows these universal crypto things")

I do not clearly understand your point of view. Even if you keep your XEM in your private wallet, the price can still drop on exchange ? And After the snapshot XEM will dump hard as people who are accumulating the free coins, will dump them once the snapshot is over.

I read somewhere that this drop of BTC is due to BTC futures options expiry at 26.02. so if this was the reason and if price does not drop in 30-40k range and cause too much fear, we should see better days for overall crypto since this weekend... Just an opinion and some hope, not advice:)
How futures' expiration act in these cases?
Some are guessing(?) that the drop was planned to cause some panic and then take the advantage with selling as short ..

Agree, point of holding ALTs is to expect them to overperform BTC. XEM was just Ok in last month (compared to overall market), hopefully it will explode at some moment.
Regarding System XYM, tbh I am now less optimistic about announcement of launch date in a month or so - hope to be proven wrong...

Some information about testing the Symbol network: testing is carried out by 3 essentially independent teams. From the side of the developers, from the community in Japan, from the HEM HUB side.
Load testing of the Symbol network on January 26-28 showed really good results in many respects: stability, speed, reliability under loads. There is a good chance that the productive network will be launched in February
