The vinish group gives better results.. I am a miner.. I am not a worker.. from the competition.. We can obtain the same or better results.. in a short time.. I have obtained 25.7 W/T with immersion with an old model 96th... and stable... and I have also obtained 159th with 35 W/T with immersion...
I wait for other miners to do the tests.. and it's good news that they are working on the new miners.. Bitmain just announced new firmware for the jpro 100th 25.5 over the air.. I look forward to their firmware to test.. and beat to the controller amlogic!!

The developers of public firmwares... live from that... they earn up to 3% of the hashrate worked... it seems that this time bitmain once again beat them to it!! better efficiency in their new chips.. with their firmware in their own way.. Voltage and frequency!!

The new miner.. has better dissipation and the BM1362AK chip.. should be more efficient..
The asic is smaller than the previous BM1362AC

kano, first of all my thanks for your great contributions in the development of bitcoin. Wouldn't you like to make a mining pool for other sha256 coins? for example XEC? or other sha256.. to see if we can improve income in these difficult times
The mining pools did not follow your example of transparency, and we are at their good will.

Re: Braiins OS & Braiins OS+ custom ASIC firmware: optimize performance & efficiency

Is there a way to run S9s at even lower voltage in the future?
Seems like 7.95 volt is the limit?!

Any way to set or try 7.5 or even 7.0 volt?

Good idea... I imagine you want drops below 500Mhz, let the electronics workshop ask, how can we make that change for hardware... and if we gain better efficiency...

I have a problem with my S9 miners on BraiinsOS+.
I had about 100 S9 running about a year ago. about 80 were running on BraiinsOS+ because I like the interface, the options and the knowledgebase.
I use them with Autotune and I had good hashrates with most of them. (branded 13,5TH - most reached 15-15,5)

Now less than half of my S9 are still alive. Most of them lost all their hashboards ("no asics found" etc.).
Maybe I`ve done something wrong? Should I not use the autotune-feature when they are supposed to run longer than a year?
Had the feeling my S9K (no BraiinsOS available) have a much longer lifespan (to be fair - they were brand new while all S9 were used ones).

Another problem I was facing: My Bonus on slushpool was way (!) too little. I guess it has something to do with me splitting the hashrate to separate slushpool-accounts, but the support wasn't able to find the reason. It makes not much of a difference - but it is still little annoying.

Thanks for your ideas.

You can't marry a firmware.. we are miners.. we need to get our investment back.. Many people in this btc thing don't risk anything, so they are cold..
Try all the firmwares out there... Vinish, hiveos, braiins... do it individually... and you'll be able to raise some dead miners...

Braiins, it is a bit slow with the adjustment and in my experience with the 17 series, many times the hashboard can go to 0, we just have to be careful... Let's remember who is putting the money for the miners, and others... (who we are the ones who have to recover our investment)

I recommend Vinish... don't think about the fees but about the stability of the miner... to overclock, I've heard that they seek efficiency W/T (brains) although I can't deny that the firmware is good... but I think that they must listen to the miners.. to improve their system..

I'm posting a photo of a 100ths s19jpro in immersion... Ahh, and to achieve this... you must have a good cooling system... Don't force the miner... because you can damage the regulators, circuit board and asic. .

Any mineral oil does the job or we have to take care of some details ?

Low Viscosity. You can also try silicone oil
(Clearco ST50) I got my problem, for some reason the thermal adhesive tape does not work for me

Anybody have ideas?
I have AMD Radeon VII, works stably with a standard radiator and coolers.
system win 10 x64, drivers adrenalin last vesion
Disable standard coolers and LED illumination(disconect wires) - gpu still works stably,
After disconnect all coolers, remove radiator and housing leaving the bare card(PCB), place the card in immersion liquid(miniral oil) (temperature about 25 C volume 100 liters) and get in the readings adrenaline 35 C.... Why the difference in temperature?
Then  launch claimore, and the temperature in adrenaline on this GPU in a few seconds jumps to 75 C and the system freez... after reboot gpu does not detect by OS, until pci change, but it still freez after after few seconds

Did anyone launch a successful radeon VII in immersion liquid?

i think you need to check riser and power cable.

Use its heat sink, and you have to cool the oil, either with freon or with a radiator .. a card is low wattage ..

These friends have lots of toys for small scales, you could try ..

Hi
I don`t think you can make it to work whit a bare GPU in Mineral oil. You need a very good mixer and flow form the pump in front of the GPU chip and HBM also the VRM`s need`s cooling. It`s easier to just let the radiator attached to the GPU. You can remove the fans and save energy whit or without the radiator there is no gain or lose of electricity just space. But from the picture posted you have spare so put the radiator and you are good to go.
I`m doing my  immersion setup right now and it`s working very good. I`m not so happy whit the result but will upgrade my pump and see how it is for now I have 13 RX 570 immersed and the power from the wall is 1500W for 31Mh/s per GPU under Linux I thing that under windows they will do better will see Smiley.

what system do you use, i'm dealing with hiveon and ethos for the first time and i can't start them without the fans .. how did you disable them?
1500W for 13 GPu? It is wonderful!!!!

I am a user of brains, currently and I confess that Bitmain is disgusting, currently, in the last S9 they sold from the J Series, they removed a chip, to block the writing of the Nand. Not only did they update the 2019 firmware, but they removed hardware to disable writing on the control board. They sell miners set at high voltages, when they can be more efficient, either by frequency or by voltage. It was the case of miners 12.93 Mhz, set over 9 volts and frequency of 600 Mhz (1450W to 1600 W). I admire the trajectory of kano, but I also congratulate the courage of thierry4wd. I think we shouldn't argue, we are on the same Team!

Hello ThomasV,
Please Help Us. We were somehow hacked and lost a large amount of LTC.

I don't know what to do. Is there anyway you can help us?

I haven't updated my wallet since February 13th, 2018.
Is there a way to seek help from the creators or developers of Electrum Wallet?

NomadGroup..

It is complicated repairs the hash board of bitmain .. I just received 15 machines r4 .. and a hash board was damaged .. So it is contacting them .. for the warranty. The new s9 they do not only want the hash board, but the complete unit ..

Please contact bitmain, so they can guarantee you for your bad cards ... they take about 30 days to return your repaired cards ..

I can help you .. in the irc .. I spend with the boys ... Let me know

regards

The repair is not so much money .. and includes the return shipping
