As of right now, with 14mh+ on the pool, in the last 48 hours I've made .07 a day.. It's not meeting the expectations stated... gonna let it ride out the rest of the week or so and see if it changes or not.

Driver software for Singles
by

on 10/08/2013, 19:05:17 UTC
The singles device drivers updated fine from my laptop, but I purchased a net book just to run these and it doesn't seem to want to auto download device drivers. I then try to go to the device manager to manually have them search and download and it will just pause or freeze on searching for drivers.. Are there any downloads out there that I can manually update the drivers or a solution to this would be helpful..

I just started mining and was curious to if the payouts happen right away or once the block is 'confirmed'? coins don't seem to be showing up on my info or in my wallet.

Say for example, I have 2 singles. Can I have them set to send the coins they mine to 2 different addresses?

I'm just going to purchase some of 'cablez' cable's.. and buy a separate PSU to run my asics and my laptop. no need for those power bricks then. Cheesy.

The Jalapeno's coffee warming ability is kind a secondary focus and of efficacious it might be is somewhat dubious... but it will hash, oh yes. Smiley

As far as power on the singles go, we are going with a different power brick, but your old ones should still be compatible with the new units.

This is interesting. I could have sworn they said it would have an internal power supply. But their website is down (related to the godaddy outage?) currently so I can't check.
At least we can power the things with our efficient PC power supplies.

The internal PSU bit on the website was a mistake.  It's since been corrected.  It will be an external PSU.

The power requirements for the single/minirig will not be more than the current single/minirig.

Josh states that itwill be an external PSU now.. Do you think it will be the same connection?

Indeed, the bottom line is we are working to improve customer service and our shipping times.  We just shipped orders from the first of August, so we are getting caught up there.  I have been working hard on the customer service issue as well as the shipping issues.  We are also working very hard on getting the ASICs out the door on time.  We are really beefing up our production capacity and moving everything we can in house.  We've purchased a pick and place machine, an oven, stenciler and other equipment to manufacture all the boards in house.  This means we can produce as many boards as we need without being at the mercy of board manufacturers and their timing/runs.

Our ASIC chip is 100% original IP and we will have as many chips as we need, when we need them.  We are standardizing a lot of our equipment, so we can keep massive quantities of inventory on hand (at least 6 months of production work is the goal), allowing us to crank out units - literally - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if need be.  We've hired more personnel and will be hiring yet more people as we gear up.

The ASIC generation is going to be much less complex, as well, so there will be less steps to creating a fully functional end unit, and we will also be able to assemble/produce the much faster.  Everything you know about BFL is changing now and will continue to change.  The only thing I can do is assure you we understand the concerns and we are doing everything we can to address the past mistakes.

Any guesses or rough estimates for the "dark/unstated" orders to match these, based on the order numbers? 1:1? 1:2?

based on the order number, its at least 1:10
Then again, how many of those order numbers were for processing payments from other websites?  How many remain unpaid after generation?  Etc?

Each website has it's own set of order numbers.

What other websites are there?

Man, I'm learning new things everyday... So, lemme get some things straight. I can buy a separate PSU, Order a few of these cables and they would be more efficient then the default power bricks? My plan is to get a laptop to run the Singles I have on order. In your picture on your 1st post, that On/Off switch is for the PSU?  I most definitely will be putting in an order when my singles arrive. The SC's, So it might be a bit.
