First of all I want to apologize for my DEMANDING TANTRUM but I felt it was needed to get people out of their comfortable chair and look at the current situation from an investor point of view.
Second I want to answer most of peoples comments with the hope that some very positive synergy makes this coin even better than what it is now.
Third, this is my opinion and my criticism with the hope that BlackCoin is the winner.

Please go to reddit. You have to understand we all have our roles.. I personally know very little about development timelines and schedule... So I only focus on PR stuff. On Reddit I can pick and choose what to spend my time on. This forum is a terrible medium for communication. Today 2 foundation members did an AMA on reddit...

Reddit seems to have become the main focal point for the BlackCoin community now and it's been infinitely better there for just about everything over this piece of decade old forum software. I haven't seen any censorship there at all and if you're getting downvoted, it's because you're not adding constructively to a topic, just ranting off topic or just trolling. Losing the old thread is one of the reason of BC downtrend.
You've got to be kidding? Read through the last 10 pages of that thread and tell me how on earth that could help BlackCoin in any way at all. Innovation, community, projects, marketing and a lot more important factors drives a coins success than the number of pages on that coins thread. Also keep in mind, the Bitcointalk boards average online users is around 350, this is a tiny drop in the bucket of the global crypto currency user base at large.

I sorta agree.this shit is hard to find when searchingI'd respectively disagree. A 1500 page thread is useless when 95% of the posts are FUD spreaders, trolls and people posting in giant read letters every time they can to derail any conversation, that alone would turn off any prospective investors quicker than a new moderated and constructive thread like this one is now. I think it's largely a moot point anyway as most people are using the subreddit now anyway, it's far better at organising a community than any single thread on decade old software like it is here.

Yeah unfortunately it's an unmoderated thread which lead to it's inevitable take over by trolls and "others". Not sure if it can be resurrected and changed to moderated, plus even if it could, you'd probably want to prune the last 100 or so pages. It's amazing how much better and more constructive this thread has become, if it keeps going like this then I'd be happy to keep this one going. Although most people should be using the BlackCoin subreddit now, it's getting pretty good and most people seem to be migrating there now!

Alright,with this remember this is just my personal opinion,and my opinion may or may not represent views of the entire community;that being said,I honestly feel that this feature is not necessary. I'm honestly thinking very long term.I'm very intrigued by the whole darksend tech,and I agree with the majority of people that it is revolutionary.however, I'm thinking about how countries/ governments/ legitimate merchants will see this. To make a long story short, I think dark send will be perhaps the future of black market and illicit activities.yes,BTC and other currencies have been able to launder money/ other illegal activities,but that's because a) people did not understand bitcoin/block chain. B)many had not even heard of BTC. Now that govts are watching digutal currencies,many of these criminals are being caught because of the block chain and fiat paper trails. We've seen that digital currencies are still here to stay,and their utility is still feasible for what they were meant.but with something like darksend and other features, im not really sure how well this will be received by the rest of the world.there's definitely money to be made with it,but will it bring legal and ethical implications with it down the road?

Yeah I think your right on the money dcm987. I think darksend is just the crypto feature of the month, and brings with it connotations of illegal activity which is something we want to avoid in order to get BlackCoin main stream adoption from not just people, but legitimate businesses.

Hey lectrolux! I believe there's an Android one currently being worked on, not sure of the ETA though. Apple won't allow CryptoCurrency wallets in the App Store as far as I know, so I wouldn't hold out for an iOS version anytime soon. Hope that helps mate!

As we all know I have been with this community basically from day one, I have personally seen it grow and I have personally become the main spokes person for BlackCoin. I am viewed as the Community Manager for one reason: Trust & Transparancy. You came to me with your press release idea, and I said: put up or shut up, you delivered. I donated.
You came up with the BlackCoin Cards. I loved it and I helped promote it heavily on all the social media accounts and places I could. It was a big success. Over 300 sold in the first batch.
You came up with the WallStreet idea. I liked it, and I asked the people that are able to fund projects like these for their opinion. Before I could get the final answer you decided to hop off IRC and a day later you just posted it on the BTC Talk thread. It went great. I donated.
From that moment on you have never contacted us again. I was pissed when you publicly attacked Gritt for a comment that was true but misread by many. He apologised to me for it, we put out the actual statement that still counts: We support the idea, we do not sponsor it and it's not from the official BlackCoin team.
You know full well where to contact me, IRC, PM on BTCTalk and I think you even have my personal e-mail. Instead of asking me what that comment was about, you wanted to go on to publicly discredit all the work we have been doing for months.
Next you go and claim that idea's, that were from other users, were yours and successful because of you. I find it curious that you claim that VoS was your effort, and when I simply reply with definite proof it wasn't you, you can't even bring it up to make an apology.
You are the problem here in my opinion. You yourself have created this view of your persona right now. This is not 'the people from IRC' or 'the devs' bashing you. This is the community that is bashing you down. And apparently, reading your responses, you know full well that your planned 'take over' is not working. This community is so much more then this BTC Talk thread. This community is thousands of people big and they come from all sorts of channels. Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and yes, a lot too from BTC Talk.
I personally am managing 40-50 people that work DAILY on making BlackCoin better. One of the reasons why we have decided to get a REAL PR firm for promoting the coin is because it has NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. We will be doing something unique, and the only person bashing MY EFFORTS down is you.
We showed our faces on the BlackCast. We got over 250 concurrent viewers during the stream, and a YouTube video that has been watched over 1250 times. I've gotten countless messages that people love the cast and that they trust BlackCoin so much more.
Besides, you haven't talked about the answers we gave to your questions on the BlackCast. You seem to avoid anything that we do, i have publicly stated I like your work but i'm regretting these words with every other post you make.
The same with now (again, while I write this post up) the threats against the whole team that has worked so hard to make BlackCoin possible. It is so counter productive. Just go do your cards, go do your WallStreet event. This is not, and has never been some sort of competition/contest. You seem to want to make it one. For what reason I don't know.
Oh, and by the way, while I have been working 16 hours a day, for the last 60 days, i have donated to projects that others had. You seem to be such a rich and successful guy. Congrats. Why don't you come out and put up 2500$ for your WallStreet idea. We have an idea and come with 15000$ in hand.

Jebus IE, you appear to be both a blessing and curse on Blackcoin. You're extremely pro-active and have some great ideas, but your aggressive posts since the really great initiative by the BlackCoin foundation are really painting yourself in a highly hypocritical light. They're trying to do something great for the community, try to embrace that without any backhanded compliments or snide posts. Like your own projects, this will only do good for the coin and your really undermining yourself by reacting the way you do. Let's keep it positive people!
IE, we were waiting to post this after a conference call we had this morning. We then realized we wanted to add the .pdf but didn't have permission. I emailed them and they said they would look at altering it so we could put it in the public domain. They said they would have it by COB today. At 6PM EST I emailed our rep asking where it was and she emailed me back at 7:30PM with the .pdf we posted. After I sent it to soepkip he posted it.

The subreddit has tripled in size in ~2 weeks. In raw numbers, our subreddit is growing faster than almost any coin! Our subreddit is active, but I'm not advocating that you abandon Bitcointalk - you can do like I do and keep a tab for each.
Blackcoin and the mass of development and innovation around it has clearly outgrown a single thread. We need a place where we can more easily work together to build value in Blackcoin... and we already have that place! Let's show the strength of our community.
The subreddit is a superior platform for our web community. Because content on the subreddit depends on community consensus (much like crypto!) there is a much higher signal to noise ratio. It is far easier there to work together on specific projects to build value in Blackcoin. Especially projects like today's big one!
