You haven't given any details about the comic books or signatures that you have or where you are shipping from. Please add more information because I doubt you will get any interest without doing so.

Re: What is SegWit?

Segwit also increases the amount of information (and size) of the data in the blockchain. This is why many people are against the use of segwit.

The problem of a larger amount of information sent in each transaction means that the blockchain grows larger at a faster rate. This may not be a problem now, but in 10 years, if somebody wants to have an offline wallet they will need to download the entire blockchain which will be huge.

Re: Google Recaptcha Issues via Tor and Linux Desktops
by

The problem is that google recaptcha logs all of the queries from each ip address that uses the recaptcha.
I don't think the problem is with the browser you are using. The issue is with tor. Sometimes you need to use a different exit relay because the current one that you are using has already been flagged by google as a proxy.
I get the same issue sometimes and changing to tor circuit relay fixes this problem.

If you purchased bitcoin today, I think you would be getting into the market at the final early-adopter stage. Many people know about bitcoin now but not too many own it.

Re: Is there a way ?

I am about to change job and at the job where I am now they let me use the forum but where I will go they are not that user friendly in this regard.

Is there a way to make a webpage invisible through a keyboard command, I mean making it completely disappear from the screen and to use the same keboard command or combination to bring it back ?

You can use the free version of the Windows Hide Tool.
Here's the link. http://www.window-hide.com/

Most employers monitor web usage though so I'd still remain careful.

Re: How bitcoin price could go to zero?

Hi I was wandering what could possibly happened to bitcoin and the price go to zero.My first thought is a really big physical disaster for example because the Internet maybe stop working. What is your opinion?

If a much more superior alternative to bitcoin is created,, the price will obviously drop significantly but I don't see it ever reaching zero. It's already made history as the first currency of it's kind and people will always want it.

What's the minimum rank for signature campaigns?

I saw this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
It seems like the minimum rank to join a campaign is member for some, but full member for most.

Re: Help me please, Armory wasn't configured first time I sent me bitcoins ...

First, are you sure that your Armory wallet are synchronized correctly and loaded up to the latest block?
Next, check and make sure that you've sent your coins to the right address, which in this case is your armory address.
Last, are your transaction are already confirmed by the miner and already included in the block ?
one of the first mistakes newbies make are not realizing that transactions need to be included in a block first before it appears on your wallet.

If everything else fails, try to head to Armory sub-forum, there are a bunch of guys ready to help you out with your problem
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=97.0
Can you post your transaction id here?
You might have sent too low a fee and they haven't been included in the latest blocks.
Look for a transaction accelerator if this is the case.

Re: bitcoins and altcoins difference

Bitcoin was the first crypto currency to use a blockchain as a means of proving transactions and where the coins came from. All subsequent alternate coins also use a blockchain, but they have different rules that change the block times, transaction times, coin total and so on.

Google 'bitcointalk activity ranks'. It isn't that hard.

Re: Ethereum can go under $600?
by
daviejoneslocker
on 16/02/2018, 22:47:33 UTC
My understanding is that Ethereum has far too large of a user base to crash and not recover. There are many tokens on the Ethereum network and the Ethereum blockchain can acctually be used for something other than to prove transactions.

When OP made this post, Ethereum was crashing alongside Bitcoin, but the crash was due to a bitcoin correction. Probably in the future, Bitcoin wont hold so much weight over Ethereum and the prices wont synchronize as much.

I suppose we have to grind for those merit points. I dont think its a bad idea to have a merit system because it prevents spam, but I'm sure it's a bit of a grind to earn them. Luckily I dont need to worry about getting my 10 merits for a while. I also see that a full member account requires 100 merits! I imagine that will take some time and loads of quality posts. Anyway good luck.

Re: Low thread view count - why?
by
daviejoneslocker
on 16/02/2018, 22:31:40 UTC
Your rank has nothing to do with the amount of views your threads are getting. If you post an interesting topic then you will likely get more views. Just find something interesting to share.
