i have just tested your firmware. (v2.04 beta :: 22/12 :: test version) On one D3 its running unbelievable good! 910W 18.500 MH/S
On the other D3 there was a lot of HWs and suddenly the 3rd chain is disappeared!? (Voltage 3, Auto adjust)
Could you please help me? Im afraid that the d3 is dead...
Thanks and best regards
My 2nd chains is gone as well ..but before that there is a problem and a lot of HW as well ....sad
It can be that the low voltage is not working for one of the chains. Increase the voltage or flash back the stable Blissz version on that D3 from the topic start
Dear Blissz, I try few still not working. i did create a backup before change to ur firm ware . I try to back up and the firm ware still showing with your name . My ant miner still under warranty . Mind to help me to backup or provided me the software that able back to original state ? I would send back to Antminer for claim.
Appreciate !
did u read anything in this thread? clear your browser cache and u have the original look with the backup
Dear Friday13,
I do , I have do the backup and clear my chache using CCleaner as well. However the miner type still showing Antminer D3 Blissz v1.12 . I have contact the Antminer service support . Currently they request me to show the Overview . Which I can't able to claim it if I show them this version.
I have try couple time as well. It still doesn't back up to the original Antminer version.
Dear Bliss, If you read this , could you lend me a help ? Very much appreciate !
How you judge so quick thats scam?? give some explanation. Recording of those settings looks legit I can say, it is connected to x13 pool also mining algo settings is under advanced tab and all highlights when moving cursor etc Fans on 100% but temps are high probably due to heavy load of x13 connect over 21hours.. Why scam, only because asking for small donation?
Common sense
For me common sense is as I see I believe, so how they was able to make that running software in this presentation??
The only thing missing there is claiming that the firmware mod is being made by a Nigerian prince
Can't be.. You probably overlooked that little thing, clearly this is Russian guy
let me ask you this can you walk with your hands or eat with your legs?
legs designed for walking (mostly) and hands are designed for eating or jerking off
if it is so simple to change algos and maintain hashrate then why nobody changed s9 algos? emagine 13th hashrate on any other algo such profits will be ? can you imagine that?
not as good as ethereum with s9 but still he can do it surelly
P.S. i hope that everyone understand that i wrote it as sarcasm i'm not that stupid to believe it, as for you nid125 you can believe it i dont want to ruin your hopes
I don't understand why this is still a question A D3 is designed to mine x11, You Cant reprogram the asic ships to mine anything other then X11 They were designed exactly like a L3+ can only mine script ALGO you cant make a L3+ or a S9 mine anything other then what they were designed for which S9 is SHA-256algo L3+ scrypt ALGO D3 x11 algo, You dont see anyone trying to tell people that a L3+ can mine other algos other then scrypt do you? Also people who bought D3s are desperate enough to believe anything they see and probably donate without really knowing anything. But I can tell you 100% its a fake

Its a scam because the Asic chips are designed for only 1 algo which is x11.
I mining with this modded firmware and I try to setup 600M with 18 Voltage (for other 3 chains setup is Use Global) but HW getting worst for me. I have APW3++ 1600 W Psu with 220v. So what I missing?
Your just going to high your asic chips cant handle 600 that is why its getting worse
Has anyone had to do a warranty return/repair? I have a hashboard that doesn't show up anymore on the status page.
This is what happened: I was running Blissz and it was showing me inflated hashrates on chain0 and failing with xxxx's. I rebooted and changed frequencies/voltages but nothing seemed to help. I switched back to the stock firmware and after some trial and error I was able to get chain0 to run normally. It ran for a couple of days and then just disappeared from the status page. I saw in the kernel log that it shows chain0 as having an asic count of 0 instead of 60. Also, I tried switching out the cables connecting the chain with cables that are known to work, and changing the slot it is connected to. I saw Bitmain also recommends reflashing the stock firmware and letting it run for 20 minutes, so I tried that as well. None of that worked, so it would seem the board is dead.
I don't know if I need to post on their support forum first asking for help, or if I can go ahead and create a help ticket, disassemble the D3 (removing chain0) and package up the faulty hashboard. Anyone know what the standard procedure is?
Warranty return is almost pointless when it comes to bitmain it will take you six months to get it back
last night I switched pools in D3 miner, saved configuration, then third chain didn't start to mine at all, it showed around 62 O, after 5 minutes O changed to X. This happens for the first time. Restart didn't help, so I shut it down for night and bring it to the apartment. Next day I unplugged all cables (from PSU and hashing boards), refitted them again, start miner and third chain is back!
Don't know what happened, maybe it was too cold for antminer, I kept it at the attic and there is only 3 celsius degree at night.
What do you think about coldness - could it harm antminer ? I think if you leave it alone without interrupting it should be fine.
I'm on stock firmware (last one) and I was just about to try Blissz upgrade
I have my D3 miners in the cellar, and 2 weeks ago, it became very cold in my mining room, the temperature was somewhere between 2-3 deg C. I was shocked to find out that none of my D3 miners could start! they were just dead! I thought right away that it might be the cold, so I took one of the D3s to another warm room (24C.), and after 10 minutes, it started without a problem! As I didn't want to dismantle the other miners, I just took the one that worked and pointed its hot exhaust air to the intake fans of the other miners using a flexible air ducting hose to warm them up (1 min. was enough for each miner to heat it up). After that, they all started without a problem!
My miner is getting direct air from outside which is -9c and running strong atm but if the pool goes down they dont like to restart very well. https://i.imgur.com/Nv5K9Hl.png

Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (26/11 must update!!!)
With this firmware ...does anyone tried to use a different PSU ?? Less than 1600 w? Could I use a 1200 or 1k ?
im using a 1000watt for mine
At the lowest voltage setting at ~15 / 16GH/s/s you can run it at 750watt - 800watt. So my advice would be to have at least a 900+ watt power supply for this. Make sure not to connect al boards as you're still on the stock firmware, otherwise you'll blow the PSU. First flash it / set it to the lowest voltage / 400Mhz and then connect all the boards.
Mines pulling 1000watt @17.5gh/s psu was handling 1290 when i first started but I underclocked to 481 and almost 0 errors for the first 24hours

Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (26/11 must update!!!)
This is then a hardware problem. I am afraid you have to RMA the first board. My advice to keep mining on the two other boards (the latest custom firmware can run with 2 chains connected)
There is no reason to send it back to china is expensive to send and collect + time ti waitng.. So what one chain go rubish ? or there is posible to fix it ? .. i change place chain and show the same

So i thing yes chain is broken .... Where i can diagniostick one chain or fix ?
Have you tried to unplug the other 2 chains and see if the one that isnt working boot in?

Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (26/11 must update!!!)
Looks like a scam to me....at least, the website IS like a real scam, asking just for donations and saying nothing about the "great team" that has gathered once again (lol)....we'll see... Also, nothing about previous projects that the "great team" has finished before gathering again, rofl!!!
Yeah i got the samething is 100% a scam cause bitmain doesnt know about it. and they are showing bitmains twitter account so yeahhh scam

Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (26/11 must update!!!)
Hi blissz, firmware made a big difference to my temps and the noise reduction is God sent thank you, but then at random one of my d3's was overheating 100 degrees+. I noticed the fan speed being around 2000rpm instead of 3800-4500rpm.
I flashed official bitmain firmware on that machine then few hours later one of the other d3's did the same after a network interruption and coming back online again that machine also stuck at around 2000rpm resulting in 100 degrees+ and super high hardware errors.
Please look into this issue as the firmware really makes a difference, but is not worth the risk if the fan gets stuck at 2000rpm. The red light on the machine flashes instead of the green when this happens.
Rebooting fixes the stuck 2000rpm fan issue temporarily. It will happen on any of the fan profiles as well as when I set a custom fan speed of 50%. It seems it might have something to do with when the fan speeds are suppose to spin up loud at startup, since it's quiet at startup now I think it gets stuck there and never ramps up again to the desired fanspeed but stays stuck at that 2000rpm mark.
I have to say thankyou for all the responses and help.
I have gone back to using the bitmain firmware as I am able to modify it enough to get stable working enviornment.
As a former gamer and modifier I appreciate all the work done on this project. However, at this point I can't get behind it. It's not producing returns that require it.
Please, no desrespect to Blissz. I thank you/him for his/your help. I would have been lost trying to get my machines up and running if it wasnt for his mod and this thread.
I'll defintely be sticking around to see the progress.
Thank you to all.
To follow up on my original post. I am now mining exclusively on nicehash. wasn't my first choice but its working and others aren't working.
I think you did an awesome job with the firmware And is there an offset for all the temps is that why they are all higher then they should be cause its around -7c outside and its blowing cold air out of the D3
just had a question for everyone though is there an auto turn off or a minimal temp for the D3
