Half the world only knows about crypto because of Bitcoin. The other half is not existent. The trust is because of bitcoin. If it falls, this whole space will implode.

I would take it as a positive news for couple of reasons.
1. Crypto has always thrived when there is not much exposure from the general public.
2. Almost all the ads out there are from non-existent or illegal or unworthy crypto entities which only fool people who do not really DOYR and end up scammed.
3. Its a acknowledgement of crypto as a market disrupter.
4. something like crypto do not really need Ads on sites like google or family.
Bitcointalk and its related forums were always the best place to advertise/announce coins. google and other paid ads are by frauds/scams/ico out there to make a quick buck.
It will have a negative affect during this FUD period though. Weak hands will also panic and sell.

Show me one person who has predicted the price of BTC and has got it right consistently. There is no one. Evryone forecasts and gives their speculations. the FUD and the negative news impact the price of the coin because it moves the weak hands or the day traders.
People make money on day trading but there are many who lose also. only because TA did not come true.

Our guns aren't going anywhere, the Govt. is not capable of taking them all. It's logistically not feasible.
A government that seeks to take the guns from it's citizens is a government that seeks to step on the rights of the citizens and they shouldn't take away the guns but they should not allow everyone to have access to guns that easily.What is the right of a citizen wrt to guns? That right should be only in the vicinity or safety of your home. The moment guns are carried out, in public areas, it infringes upon the rights of other citizens right to safety and their right to live.
Even a policeman with a gun is dangerous but they are trained for many years before they are allowed to use it.

Why is semi automatic and fully automatice weapon required in a peaceful state like ours ? These are weapons for war not a democracy.
Gun control is required. Not ban against it but Control... just like we control medicines, drugs and every harmful substance and tools we have.
It has changed the world.. Not sure if it has been positive or for the negative. I guess it will depend on each person's experience with it. If bitcoin survives this negativity and this downturn in 2018, It will definitely change MY world for sure.

I have hopes from ETHOS. The devs need to publish a more concrete roadmap. We need to improve on the marketing of the products.

My opinion to gun control is to help the securty of one country. only the the low enforcement have right to hold gun unless you have a good reason to have gun or buy gun for protection. not only like toy you buy and no need document.
What good is law enforcement gun control if they don't use it? Any parent with a gun could have helped stop the massacre.

'Any parent with a gun could have helped stop the massacre', are you implying that Parents should be having guns on them when they visit their children's schools. Imagine the chaos it will bring in a school environment. Parents would be killing each other if such a situation arises.
Gun control is necessary with the increasing deterioration of the mental health of the society. IF REQUIRED, Guns should not be allowed except the sanctity of the owners home. There is absolutely no requirement to carry a gun in public. We are a country where a prescription is required for life saving medicines but a gun can be licensed and bought without any control. think about it.

It's pretty easy and fast, and you don't have to pay any taxes ( unless the legislation from your country you live in says so)
Really dangerous advice but definitely an option. high risk high gain. in the US, you will have to pay the taxes. All crypto can be traced if they have to be .

1. Dont put all you money in only 1 coin.
2. build a portfolio of 3-4 coins. out of that atleast1 should be a stable, top coin like BTC, ETH, LTC, etc.
3. The others can be coins that are priced between 1 - 100$ , 1Cent - 1$, and 1 less than a Cent.
4. Long term in crypto would mean different for different people.
5. Do not think that you will buy and hold and forget for a long time.

blame these people from developing countries trying to cash in on airdrops or fake ICO's and other scams, they are ruining everything.

2. FUDS about the coin and the bubble theory
3. news taken out of proportion by the media (pro bankers)
4. Market correction (i dont buy that though)
5. Futures and Whale manipulations.

keep your cool and your calm.. dont panic and dont sell. Dont buy either if you think it is a risk. just wait and chill.
