If you don't posess any "instragram" skills, such as making photo of everything, not an "instagram model", etc, you can start a channel dedicated to something that is of interest to you (or not, it's just easier to deliver content you care about)
You should choose the target audience\theme of your channel.
Don't take too narrow themes - harder to find regular content, too wide areas are flooded with competitotors as well. So music is too crowded, brutal death metal is too narrow, rock\metal is ok for example.
Start with some apps, allowin you to like subscribers for attention, track followers\unfollowers, etc. They usually have free trials\light modes.
Get used to post consequently and regularly. It is better to make, say, 2 posts a day, than 10 a day and go silent for a few days searching for new content. Some apps also allow tracking of "peak hours", when your subscribers are active - use it to time your posts (apps usually also allow time-delayed posts for this case)
10000 followers are a good start for placing paid ads. But you can start trying your luck with advertisement exchanges at, say, 3000 followers. You usually place your "cv" there and wait.)
Consider advertising your channel. Yes, it may cost you like 1k$ to get you to 10k subscribers, though prices vary depending on the channels' subject.
With this approach you don't need to expose your identity, which is perfect.)
