I sent an S17E to great voyage.  First they return shipped to the wrong address, they forgot the last digit of my address, so the address didnt exist.  It ended up getting shipped back to them and then they left it sitting in their warehouse for a week before shipping it again.  Then when i received the machine, it was in worse condition.  When I sent it in, 2 of the 3 hashboards were working.   after their "repair"  the machine would not boot at all into the operating system.  Pressing the IP Config button would not work, i could not get IP Reporter to detect an IP.  and the lights on the back were solid red and green.  Not to mention, the heatsink that had fallen off, was still lose!

I just shipped that machine to MYRIG in denver colorado.  Ive already accepted that this machine is a total loss, but if myrig fixes it, I have 4 more machines that need repair that I will send.  Since they have 2/3 hashboards working, I do not want to unplug them and risk shipping them to come back in worse condition.

I updated in a different thread, but wanted to post here too.  long story short, i am very pleased with myrig.com.  they fixed my machine, the price wasnt outrageous, and the time it took was acceptable

I just got a miner back from MyRig Repair service.  Everything is working fine.  It was an Antminer S17E that had one of the heatsinks fall off.

I had no problems with any part of the experience.   Shipping was easy, I shipped on the 11th and by the 13th they had received it and immediately gave a diagnosis.  The machine was ready by the 27th, so 14 days from when they received it the work was finished.  From the time i shipped to the time I got it back was 19 days.  Anytime I contacted support on Telegram, I was answered within 24 hours by a girl named ashley.

When it came time to pay, I paid with bitcoin via their website and within a couple hours I received tracking information.  for 1 replacement fan and 1 dashboard repair, the cost was 240.

I will now be sending my rigs to them whenever I need repair, and highly recommend them to anyone in the united states who is in need of repair

Email communication so far has been good.
They should receive it Wed.
I'll update with results

Another EMPTY block today by Poolin.
Block 646643

Generating EMPTY blocks means they are not fully testing the blocks they are building upon and risking causing a Bitcoin fork like happened in 2015 when the Pooling manager worked for Bitmain and F2Pool and Bitmain forked onto an invalid chain.

Be wary of supporting pools that do such bad things for Bitcoin.

Kano, I respect you, however, i have to say.  Whens the last time your pool found a block?Huh? It was July 2020.  So that means since the halving, your pool has not found a block.  Who cares if your pool is better if no one uses it.  and that stupid 1 month ramp up period, if i had to be honest, is why no one uses your pool.  You computer geniuses become a bit autistic when it comes to people and common sense.  not everyone wants "the best code" or the most perfect elegant system possible.  we paid thousands of dollars for these ASICS and we need pools that find blocks.  I switched from your pool to slush pool.  then i switched to poolin because now even slush is having problems, can go up to 40 hours without a block.   i know your line, with luck it all evens out over time.  I highly doubt your pool will ever find a block again, and if it does, the luck will be no where near 100%.  so before you come to all the other pools to cast stones, take a good look in the mirror

I just installed brains, running S9+s and S17+s

The S9+ installs worked great.  I got them at about 15.8 TH/S at 1380W
The S17's didnt work out as well.  They go pretty high, up to 80 TH/S but its not consistent.   Was really hoping to get 80-90 with the 25% advertised hash rate, but my scoring hashrate on slush is all over the place.   The S9s are solid.

Also, not sure if i need to have the "asic boost" checked in settings.

Also, i wanted to know if it was possible to install it on "unsupported"  devices, such as S11, S15 or T15?  Any ideas what would happen if i tried to install on those?
