Ohh excellent, although how you know that heart rate measurements are legitimate? many things can cause a rise in the heart rate, can also be open to traps and mischief, have you thought of some measure to counter this?

That's good for mass adoption, since coinbase is one of the best newbie friendlies platforms where people can easily buy and sell cryptos, sometimes they can get annoying with the KYC, but in general it's a good service if you don't want to get too involved with cryptos but still want to be a part of it.

Re: Will you invest in ripple ?

I believe that although we are in a general bear market, I believe that once ripple is positioned as the preferred currency for transactions, is going to explode, of course, many say it is the most centralized currency there is but that does not take away the ambition and money that could bring it to their investors.

Re: Still HODL?

I think the best option we have is to make hodl, as long as you don't need the money now, because the market despite it is recovering, I think it's still lower than it should be, it's better to wait until the end of the year to see if the bull run starts again.

After reading the bitcoin whitepaper, I think this technology will revolutionize the world, whether we want it or not, the price can plummet, but blockchain and cryptos as platforms I don't think will be surpassed in the years to come, unless a better platform comes out, the blockchain is extremely useful for many things, so I don't think it will die as a technology.

I think that with this fall is an excellent opportunity to continue investing, personally, I will continue buying established currencies, in addition to betting on ICOs that I see with good future such as dstra, so I will have a good bag of coins when the market recovers.

It's not a bad idea, but in a world so digitalized I think it is not so necessary, now there is much more digital money than there is on paper, that's why I do not see that option so relevant, of course, that does not mean it will not be useful for someone, so you can help them promote their project.

I think you can go with any of the top 10, coins such as ripple, eos or eth they are quite reliable and sure to give you a good investment, of course, if you want to bet a little more, you can always bet on a lesser-known coins such as dstra which is the one I'm involved now, has an excellent community and very good progress.

Re: Mining or Trading which one is safe?
by

Obviously mining is going to be safer than trading, because mining generates a passive income, which you do not have to be aware of every day like trading, of course, your income can be lower if you do not have several miners focusing on  it, because it is increasingly difficult to solve the blocks, and that means that the rewards for mining have also been reduced.

That's very important there are other measures like saving your wallet on a computer without internet (cold storage) and you can also buy nano ledger devices that are like secure pendrives that can contain different currencies and from what I hear they are extremely secure.

I doubt it very much, although I wouldn't mind it because I would buy a lot, since eth is one of the few coins that have a very good use in the real world, I see an incredible potential especially in the years to come, since more people will be prepared to work with the blockchain.

I think they are very different currencies that I don't think we should buy, maybe you could compare bitcoin vs. litecoin, that would provide some discussion, right now we can make a financial comparison, and I can say that although bitcoin will always be a safe bet, I think that ripple also has an incredible potential, especially when the negotiations with the banks are over.

Re: Do you sell 100% of your holdings when in profit or hodl?
by
devilman59
on 29/08/2018, 22:38:42 UTC
Depending on how high, if it was in December it is clear that the best option was to sell, since such a huge bubble could not be maintained forever, but now I try to hodl more and if the price goes up I sell a little bit to get my investment back and continue in hodl until I see what happens.

I hope so, I have taken advantage of these dips and bought some more ETH than I had, because I really trust ETH and what it can achieve, the most important thing is to have the patience to be able to earn money, in addition to trusting in the technology that ETH offers us that in the end is the fundamental thing of the currency.

Re: What is the intrinsic value of Bitcoin?
by
devilman59
on 22/08/2018, 22:49:26 UTC
I think that many can say that the value of bitcoin is a bit speculative, since you can not subject it to anything or be regulated by the price of anything, bitcoin has that price because is the price that people are willing to pay for it, of course, that does not mean that bitcoin has no value or utility, everyone gives it the value that suits them best, for example I use it for daily transactions and has made my life enormously easier since in my country I do not have any means to get electronic dollars and bitcoin facilitates that problem.

Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD
by
devilman59
on 21/08/2018, 17:08:40 UTC
Always be smart with your investment and know when to withdraw, I think that sometimes we let ourselves be influenced by greed and we do not measure that if we retire at this specific moment we would be making huge profits, we always believe that we can get more, but often not, there are many currencies that reach their ATH and then what they do is normalize, so when we see that the price rises so exponentially we have to analyze the situation well and see if historically there is any chance of a repeat or a further rise.

I believe in ethereum and what it represents, that's why for me it's the best time to buy, even though we've seen several dips throughout the year, I still believe that ethereum has a lot of potentials if they can fix their problems, so I plan to take a little more and take advantage of the FUD that is spreading.

Thanks for suggesting worldcoinindex, I've been following those pages and really like them Like coinmarketcap but live updates without refresh. It also has a blockfolio like a page where you can enter each of your coins and it will list their total worth (similar to livecoinwatch).

I don't know what people's desperation is, a few years ago this coin wasn't even worth 5$ and now because it goes down a bit in the last few weeks everyone loses their heads, I think we have to be patient and remember that we're not only here for money, we're here because we support this new technology and everything it can provide.

Re: What is the mission of crypto?
by
devilman59
on 13/08/2018, 22:00:05 UTC
I believe that cryptos, in general, started as a project to support anonymity in the market and avoid third parties in any kind of transactions, of course, this has evolved with the launch of new currencies and new uses, for example ETH is used more as a platform than as a currency for transactions, in the coming years we will see RIpple also taking advantage of the financial system and adapt with banks in a very interesting union and so there are hundreds of coins with almost infinite uses.
