Not at all. That's not a good idea at all.
Op is offering something which will do him some good by getting some money, but it is harming the some one's future. They will get their assignments done by paying some money but when in real exam, they will just fail.

Plus, if the institution comes to know of this, they may take disciplinary action against the student too.

In the past I have observed many people came with similar services but not seeing anyone sustaining. Probably parents and institutions might not prefer availing such services.

I agree with you 100%
This is for people who are too 'busy' to do their assignments.
I have a couple of friends who study in the U.S. who have a hard time balancing assignments and work.
This is for those people.
I highly encourage people to do their own assignments and gain knowledge by themselves if possible.

Re: [Suggestion] Welcome PM for newbies

I am for this a 100%.
When I first joined this forum, I was soo confused and I had no idea about the rules of the forum.
If there was a PM for me as soon as I joined then I am sure that I would have read the rules and figured stuff out. Cheesy
What exactly were you confused about?  There are whole threads devoted to spelling out all the rules here, and threads where people explain the rules to noobs.  All it takes is a modicum of willingness to read, but it seems most people here don't have the willingness or ability to do so.

I'd say most "new" accounts are alts, and a welcome PM would be wasted on them.  What they ought to do is lock the forum and not allow any new users.  Sounds harsh, but this place has turned into a cesspool of shitposters.

Well, as a beginner in the world of bitcoin, I was confused about a lot of stuff, but mostly the forum rules. It's just like when u install a software, you don't go looking for the terms of service, you just tick it. So, obviously, most new users wont go looking for the rules. You will have to make them available in an easy to notice place. Software Development 101.

Re: Yolodice API - HELP

You should first read the JSON RPC specification found here http://www.jsonrpc.org/specification
and then read the Yolodice API documentation.
I am sure that you will get it easily if you have experience with making JSON requests.

Re: Litecoin mining

As someone who tried mining Litecoin using a GPU just like you are planning to do, I would like to state that it is not worth it. Most people are using ASICs which can beat out any Graphics Card.
I ended up switching to mining Ethereum and Cryptonote currencies (mostly Monero) because that was more profitable without an ASIC.

So, my advice for you would be to either get an ASIC or switch to other currencies because LTC is not worth the effort with a graphics card.

EDIT: If you have this method... Then why the heck were you asking for a loan for 0.5-1 BTC here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1793844.msg17884836#msg17884836?

Good find herman. This is really a deal breaker.
But the question is why he would use escrow if he wants to scam us. XD
This is confusing.

Looking at the grammar in the website and the source code that suggests that it was copied from somewhere makes me think that this is a scam. Wouldn't use it.

Re: If you have to pay 10% or 20% extra will you still be using bitcoin?
by
divinemaniac
on 16/04/2017, 07:06:45 UTC
I do not think that many people will use bitcoin if that happens.
Most people use bitcoin for the convenience and if we are charged 10-20% more then it will no longer be a convenient payment option i guess.

Re: Segwit JS activation countdown widget?
by
divinemaniac
on 16/04/2017, 07:04:23 UTC
hmm. I don't thing that there is an exact time of when Segwit will be activated. Thus, there should not be a way to make a countdown for it.
But, you could have a JS app which looks at how many % of miners/nodes are signalling SegWit.

But it is kind of strange that you created an account just to talk about Hiribi since you don't have any other posts here.

I would personally go with Ethereum. But, because Litecoin is so much like Bitcoin, I would also go for Litecoin.
I guess 2 is better than 1 XD

Re: Even now in 2017, why is bitcoin *still* not accepted as a major currency?
by
divinemaniac
on 06/04/2017, 02:12:15 UTC
Bitcoin is not developed enough to be a real currency. As others have stated, it is more of a commodity.
Because of it's volatile nature, it is very very risky to use to as a major currency because something that costs $5 today might cost like $10, $20 even tomorrow.

On top of that, the general public who have no technical knowledge wont be able to use bitcoin unless more people get into development and more elegant and user friendly solutions are developed.

Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method.
by

This is really great news. If a country like Japan, which has a huge impact on the world, includes bitcoin in their law, then it is sure to draw attention from other countries and law makers. Cheesy
This gives me hope about the future of bitcoin Cheesy
