The AppConnect Token:

Any app can launch branded tokens on open scalable side-chains, powered by AppConnect, a protocol for consumer-app tokenization and an ERC-20 utility token.

Like so many others, we’ve been enthralled with the technical elegance and vast potential of blockchain technology. Yet we recoil from the recent hype, speculative excess and occasional fraud associated with cryptocurrencies. Early last year, we started exploring how to use this technology to build a branded economy within Pepo, the social advice company that our team had founded. We found that the possible applications of cryptocurrencies for business are even more powerful than we thought, but the process of creating one is complex, expensive, and fraught with risk. Why do all this just for ourselves, we asked, when we could build a set of tools that is needed by many companies?

AppConnect will fill that need, empowering any company — from a global brand to an emerging app maker — to issue what we call “branded tokens” that can transform its business into a dynamic economic ecosystem. No complex programming. No perilous ICO. No cross looks from regulators. We take care of all the hard work. Using Simple Token is designed to be as easy as accepting credit cards by integrating with an online payment service like Stripe or PayPal.

The AppConnect Project contains 3 core elements:

1. AppConnect [“APPC”] is an ERC20 token.
2. The Simple Token software enables companies to launch and manage their own branded token economies based on Simple Token.

The business and technical challenge we set out to solve is to enable mainstream consumer applications to benefit from deploying their own branded crypto-backed token economies, in a scalable and cryptographically auditable manner, without needing to mint and maintain their own publicly-tradeable ERC20 tokens.

The OpenAPPC protocol enables the creation of utility tokens on a utility blockchain while the value of those tokens is backed by staked crypto-assets on a value blockchain.

APPC is a utility token, and not a security, as supported by legal opinions in all relevant jurisdictions. The OpenAPPC protocol will be in use prior to the public token sale on 11/28 and a proof and demonstration shall be Provided. Any developer can use the OpenAPPC protocol immediately. Token Sale Details:

80 million AppConnect Tokens will be created. This is a finite supply.
30% of the token supply will be sold in this first token sale
20% of the token supply reserved as grants for promising projects
30% of the token supply locked in smart contracts and reserved for future token sales
20% AirDrop
The public token sale will be 28 November, 2017 for a maximum of 7 days, until the hard cap of $5 million is hit.
Pre-registration opens November 14th, 2017. You must be pre-registered and approved in order to be Whitelisted for the Early Access sale on 28 November.
While pre-registering you will be able to reserve your own unique Branded Token name before anyone else gets it. Your Branded Token reservation will be complete once you finalize your purchase. All Branded Token launches will require approval from the OpenACCP foundation and proper trademark rights.

hmmm, took a look at the website. Project looks pretty interesting. I will have to keep my eye on it and see how it progresses. The ICO world definitely needs something like this.

Same man. I saw you on here all the time. I wasn't as active posting after the first few months, but was always on here too. Markus had the know-how, it was that he was just way to busy to dedicate the time needed to this whole project. On top of that, it seemed he never read any suggestions or wanted any kind of help. Now, I am not sure if there is even a huge market for something like this, supposing it did come back or another coin did something similar.

The official blockchain explorer doesn't even work. The site hasn't been updated since October of last year. No news from twitter. Markus went AWOL and hasn't logged on since January. I'm not sure the program or wallet is even reliable anymore since there has not been any updates. My belief is that this pump and dump partly involved Fyrs finally cashing out whatever he had left. Quatloo, at this point, is basically a meme coin that had an interesting premise. I really did believe in Quatloo back then, but it fell apart.

I agree. I couldn't believe it when I saw just how low it was. Love or hate quatloo one has to admit it has a purpose and goals it accomplished. There are coins with more market cap that have absolutely no future and nothing going for them whatsoever that have long since been abandoned. To me quatloo has basically flown under the radar and has never really gained a lot of exposure. I also am inclined to believe the average person doesn't really even know exactly how to use the trading program. It's possible that if there are just absolutely basic and professional tutorials made it could mean very good things for the future of qtl. 

Agreed. I have thought for awhile the OP desperately needs to be updated. Seriously "Quatoo" third word in the post isn't even spelled right. At least for me clicking on the pools it seems most of them are not even operational anymore. I believe there are more articles written about Quatloo as well. I know the trader is a separate thread, but I think it would be nice to reference all the tutorial videos that have been made in the OP. QTL is now on CRYPTOPIA as well.

Damn I held millions of this coin when it was in the 20-30 satoshi range. Eventually sold for only a minor profit because I pretty much saw no future with this coin. And I kept looking at the coinmarketcap chart seeing it just never recovered from that initial pump till now. To be honest I still don't see a future anymore, but congrats to all those people that held on.

This is great, but on the another end seems so insurmountable. If all the votes were paid, unless my math is off, it would cost around $900 to get 20,000 votes. Even then it seems it doesn't guarantee it gets listed.
