Re: Are US Residents not eligible for all bounty campaigns?

Well, from what I understand, when you get paid as part of a bounty program, it's basically like you are part of the ICO, except they are giving you the coins/tokens in exchange for the work you did promoting their ICO.

Unless being paid bounty is technically different than ICO, which I would be glad, because I would like to start earning some bounties.

Are US Residents not eligible for all bounty campaigns?
by

I just realized that most of the bounty reward tokens would be considered to be ICOs. Does that mean all bounty campaigns are not willing to let US residents participate?

I don't believe there are any rules against participating in multiple twitter bounty campaigns simultaneously, unless like you said, the rules specifically forbid it.

I believe many members are currently promoting multiple campaigns without any trouble.

I wish I could say with absolute certainty one way or the other. Traditional investing advice would say that due to the market's recent decline, now would be a good time to enter. The lower the market has fallen when you enter, the less risk you are exposing yourself to.

There is, however, always the chance that the dip will continue indefinitely. I am optimistic that although we may not see the massive gains of late 2017, that the total crypto market will continue to rise.

Re: Scam ICOs

Most people would recommend:

1. Reading the whitepaper
2. Checking the professional profiles (LinkedIn) of the team
3. Checking social media for any relevant news

I have read also that large ICO % bonuses or very large overall bounty campaigns can be a sign that the ICO is a scam. If it looks too good to be true.....you know what they say.

Do you know any website doing good review on icos? At least it helps when doing reserch.

I'm sure there are some good ones out there. The thing with crypto is that there is so much false information and rumors being spread its hard to know who to trust sometimes. I always wonder what kind of agenda a crypto review site may have when giving a positive review of an ICO. Is it possible they are getting kick backs from the ICO?

The information revolving around the internet affects the coin prices so much....in the end you'll either have to rely on someone you think its trustworthy or do the fact digging yourself. I am sometimes guilty of just wanting profit instead of doing actual research, its so easy to get caught up in the mania of crypto.

Re: Which coin do you like best except bitcoin? Litecoin?DOGE coin?

In terms of stability Litecoin is a relatively safe investment — as far as crypto goes, that is. Very quick transaction times and low fees and widely traded on exchanges.

Never gets the media exposure of Bitcoin but is one of the few truly legitimate coins.

If you have a reasonable amount of money invested in crypto I would invest in a hardware wallet like a Trezor or Ledger Nano. If you want to be really, really safe you can put your crypto in cold storage, but if you are moving your funds around regularly this would not be a very convenient option.

Re: How to send bitcoin Quickly?

Recently I have sent a amount of bitcoin to a address.Already 3 days have passed didn't arrive. Is there any way to send btc more faster.

Yes there is. Next time, use a higher transaction fee. It the transaction fee is too low, which in your case it seems like it is, no one will want to mine (process) that transaction so it may be stuck indefinitely.

If you send with proper transaction fees, which as of right now around averaging around $25, the transaction should be confirmed in about 30min to an hour.

Re: Ethereum transaction sent for an ICO (fail and canceled)

Pretty sure its because the transaction didn't use enough gas (fees). The ETH should still be in your wallet, shouldn't have gone anywhere as the transaction failed.

Cointracking.info is not technically a mobile app but you can view it on your phone and it updates values for all cryptos daily. Very advanced tool for crypto portfolio tracking and analytics.

Re: Long term investing - Newbie question

Thank you.
I've heard bad things about coinbase. I use localbitcoins.
I go from BTC to ETH to the crypto's I want to purchase?

I was informed to only trade in BTC and not local currencies due to losses etc. So BTC to Huh coin, not GBP to XRP etc.

If you want to buy other cryptos, which many people refer to collectively as "altcoins," you will need either BTC or ETH to purchase them with. Most altcoins trade against BTC and ETH. So usually people will buy BTC with cash in their local currency, and then send BTC into an exchange to trade for altcoins.

Some altcoins can be bought directly with fiat (regular money) on some exchanges, but you usually are required to go through a lengthy verification process with the exchange.

In my personal experience Coinbase has been very easy to use, it's one of the easiest way to purchase BTC/ETH/LTC, only thing though is that you will have to wait over a week until you actually have the crypto in your wallet. You can also do an instant buy with a debit/credit card for smaller amounts of crypto that are available to use instantly.

Unfortunately you'll have to go back and edit them manually. All the airdrops are run by their respective ICOs, there is no "master" Google Docs spreadsheet with all the airdrops you've registered for — unless you've been keeping your own. I just started and am already losing track of what I registered for as well, so I will need to keep up my records also.

It can be a bit overwhelming at first. I assume that you are interested in investing/purchasing bitcoin? Or were you just wanting to learn more about the underlying technology?

Here is a good link to the basics of bitcoin that isn't too technical: https://blockgeeks.com/guides/what-is-bitcoin/
