I am curious to see how that changes and dominates the market or if people really don't invest and it changes the whole climate a little bit. I would risk 270 usd just to see if it can really do 4500 Mhash/s but i wouldnt give it anymore than that then ride the wave

I talked to the owner of butterfly labs today and he informed me you buy a rig today you would have it by July? So not sure what you are saying. I know there are a lot of folks that are pissed at him because he keeps pushing the date, i know it says end of April 2013 and he didn't really confirm that either. Found out just on accident its down the road from where i dwell lol

Difficulty rating setup - clarification

On the worker reg site when logged in their is a difficulty rating. I am speculating that most of the new people at this time just have some decent 1 to 2 graphics cards' in their gaming rigs and want to see if they can earn a little extra coin. Most of us would have overclocking down etc but the ultimate response they are all looking for is...... is this worth my time - ware and tear on my equipment to go through with it.

At a 600 Mhash/s average rate will i be getting 3 bucks a day avg at bitcoincz or .03 cents just a straight forward answer would be nice.

I thought i ran across one during research. It was fairly straight forward and just gave you an average without the 18 million other variables. Worked like the example below

avg of 300 Mhash/s = daily pay out of $ usd ?

I don't think their is a clear answer yet. These last two weeks have shaken up the entire structure and butterflylabs will be putting in their rigs soon but their competitors already have theirs in place. It's all a dice game, I would say don't invest what you are not willing to lose and make the best of it.

I maybe Nieve bhere being new and all but it would seem keeping bitcoins if you are based out of the US is a huge risk in a very volatile market. Why not flip each bitcoin for guaranteed backed usd cash regardless of the market rate. That's just my philosophy to mitigate risk?

For instance i know the rate used to be above 200 usd then it cut in half last week when i jumped in at 120 then it fell to 50 then back up to 90s at the time of this post. I wouldn't horde btc. If i was able to flip 1 a week even at the price of 90 usd then move that to my say Roth IRA you release all the risk. Are people really buying these low and holding them hoping the value goes back up and selling them high? What if you were holding on to a 100 BTC would you not rather take the 90 guaranteed then to risk it all being worth zero as a possibility hours later?

I have a ATI 6950 running 840 MHz , Mem 1325 MHz little voltage boost from 1100 to 1150 and keeping cool at about 140deg F. My hash rate on GUIMiner and the default slush's pool miner drop down with all the DDoS attacks been running right at 271.4 Mhash/s consistent. I too am working on getting more bang for my buck.

Just now trying to find a decent electric usage app
