With so many new coins being released, and people moving from coin to coin like a mob, what do you think is the best way for DigiByte to break away from the pack?
We feel that focusing on getting DigiPay up and running and a few big merchants accepting DigiByte is what will allow for this to happen. What are your thoughts?
Digibyte can maybe tap into the Chinese market perhaps try and get onto bter.com exchange
Try getting like a 100GH then worry about ASIC...now they can even be bothered to mine Digibyte...
Prioritize your resources and focus on getting more acceptance for DGB instead.
low hash is more of a reason to worry, not less. Imagine if supporters of other coins purchased a number of scrypt asics & went around attacking other coins with 51% attack with the purpose of killing them off. The threat is there if KnC gets anywhere near their estimated performance. My view might be seen as a bit tin foil hat material, but given the number of hacks/scams out there I think there are surely a few people who have the will & skill required to exploit such technology in order to kill off competition to the coins they personally hold.
Perhaps if they have nothing better to do with their hashrate...
My point is that DGB is realistically a very low value target...from Coinmarketcap. 66 DigiByte $ 208,648 $ 0.00025 831,609,970 DGB $ 3,307
The coin is not Chinese, American, or European, and is not intended to be the national currency of any country/tribe. Our Dev Team gave the CaisShen it's name because it stands for prosperity, something every coin should achieve if the team behind it is committed to it's success.
Perhaps you should call it Prosperity Coin...ticker PRC

Probably not. The word Ponzi has a very negative connotation. Literally looks like a literal transparent ponzi though.
Honestly, these pyramid scheme so-called "gambling site" are a scam and only the site owner is real winner. They start at a low amount, and rely on Person B buying the lot from Person A (note: site owner does not have to make the any investment) and the unlucky Person X loses his entire amount (which can be rather large) and the site eats that amount. Honestly the hosting and w/e costs nothing compared to just taking lots over a period of a month.
Except that in this case it doesn't look like a pyramid scheme. Max loss per person is 50,000 doge.
And site owner makes money if he suddenly refuse to pay. Or he place money into the pot as well to get the 20%. For him it is risk free.
I sent a couple thousand. Basically, you send up to Ð50,000 and you will receive 120% back from those who send doge after you. If the scheme receives no doges for 24 hours, game over.

Would it be a good idea to have something like this for DGB?
And that ladies and gentlemen, is why we need to get ourselves on BTC38!
VTC seems to appeal to a different crowd those looking beyond scrypt ASIC...but the upcoming pandacoin seems to try to incorporate everything...Dodge that is ASIC proof?
But with 3 billion coins pre-mined...the rest of us miners will have to slog it out just to get a fraction of that. I don't know if it will be worth the hashes.
