Re: The future of Bitcoin
by
donpepot
on 14/03/2018, 12:36:29 UTC
I would like to start a discussion about the future of Bitcoin.
The following is my prognosis
The future of Bitcoin
After vears of trying to break the blockchain technology that runs Bitcoin, the bankers and governements finally realized that because blockchiain was a public ledger that kept all transaction and that this ledger could not be hacked or falsified; Bitcoin could not be stopped or blocked. Like email, and i-porn, it used the internet highway and without destroying the internet and its highways of communication, the blockchain technology could not be blocked.

The banks and governments decided on another plan called “f you can`t beat them, join them”. They decided that their only chance was to buy up all the Bitcoins. They started small and encouraged Bitcoin`s price to drop by demanding regulation, not realizing that the blockchain is just a public ledger that can not be regulated. The threat of regulation caused the price of Bitcoin to drop, and when the banks and government thought that the price of Bitcoin would not go any lower, they started to buy up Bitcoins. When people realized that the banks and governments were buying up the Bitcoins, the price of Bitcoins soared in an avalanche. This made banks and governments very rich.

Bitcoin became to be used as electronic money that could not be falsified or tampered with and that could be used as electronic cash replacing coins and notes. The banks and governments started to encourage the use of Bitcoin and replaced their coins and notes with Bitcoins. Then they replaced their plastic credit cards with chips that were implanted and that allowed money transactions to be made much faster and conveniently than with Bitcoin. They made their own centralized and regulated version of Bitcoin and called it i-coin.

After i-coin became convincingly more appealing than Bitcoin, i-coin became widely accepted. Bitcoin became outdated and old fashioned and the price of Bitcoin started to drop. Then there came a time where the only ones that were using Bitcoins were the ones that were afraid of the chip implants, and those that were afraid of the corrupt banks.
Then the corrupt criminals got on the Bitcoin bandwagon, and Bitcoins started to be outlawed in many countries. The decentralized Bitcoin miners - the keepers of the public ledger - became scarcer and scarcer and were overtaken by centralized criminal miners.

Bitcoin became what it started out as-. electronic cash for buying illegal goods. Eventually, the criminals took it over to use as their own black cash for trading one illegal good for another. This caused a boom in illegal goods, and made the criminals very wealthy.

But without panic sellers and fake new believers how can we make profit and at the same time buy Bitcoin at a cheaper price again? I hate to say this but there is absolutely no way to avoid having these kinds of people as if there are no people like them the market won't be balance, I would even say it would be abnormal. Even if we try to educate all of them, their psychology will always be different to what we believe in. So if they want to change they must do it personally in order not to be part of the losing group.
The sharp recovery in prices on CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI) from the Friday's low of $7,695 ran into offers at a high of $9,471.46 at 21:59 UTC on Saturday.

It seems panic sell is over and bitcoin is recovering.
I just want to say thanks for allowing me and others to buy bitcoin at cheaper price.
Again   Cheesy

Let this remind you to not blindly follow fake news and fud. Be strong and cool in head.
Its inevitable for bitcoin or even other crypto currencies to fall of its price, specially now that lots of issues are raoring from other countries about the digital currency and its bad news that affects bitcoin.Predictions may not be 100% accurate but i do believe that bitcoin will recover from its sudden fall, maybe ...

The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

Yes because a News reports indicate that bitcoins are being used in the country. The Costa Rican Central Bank announced that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are not consider currencies, and are not backed by the government nor laws. However, they are not illegal.

You can trust the Chinese in China to continue buying up the coins and driving up demand.
Panic selling may occur after a sudden, sharp decline in the price of a security. Panic selling does not involve an evaluation of the fundamentals of a stock or market conditions. Rather, it is usually the result of an emotional reaction and fear, causing sellers to want to get out of an investment without regard to the price or cost.

Bitcoin for now.
When do think the bitcoin will run last?
Is bitcoin's volatility normal?
What is your idea about this?

What do you mean by run last. If you are talking about how deep it will go i think it is over the price is recovering as of this writing. I think it will hit again the $12,000 resitance and go down again to the $8,000-$9000 range  for the last time then it have a bull run.

Yes this is very normal at this market, do not be surprised. prices movement at the crypto market moves really fast.
Digital currencies took another step lower Thursday as momentum from the previous day's selloff proved tough to overcome. The price of the No. 1 digital currency, bitcoin BTCUSD, +3.15% plummeted to a three-week low of $9,075.87 and is now down more than 20% this week.

Re: FINANCIAL TIPS
by
donpepot
on 11/03/2018, 13:05:45 UTC
That’s timely as the bitcoin price is lower and opportunity for small investors is bigger, if only they follow such advices to help them to priorities investment. This three tips can be a life changer for regular employee who struggle to survive in our country. Spending beyond what we need and just what we wanted to, is one reason we can’t save. This attitude should change.
Start an Emergency Fund
One of personal finance's oft-repeated mantras is "pay yourself first." No matter how much you owe in student loans or credit card debt, and no matter how low your salary may seem, it's wise to find some amount - any amount - of money in your budget to save in an emergency fund every month.

Having money in savings to use for emergencies can really keep you out of trouble financially and help you sleep better at night. Also, if you get into the habit of saving money and treating it as a non-negotiable monthly "expense," pretty soon you'll have more than just emergency money saved up: you'll have retirement money, vacation money and even money for a home down payment.

Don't just sock away this money under your mattress; put it in a high-interest online savings account, a certificate of deposit or a money market account. Otherwise, inflation will erode the value of your savings.

Cashing out through Coins.ph lets you directly claim funds out of your wallet or send money to anyone in the Philippines via bank transfer, cash pickup, mobile money, or door-to-door delivery.

Here are the steps:

1) Choose the cash-out option that is most convenient for you.

Note that if you cash out through a remittance outlet before 10 am on a regular business day, you will receive it on the same day. Outside of that, you will receive the cash in your chosen outlet on the next business day.

*For more urgent cashouts, we recommend using our coinsXpress option – Cardless ATM Instant Payout, Globe GCash or through Express Cash Pick-up (via Cebuana Lhuillier).

2) Within each option, you can select the specific payout method. If you choose 'Bank' for example, you can select any bank where you or your recipient can conveniently get the cash.

3) Enter the amount that you want to cash out. Transfers to your bank have zero fees, unless it's a branch outside Metro Manila.

4) Enter recipient details and the bank account number, then click 'Complete payment.' The funds will be transferred from your wallet to the chosen account once we have processed your cash out.

5) Lastly, choose which wallet you would use to fund your transaction and enter your verification code. Click pay to successfuly place your order.

Re: How to increase Merit?
by

on 09/03/2018, 11:41:37 UTC
If you want to increase your merit, you better start and make sure that you will be able to construct quality posts that are definitely helpful not just spam posts. You can read more information about the Merit and sMerit in the "META" section of this forum.

It might be hard to earn merits not Totally because of your capacity to construct quality post or capacity to research and contribute knowledge in the forum, but possibly because of too many spam posts to a certain topic making your own post overlapped by other member so your post gets overlooked. But there are some members here who provide service to review post if it deserves a merit. If you believe that you have made a post that is probably helpful and deserves merit then you can try them to check out if they will accept it or not.

Also beware of merit trading because it is prohibited and you can get punished if you get caught by somebody.
Merig increase when Salary increases are granted to eligible employees in career positions based upon their job performance. Merit eligibility is contingent upon completing three months of service.

Re: How to Make Money in Crypto

There are many ways to earn some money in this crypto, first of all is trading. Trading is the best way to earn in bitcoin but you need capital of money when it comes to trading in cryptocurrency. Other than trading  is mining. Mining needs capital too but your capital will buy more gpu to have a great amount of mining, big gpus big mining that you get. Next is joining bounty campaigns in alternate cryptocurrency. Here you need skills to joined in the ICO, in orfer to have income you will able to find your job that you will joining. Just choose and you will have a great amount of money in the future.
For me is Micro Jobs
Micro jobs are small tasks that can be completed for small amounts of Bitcoin. Websites such as Coinworker offer such tasks, which may involve simply testing a plugin to see if it is successfully compatible with a browser, or just retweeting a post. Again, the money is small but there is potential to earn a little bit more than the faucets of PTC websites.

Customer is the lifeblood of the business, so it is very important that we should know first our customers, our market before putting up a business. We can encounter different kinds of customers everyday, whether it is a bad or a good customer so it is a must that we should know what kind of customers we are going to face and encounter when the time we have a business already.
The Know Your Client form is a standard form in the investment industry that ensures investment advisors know detailed information about their clients' risk tolerance, investment knowledge and financial position. KYC forms protect both clients and investment advisors.

Well to make money in cryptoone of the best is Bitcoin Faucets
A Bitcoin faucet is a type of website that gives away small amounts of Bitcoin to its users, with owners making money by placing ads on their website and pay individuals who visit the ads or complete surveys. This industry amounts of over 50% of the traffic on leading Bitcoin websites today. Faucets let visitors earn a percentage of the Bitcoin that they give away to any visitors that you brought in. This has resulted in users using a Bitcoin faucet rotator that allows users to quickly surf different faucets and earn a commission through rotation links for each faucet visited by you. However, similar to PTC websites, Bitcoin faucets are not a realistic way to earn good money, with even the best faucet rotators being applied still only enabling users to make no more than $1-2 per day.

I found this an interesting interview about the history of money and debt.
 Check it out.

What is Debt? – An Interview with Economic Anthropologist David Graeber

Quote
David Graeber currently holds the position of Reader in Social Anthropology at Goldsmiths University London. Prior to this he was an associate professor of anthropology at Yale University. He is the author of ‘Debt: The First 5,000 Years’ which is available from Amazon.

Interview conducted by Philip Pilkington, a journalist and writer based in Dublin, Ireland.

Philip Pilkington: Let’s begin. Most economists claim that money was invented to replace the barter system. But you’ve found something quite different, am I correct?

David Graeber: Yes there’s a standard story we’re all taught, a ‘once upon a time’ — it’s a fairy tale.
Debt is money owed by one party, the borrower or debtor, to a second party, the lender or creditor. The borrower may be a sovereign state or country, local government, company, or an individual.

Re: Loans too risky?
by
donpepot
on 07/03/2018, 12:30:11 UTC
Well assuming what you just said, is true, of course giving out loans is risky. It's like you gamble with your money in order to get 1 or 2% on top of it either in short or long terms and with the tendency of losing your money in case the guy who got the loan, doesn't return it. You could by some mining equipment's and contribute to the network as well and see the long term profit if you could manage and balance everything well.
Loans maybe too risky for those people who don't know to process loans or how to this process. Loans are not risky unless if you do the right thing and you know what are you doing with your loans.
