It really is a little baffling where these people develop such a fervent belief in the flat earth.   I mean, not even the bible says the earth is flat... So is it some particularly charismatic speaker?  Some compelling book?  Is it simply bandwagon propaganda?

They don't want to be convinced.  You will not reach them as you are in a different 'dimension' of reality.  You are operating on logic and they are operating on the pride of their beliefs, which dominates their thinking on this issue.

And saying the earth is flat because Nasa lied about the moon is equally stupid.

You can easily verify this with your own eyes with a telescope. Departing ships
DO sink over the horizon (not just get smaller), and the sun DOES set over
the horizon (not just get smaller)...and no amount of zoom will make them
visible.

I am guess you will not verify this for yourself because you're more interested
in your beliefs than the truth.  You are too attached to being right about this.

Because the arguments are extremely weak.

The only one that even remotely makes sense is the evidence that the moon landing
is fake (and I agree:  I believe the moon landing was fake).

But you cannot jump from "Nasa lied" all the way to "the earth is flat" because
one thing doesn't imply the other.   

It's a ridiculous non sequitor.  It would be the equivalent of saying "we know the
9/11 towers were a controlled demolition, therefore there's no such thing as airplanes."

How can the earth be flat when we see the sun setting?
Most flat earthers say the sun is much closer and smaller
and is simply moving away from the earth, but if that is
the case, why has no one ever been able to produce
video evidence of watching the sun set a second time
using a zoom lense?

 
Even IF the earth was flat, to the person that believes
the earth is round, "down" is always toward the center
of the earth, so everything (including water) will flow
'downhill' locally but can and does 'bend around the planet'
because at each point, it IS at the lowest level.

Are you too thick to understand that this is fully consistent
with a round-earth model of reality?  And that you cannot
disprove that model by pointing out that an aspect of
it doesn't jive with YOUR model of reality?

It really shows the power of belief. That is how strong the mind is, people

There's no atmosphere in space.  Even on Earth, the higher up you go, the less air there is.   
Nasa probably has lied many times, doesn't mean the earth isn't round.

actually in some of the videos they do if you look closely. keep in mind clouds move about 50mph... ISS is moving at 17,000 mph
and you're seeing big structures at a very zoomed out view.

but just out of curiousity, question for all you flat earthers , what reason/benefit would there be for anyone to lie about the shape of the planet?
