I'm new to this forum and am hoping to clarify a few items. (Note - I don't own any VERI at this time).
1. How many folks here own VERI with the expectation that the price will increase in value vs own VERI for actual use on the Veritaseum platform?
- Isn't it likely that if most are purchasing with the expectation of an increase in price then the SEC will eventually consider VERI a security?
2. If VERI is used on the platform, what happens to the VERI tokens when redeemed? (If there are approx 2MM tokens in circulation and I redeem 10 for product/service do the 10 tokens redeemed stay in circulation?)
3. If the total supply of VERI is 100MM, at current approx price of $150 the value of the Veritaseum platform is approx $1.5 billion. That seems like a high value but I may be missing something.

your new in this forum. so first read through the last 50 pages of this forum and you have your answers.
every time the price of veri rises on etherdelta, the big sell walls come in. for the moment this seems enough to reverse the rise. after the price reverses they remove the walls.

Yeah *wink* none of us in the USA *winkwink* checked the "I'm not an American citizen" box and bought the AdEx tokens during its ICO this morning ... I've heard AdEx is already selling for 25x and tokens haven't even been released yet of course ... they hit the 40k ETH hard cap in 8 hours and ICO is done ... you guys who don't follow @Clif_High on Twitter are really missing out ... AdEx was a freebie 24 hours before the ICO started since we are not getting the next Wealth Report until 7/5 ... got in this morning with 30% first day bonus so 1,100+ AdEx for 1 ETH
And Clif doesn't buy the tokens he recommends so that he stays objective ... but he's sure going to raise the price of his Wealth Reports as he should

got the rep where veritas was mentioned first. but still would have missed, if not for jsnp4 and his video. also threw some eth at adex.and thank you reggie, again. i feel like i would cling to a rocket ready to take off to the moon.

i send a request to gatecoin out of hong kong. they sell btc, eth and some smaller eth token. i recently registered there and it was easy. verification for tier 1 was fast, which is importent atm. i wait for kraken, poloniex and bittrex tier update since weeks without any notice.
i think a mid tier exchange is better as a next step. the bigger ones will follow if successful.

The best advice I can give is to build a product that has strong (organic) market demand.
As you can see, there is merit to drivimg more volume and traffic to the decentralized Etherdelta. I first petitioned Poloniex at the cloaenof the ICO and again just recently.
Volume on Etherdelta is about 3 to 4 thousand ETH daily, $750k to $1M in VERI
