Hey there! I haven't looked in here for a while now... what's the current situation with your project? Have you made any progress yet? In my opinion, you shouldn't do without editing and proofreading - even the best professional authors have to swear by them ;-) There's always something to tweak about a text... but it's also important to let it "be" at some point... two or three revisions is the minimum, I'd say.

I think most people who enjoy writing also enjoy reading other authors' books. It is simply something special to be able to immerse oneself in the thought worlds of other people through texts. And through the same medium to be able to offer other people the opportunity to dive into a world that you yourself have created. That one does something like this not only for oneself and has no interest in having one's book published, is something I can only imagine for very few authors. Most of those who finish their book probably want to see it published successfully. That you can only try, but not force, I also see so. But in the meantime there are so many different possibilities that there should be something for everyone who seriously wants to do it.

Joining creative writing classes is a great idea! I've also noticed that publishers specifically targeting new authors offer such workshops. That could also be very interesting.
It's also not just about "why" you write, but also "for whom" - you should always have a specific target group in mind. This is important for all areas in the book.
And as is said here - writing a book is a lot of hard work and usually takes a long time. Professional help is usually indispensable..

When I envision my readers, I don't have a unified group in mind. I think it's similar to those who are interested in cryptocurrencies. They are people of different nationalities, different ages, with very different lifestyles and professions. All of them are certainly interested in the future and new technologies. There are also no children and probably relatively few old people. I think that would also coincide with the target group I have in mind for my book.

Having a target group in front of your eyes is already important, I think... but that's just my personal assessment. You would have to ask around for experiences, for example from publishers. If you are interested in such workshops, then such questions will certainly be clarified there.
As you say, having beta readers would certainly be helpful to get constructive and broad feedback... of course you can also do this with friends and relatives - but it is important that "professional" people take a look at it so that you get really broad (and honest!) feedback.
Have you already planned the next steps?

i'm curious to see how Ethereum develops further, now that they supposedly want to be so power efficient... that certainly goes down well these days....

It is anyway grad difficult times... what surprises me is that Bitcoin has lost sooo much value and inflation has also worked rather badly - although it was said that crypto would be good with inflation... or what do you think?

you have to keep in mind that you can't just write a book during a vacation... unless you're on vacation for months now, if not years :-) so I don't know to what extent you want to write a book... is it just for you or for friends and relatives or do you really want to publish it professionally? You'll have to come up with a plan - but you do, I see… at least thinking of one… :-)
If you don't have any experience with writing, I would also recommend workshops at special publishers for new authors. There you can learn a lot and avoid going in the wrong direction all the time... The professionals can help you in time and save you a lot of work when you think you're done with your book....
What is it about, if you don't mind me asking?

Today bitcoin is at its lowest level in 1.5 years - ohoh, bad times ahead if you ask me! Cheesy No, kidding aside... I'm not worried about that. I think there will be a new all time high in a year.

Re: Most undervalued cryptocurrencies in 2022 - your opinions?

Hello everyone, thank you again for the many responses.

$anounimus$, ETH is pretty far down right now, but was already very high up and has really almost a coin for itself without depending on BTC, in my opinion. That would have given the whole market a new momentum. Now it has unfortunately lost importance again. I hope that something will happen again soon.

Hichamito37, yes, I'm still thinking about whether I should get in or not... in the last 2 weeks it has gone down even further. I'm just afraid that at some point a limit will be reached, where it then falls even more quickly down... and there is not much room for “manoeuvre” there.

Asriloni, I also find metaverse undervalued. I have also invested there (even with staking) - unfortunately, it has also gone down sharply, but I hope that it will still open.

Right-as-rain, that sounds exciting. I also believe that the next big thing will require something smaller than cryptocurrency. Anyway, this democratic approach stands out from the other methods like proof of work.

DoublerHunter, I wouldn't invest in something that hardly anyone has invested in yet... who knows if that's not a scam... often the currency simply disappears from the market and you're left empty-handed. You should invest in something that is at least somewhat established.

I would buy a used car, but I don't know much about it, and I would definitely take someone who knows more about cars than me. They can then better assess whether the price is justified or not.

Hello everyone, thank you for the many responses.
I see that the topic seems to be of interest to many of you/us. Cheesy
Of course everyone has their own opinions and no one can see into the future, but I still find it exciting to read about your ideas!
I actually find these innovative blockchains quite interesting. Also this democratic approach you guys mentioned. Do you think that will play more of a role in the future?
And just to clarify: I don't want to invest a fortune in undervalued cryptocurrencies, because you never know how that will turn out - but I do think that if you are looking and searching carefully for some investments, you can find good coins as well... How they develop remains to be seen anyway.

i just read yesterday that a crypto expert (i don't know if he named himself that haha) believes that bitcoin will eventually reach $500,000...well i'm curious.... I am now more interested in "small" coins, because the potential is still much greater, I think...

Most undervalued cryptocurrencies in 2022 - your opinions?
by

on 21/05/2022, 08:03:57 UTC
Hello everyone - lately I'm interested in the crypto market and would like to get in... I know it's very volatile at the moment, but I think the entry point could be quite well at the moment, because a lot is currently underperformed and yes also bearmarket…
But I don't really want to get into the big currencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum... maybe you have other tips and recommendations, hence the question: What are the most undervalued cryptocurrencies in 2022 - I am looking forward to hear/read your opinions? I'm already looking forward to it! Thanks in advance!

Bin gespannt, was ihr denkt!

Herzlich willkommen dragonb!

Cheesy
