When will FTX start paying out?
by
drawer
on 01/02/2025, 12:08:05 UTC
Does anyone know when FTX payments will be launched? The media is silent on this matter, and there is a lot of money in the form of USDT to be paid, which would drive the market up significantly, especially alts....

Re: ATOMIC WALLET SCAM

If you want to make a scam accusation, you should be clearer and give full details about what happened to you. Your post looks more like a personal attack on the wallet and not a scam report.

• Did someone send some weird "bitcoin" tokens to you?
• Were you expecting the said transaction
• Did you incur any loss in this process?
• Have you performed any activity that will put your address in the hands of scammers?

it's not my wallet, it's someone who asked me for help to explain this problem. whether this wallet was attacked before - I don't know, it's possible, but it's not about any attack now, but about the way Atomic shows the value of a non-existent token. I guess you won't tell me that someone attacked the wallet and CREATED such a fake token on it Smiley let's stick to the facts. from what I know, the person who has this wallet somehow bought this fake bitcoin - you can see some IN type transaction there, i.e. entering the eth network for this token. I'm not interested in the fact that a fraudster sold this supposedly bitcoin to someone - it's normal that there are a lot of such fake portals storing your crypto because you bought it and then you can't log in to such portals or they show false data and at the time of withdrawal it turns out to be impossible. . the point is that such a token is in the list of coins in the wallet!! what kind of shit is this, I'm asking, what kind of shit does the Atomic wallet itself allow? There is some token value shown in the supposedly Satoshi BTC form, but on the right there is no value in USD Smiley it's as if Atomic was taking part in this fraud by allowing someone to to such numbers and your wallet, giving the opportunity for fraudsters to operate..... below the hash of this virtual transaction...

ATOMIC WALLET SCAM
by
drawer
on 09/08/2024, 09:24:33 UTC
Hello, I would like to present the impudence of the atomic wallet developers and the forgery they use in the case of a certain virtual (in this case, really virtual) bitcoin token based on the eth network. The attached photos will show this scam, what is amazing is that atomic reports that the purchase or transfer transaction was registered online and provides the hash of this transaction, but there is no such transaction on etherscan at all Smiley it's amazing how after such a scandal as an internal hack probably your wallet, instead of closing the project and disappearing from the market, developers are still trying to cheat people. interestingly, this shit cannot be exchanged - swap option - because they do not list it in the official exchange Smiley insolence - an understatement. and yet as you can see, poor people fall for such things...

1. I don't think that exodus is a bad wallet, I have been keeping crypto on it for many years and there have been no problems, no attacks, nothing that would cause me to withdraw funds there, the developers care about their product and are really developing it in the right direction. Exodus team isn't Atomic development team Smiley
I agree that it seems pretty safe. I have used it and I have not encountered any problems when it comes to security or whatnot. Though I would have to argue that it’s probably not the best wallet to do other things with like staking for example.

Lido and Rocketpool are among those who I see are really recommended and they are also decentralized. Make an educated decision. This is just a simple observation.

2. Yes, I don't want to keep my wallet on my cell phone because I consider it much less secure than a regular, well-secured Windows laptop. Currently, mobile phones are extremely susceptible to various attacks and do not have the same protection as Windows or Linux ....
If you are very keen on using exodus then I’m pretty sure you can sync your device to your PC but I am not sure whether it will reflect the staking feature. You’re going to have to wait most probably.

Rocketpool 2.82% APR - it's a joke. Lido 3,2 - better. not best.

3. I was looking for a wallet that would allow staking without having to exchange eth for some other wrapped shit. This is what I am most afraid of, that such wrapped shit will suddenly lose its liquidity when it is suddenly replaced by users who will start selling eth massively during the bear market. exchanging eth for some other shit is pure idiocy, I recently showed it to binance - I had eth staked on WBETH there, and as it turned out, they suddenly withdrew this shit from the market, and you couldn't sell it on the fly, and then brazenly withdraw your WBETH and exchange it you had to wait for eth for several days or weeks until the system determined whether there was liquidity on the exchange and graciously returned the correct ETH coins to you. exodus does not exchange your eth for any other token as far as I know. Meta mask is a bit suspicious for me because it is a browser plug-in and not a stand-alone Windows application, which in itself is less safe for me.

Reseter for GPU miners - a collection of $ for the project
by
drawer
on 02/11/2022, 13:42:54 UTC
I am presenting a "reset" device used for self-resetting of cryptocurrency miners (GPU) based on the PC motherboard under construction. The device can
can also be used wherever there is a PC motherboard with pins corresponding to the power sw output.

 Principle of operation:

- The program checks the availability of a suitable host in the local network through a network command of the PING type. When there is no response to the PING command,
the appropriate sequence is executed which turns the computer / server on and off.
- the server must be network connected through the RJ45 connector to the local switch
- the server is additionally connected with a 2-wire low-voltage cable (e.g. telephone). On one side, the cable connects to one of the outputs of the relay module
and on the other, it connects to the server's motherboard directly to the pins with the MB output.
- the user sets the reseter's working parameters via the website

There are a bunch of devices out there that will do something like that by power cycling incoming voltage:

http://www.digital-loggers.com/lpc.html

There are a bunch of data center PDUs that can be hooked up to monitoring software that will check on multiple devices and do the same thing.
What is nice about using the PDU / power line reboot is that you can use it to reboot just about any miner out there.

Normally, I would say move this to the AltCoin mining section, but since the merge GPU mining has gone to shit, so perhaps changing the product to accommodate high voltage / amperage devices would be better.

-Dave
my device has much more possibilities to control the events of the relay short-circuit length, the time interval between the reset, time restarts and many other settings that such strips do not have

i heard from someone that anyone who use claymore up do 10.5 need to update do 10.6  ,what's the cause Huh

Have a look at the 1st post in this thread, he has a change log there and it will tell you what the changes are between 10.5 and 10.6.

ok i/ve read:

"Latest version is v10.6:

- fixed critical issue in remote management feature (attacker could crash miner even in read-only mode)."

its about -mport  option yes? so if somebody didn't used that option, older versions are safe ? correct ?
