Craig’s game is:

1. Get a UK court to order the Bitcoin Core developers to move the coins
2. Obviously that will fail.
3. Then take that order to his BSV fork
4. Convince the miners, devs and community of BSV to give him the Satoshi coins on BSV.
5. He makes millions and maybe cashes out just before BSV finally craters to zero.

Funny thing is Bitcoin is more of threat to USD when the USD is handled poorly. For example when the US government prints trillions and trillions more dollars than they can recover in tax revenue, thus inflating the currency.

Basically what Hillary wants is the ability for the Gov to mess around with the US dollar without a viable alternative for their citizens.

Bitcoin changes that landscape, allowing an alternative for when their citizens say enough is enough.

So conversely it’s the government’s mismanagement of the USD that makes Bitcoin attractive and gives it more power. Hell Satoshi likely built Bitcoin as response to runaway USD inflation and printing by central banks. Satoshi spoke about that around the inception of Bitcoin and made a great point about the inflation control built into Bitcoin at its core. Not just core code but core philosophy.

Bitcoin would have less power, less reason to exist if fiat currencies like the USD were managed in the best interest of the population and not in the best interest of government power and banks power.

If Craig Wright loses, he will have to pay Kleiman 500,000 Bitcoin or the usd value of that amount.

So it is entirely likely that Craig will owe billions in USD if he losses.

Then he will use his other court case in the UK to try and force the Bitcoin Core developers to move Satoshi’s coins so he can pay the fine and profit.

At most he might convince the BSV devs, miners and community (nodes) to allow him to "recover" Satoshi’s BSV coins. Of course that would collapse the BSV price even further to zero. Regarding short and medium term price movements, no one ever knows, and anyone saying otherwise is a loon.

Long term the trend is still up and that trend seems to hold water. But anything else is moot.

Never ever ever going to happen for any reasonable length of time.

Outside of outlier events such as market crashes, where Bitcoin might hit $100 for a microsecond, I can't imagine any scenario that Bitcoin could sustain a price anywhere near $100.

The lower the price goes towards $1,000 the more people see the opportunity.

However I do think sub $2,000 Bitcoin is possible in the event of a Tether crash.

If he has 1 million bitcoins, or close to it and he starts to dump, in the short term (1-2 years) we will hurt a little bit, but in the long run this is the best thing that can happen to Bitcoin.

Anyone dumping a large holding does the community a good long term service. For they are redistributing their coins to many other people.

If he dumps 1 million btc over 2 years, it's likely thousands to hundreds of thousands of people will buy up these cheap btc.

This means the average holding per person goes down (makes the distribution a little less weighted towards older whales.)

And this means that there no longer exists someone with that much potential bullying power, once they manipulate and sell, it's done and over.

Just make sure you buy as much of those btc as you can! Do your part!


In all honestly I do not believe either are Satoshi.

Nick was very public about all of his developments prior to Satoshi coming on the scene. It's unlikely Nick would have felt the need to be anonymous considering he had no issue with being public before.

I think that Satoshi being anonymous was important to stop any legal action being taken against him, but Nick was freely making various advancements with Bitgold and didn't care about law enforcement. Also Nick has a law degree so perhaps he knew that there was no need to be anonymous. (And I am too paranoid).

And for sure, Craig Wright is not Satoshi, he seems to be the complete opposite.

And yet another thing that pisses me off about Craig Wright, he has this massive hard on for following the law to the letter and if he was really Satoshi, he would have never created Bitcoin.

Back when Bitcoin was created it was debatable if someone could legally issue their own currency, especially one that doesn't have KYC baked in at the protocol level. You can be sure that the Government would have attacked Craig if they knew about him creating Bitcoin in the early days, as they could have easier deemed his 'rules' (bitcoin codebase) as being him issuing a currency (Bitcoin.)

Of course by the time people started to make cryptocurrency with their names attached, (Ethereum for example) the cat was out of the bag and it was too late to do anything about it.

Like the EtherDelta founder being targeted by the SEC, if Satoshi was not anonymous it's likely they would have been taken to court in the US if they were known around 2009-2011.

Thankfully Satoshi's anonymity allowed the pandoras box to remain open long enough that by the time we get to 2013 it's too late and too many people around the world are using it. I also suspect the CIA made use of Bitcoin and thus was a reason not to make it illegal in the first few years.

Anyways, this to me points to Craig not being Satoshi. As far as the law goes he seems to be too law abiding to ever have even considered something like Bitcoin.

I think that the larger transaction is the entire block reward for that block and this is shown as the reward until the block is fully mature. Once it's fully mature you'll see the correct reward. On my nodes it looks like it takes a few days for this to show.

So just give it time and you'll see the 2.10 reward eventually.

I see no issue with the devs being anonymous.

I remember when this project stalled as its creator had some issues and could not continue. The current devs took over and rescued the project. Through their actions I can see that they are good people and I fully support their identities being hidden. Unfortunately our society attacks those working outside the norm and this can put some people at risk.
