Ethereum+: A Peer-to-Peer Digital Asset System

Abstract. The Ethereum+ network is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. A zero compromise blockchain with the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture and the Turing Complete programming of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) architectures. This is a breakthrough smart contracting and digital asset system based on SHA512 proof-of-work, designed for extreme throughput and scale.

What is Ethereum+?

Ethereum+ is a revolutionary network designed to solve the problems with all existing blockchains in terms of scale, parallelism and Turing Complete programming. Ethereum+ is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. Similarly to Bitcoin, the Ethereum+ network requires minimal structure, and timestamps transactions into an ongoing hash-based chain of proof-of-work (SHA512/256). We introduce two novel breakthrough techniques to validate digital assets: unique references and a general purpose induction proof system both of which operate in constant O(1) time and space. It is possible to compose outputs in any manner, without compromising the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture. Therefore, users can leave and rejoin the Ethereum+ network at will and be assured of the integrity and authenticity of their digital assets.

Zero Compromise Open-source Blockchain: Hybrid Account + UTXO Smart Contracts

The world's first breakthrough hybrid Account + UTXO based architecture engineered for massive layer one (L1) on-chain scaling and Turing Complete smart contracts.Ethereum+ offers the benefits of a UTXO blockchain along with the advanced capabilities of EVM compatible blockchains, but with none of the downsies.

"I had to write all the code before I could convince myself that I could solve every problem, then I wrote the paper. I think I will be able to release the code sooner than I could write a detailed spec." - Satoshi Nakamoto

In the same spirit of Satoshi Nakamoto's launch of Bitcoin, we released a fully operational and software development stack on Day 1, before even writing the White Paper. We wanted to be convinced that the revolutionary and breakthrough system worked before writing about it. No waiting, no limitations, just a scalable blockchain node and toolkit to build your dreams today.

now it's been six months but I don't understand why you bump this thread, is the problem not solved?

Have you tried another motherboard
Have you tried another PSU
have you tried checking your software (drivers, OS, mining software)

if all that has been done and the problem hasn't gone away, you can check the GPU to the nearest service store.

I have identical systems it's 100% the GPU as I have isolated the other variables.

Guess my only option is to either sell it or explain my situation to the store i bought it from and somehow find a way for them to issue a replacement which I doubt will be possible as the card still works all on its own. Huh

Used mining rigs pricing help
by
drummerdimitri
on 14/04/2018, 08:18:03 UTC
I would like to sell three of my mining rigs to a local hardware store however they think my asking price is too high since the hardware is used.

Here are the specs of my three rigs, hope I can get some clear idea of what they might be worth today.

Rig # 1:

Motherboard: Asus PRIME Z270-A

GPU: 8 x Asus STRIX GTX 1070

CPU: Intel Core i3 7100

RAM: Kingston HyperX 8 GB

SSD: Kingston 128 GB M.2

PSU: Coolermaster V1000

8 x Riser cards for GPU

High quality Aluminum Frame

Asking price 5500$

Rig # 2:

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z270F

GPU: 8 x Asus STRIX GTX 1070

CPU: Intel Core i3 7100

RAM: T-Force Dark 8GB

SSD: Kingston 256 GB M.2

PSU: Coolermaster V1000

8 x Riser cards for GPU

High quality Aluminum Frame

Asking price 5500$

Rig # 3:

Motherboard: Asus PRIME Z270-A

GPU: 8 x ZOTAC GTX 1060 AMP!

CPU: Intel Core i3 7100

RAM: Kingston HyperX 8 GB

SSD: Kingston 128 GB M.2

PSU: Coolermaster V1000

8 x Riser cards for GPU

High quality Aluminum Frame

Asking price 3500$

Please keep in mind that the hardware is barely 6 months old and has been running 24/7 obviously.

How much lower should I go? Do I have any room for negotiation?

Thanks!

Well, it seems to me you have a card which is perfect for game station.
One card to pci-e slot , not enough for mining, but good for gaming. so just play games.

I don't need it for mining...

Got a 1080 Ti for that, this one needs to work its ass off like all the other 23 GPUs...

GPU wont show up in mining rigs but works all alone in a system?!
by

I'm baffled by this as I've tried everything from risers to different USBs, location on boards, different mining rigs with 8 GPU's but for some reason this GTX1070 of mine wont show up at all! I've tried direct connection on board and it still doesnt show up.

It only works when plugged in alone in a system and mines along just fine.

What could be the issue with this card? They usually work or don't work at all but this one is driving me nuts  Huh

i would put my bet on a bad riser, connect all risers with molex or 6pin. never sata

like I said the I've tried everything and all components work.

Now I have a dead motherboard and can no longer mine until I get it fixed somehow or get a new one

So I have three mining rigs built exactly the same way in terms of motherboards, power supplies, graphic cards etc...

Problem is one of those rigs will simply not show the 8th GPU. I've tried everything (changed risers, usb cables, power lines, graphic cards etc...) and it still wont show the 8th GPU!

It's no the GPU and it's not any of the things mentioned above so what the hell can it be?!

I've made a clone of the ssd and the bios settings are all the same across all three rigs so why is this one not showing me the last GPU?

What else can I try? I've been at it for two days now and it's becoming really frustrating!

Have you checked every section in Device Manager? Sometime I got the same problem, and the interesting thing is the last GPU was displayed not in Display, so I just right click on it and update driver for it. Then, it should be ready to mine.

Lol. As far as I know there is only one sector in the Device Manager for the GPU- and it is called Display adapters. The OP said that the other 2 rigs have everything setup the same way as this rig which does not recognize the 8th GPU.

Maybe in the device manager other areas you can see a yellow exclamation mark but that is highly unlikely since the OP said he has spent two days troubleshooting it.

Have you OP updated the BIOS to the latest version of your motherboard ?

I don't see how a BIOS update can fix this issue if the other 2 rigs work fine with 8 cards...

Re: Biostar RX580 8GB BIOS mod for ethereum?

I got  the same card and did the one click Bios Editor. When i checked all the Straps were changed as per 480 from 1650 downwards. I do get 30.5MH's but my other cards MSI RX580 are stable ...this card jumps  from 30.5  down to 26 then up to 28 then 30 and back to 24 ...Anything i shud try to get it running stable @ 30MHs please.

Thanks for the feedback.

I also did the 1 click BIOS mod and now my hashrate is stable at 31 MH/s with +200 on mem.

Warranty void after mining (GPU)?
by
drummerdimitri
on 29/01/2018, 09:24:24 UTC
So I've heard people saying that mining will void my GPU's warranty.

However, I'm a bit skeptical about this claim since I am not sure how the manufacturer will know if a card has been used for mining or not.

Does it write something to the BIOS of the card? Would a BIOS mod revert it back to stock and return the warranty?

Biostar RX580 8GB memory overclocking problem
by
drummerdimitri
on 21/01/2018, 21:10:17 UTC
So I've changed the 0:2000 strap to the 0:1750 value and flashed the BIOS and I am currently getting 25 MH/s on Ethereum but for some reason I cannot seem to go any higher since overclocking my memory past the default 2000 MHz drops my hashrate to around 19 for some odd reason.

I've tried playing around with power targets, undervolting but nothing seems to work!

Is my Hynix memory not overclock-able? What's going on here?

I followed the tutorial flashed my bios, overclocked my memory to 2250 but the card still only manages 24.7 MH/s

Is this a limitation of the card? I am running on the beta blockchain drivers

Thanks for the input.

I realized that my card only has one set of timing straps ex: 0:2000 nothing starting with 1:xxxx or 2:xxxx so do I just replace the timings from 0:2000 to 0:1750?

Does anyone have any experience modding the bios of this card for higher ethereum hashrates?

I am only getting 21 MH/s with Compute mode in claymore with +250 on memory...

i forgot to mention that the 4g connection is dedicated to the 3 rigs while the DSL connection is being used by the family in case that makes a difference.
