I made an account because I noticed something I could fix on the vanitygen page. If given access I will make that edit. Thanks.

Can someone help me out with some information i'm trying to gather?

What was the Bitcoin block height that CLAM forked from back on May 12 2014? I can't find it anywhere. My best guess is that it was around block 300,380.

Does anybody know the block CLAM originally forked from?

Clam didnt fork from Bitcoin. It forked from Blackcoin in may 2014

Sorry let me rephrase. This is the information I've seen: "Clams were initially distributed to 3,208,032 BTC, LTC and DOGE addresses based on the 12 May 2014 snapshots of the three respective blockchains."

At what Bitcoin block height was this 2014 distribution to BTC holders based on?

BTC block 300377 (2014-05-12 12:48:17)
LTC block 565693 (2014-05-12 13:06:31)
DOGE block 218556 (2014-05-12 13:09:17)

THANK YOU!! Much appreciated.

Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform

Can somebody help me with some information?

My understanding is that Stellar did two distributions/airdrops to Bitcoin holders: one in 2016 and the other in 2017.

https://www.stellar.org/blog/bitcoin-claim-lumens/
https://www.stellar.org/blog/bitcoin-claim-lumens-2/

Does anybody know the Bitcoin block heights that each of these snapshots were taken at? I've been having trouble finding this information. Any help would be much appreciated!

The last distribution in 2017 appears to be based on a snapshot of block #472889

https://blockchain.info/block/00000000000000000159c6d590497c65281934c9b3d530c5fb812f1beb96d15a

The one in 2016 looks like it was based on the first block on July 4th, which is #419181

THANK YOU!! Really appreciate that.

What's the story with Poloniex? I have SJCX that have been sitting on there for a while. Do I need to manually convert to STORJ or will Poloniex do that themselves at some point?

I thought the ICO was very well executed personally. It provided a nice contrast to how Status.im conducted their ICO the same day.

Civic:
- queued their contributions to prevent network congestion
- ensured everybody had a space in line.
- provided clear information on when it would open (9am), so just get in line before that time and you're pretty much guaranteed a spot. Also communicated to users while they were in the line with a notice box.

Status:
- no queuing, and disrupted the entire network for hours with what amounted to a DDoS attack on the network by its own users
- no guarantee for a space in line, just an address that you need to send money to asap
- communication breakdowns while the entire network slowed to a crawl and people were sending money to a smart contract with no response. They took down their Slack channel after the blowback.

Civic conducted their ICO responsibly and professionally and I hope other ICOs follow their example.

There shouldn't be any information affecting the price that the community is not aware of - Other than PKC which has been discussed a few pages back and that whole project is still yet to be signed off.

PKB was a low valued thin market with 4.8m Supply, 922k in Cold Storage (Premine) - Price movements were always expected to be rather large. I have no idea if this was people buying into the project or a pump group.

Thanks, I appreciate the response. Best of luck on the development. I'll be watching this coin for sure.

WBB just got delisted from Bittrex due to being hacked and the topic page seems to be dead:

Is there a new topic page?

As the Dev of PKB, I have continually avoided hype and will continue to do so. There will be no statement regarding the price - It is what it is, my job as the Dev is to develop the project not to manipulate the market.

If there is material information affecting the price that the community is not aware of, I think it's the dev's responsibility to tell us. Have significant developments taken place? Has an enterprise partnership been formed? etc...

Assuming none of that took place, this is market irrationality at its worst. I sold out. This is way too fishy. Thanks for the honest discussion guys.
