Is the XMR project dead then?

There are p2p options like the longstanding Localmonero, Bisq, and Haveno project seems to be finally getting off the ground.
Monero seems like it's underperforming for the amount of community, development, and infrastructure it has, but given Coinbase ignoring forever and now Binance delisting (and both of them promoting shittokens like Shib and far worse), it is what it is I guess. I don't think Monero is dead though, far from it.

Theory: now that Binance has delisted Monero, XMR price will slowly recover.
My impression is that it was Binance customers unable or unwilling to withdraw (and thus having sold their XMR) and/or panic selling on other CEXes what drove the price down, not a general change in the demand/supply equation. If you look at Exch for example, the demand for XMR there is so high that they charge 5% fees for several weeks now, but they have stated that their reserves still get exhausted fastly.
The dump on February 19 should have been the last significant one, caused probably by the last wave or Binance customers having sold their XMR.

BISQ funktioniert für mich perfekt und nach meinem persönlichen POLONIEX Debakel wo ich 3 Monate gebraucht habe, dass ich meine Moneroj dort rausbekommen habe, sind für mich solche Plattformen Geschichte. Ich mache das in Zukunft über BISQ, loclamonero und ggfs. einen Treuhänder

I do not truly estimate that, but on the young start it tastes like it. If it does so, i think there will be a quite decent rally upwards.

Need to restore wallet because got XMR balance in it
Lost the phone that's why I try to recover the wallet...
Reason I don't have the full seed is I guess cake didn't show the full seed on screen when i put it on paper so I did not write all the words down and did not count the words and that's why last 5 missing

out of stupidity have the 20 out of the 25 words of my seed, last 5 words are missing, is there any way to recover this wallet??
Trial and error for the rest 5 words. Of course you are gonna need a script for that. Cheers.

I just check and BTCrecover doesn't manage Monero wallets. A script is a piece of code to do a "simple" task; like, in your case, to try every combination of the seed words until the right one is reached.

As far as we know you are quoting a dead man. He held a lot of bitcoin while he was alive, and probably lost more than many in this thread could imagine.
What an insight you shared there. I just checked the user's profile. They were last active in March. That means their demise happened recently. What a loss.The rumor is it was a car wreck. Truly sad. He made lots of enemies here because he was also a thief/scammer. He started a crypto "game" that I think used monero, but then had it's own google sheets based "currency", and he basically exit scammed, supposedly went to jail (not sure if related) and most likely lost most of it...
I had several long private conversations with him. he was a tortured soul. At least some of the time.
I never knew, however, that he was a violin appraiser. Lol.
This guy more or less brought me into crypto and i enjoyed his predictions and mathematical forecasts very much! I think his game was not intended as an exit scam, i think -as i was watching the development of his castle game- he was fucked by hackers as other exchanges had been fucked also and he was fucked by poloniex also.
I am not sure if he had a car accident or if he was accidented, but yes he had some troubles with his wife and his children. RIP, i will still enjoy reading his posts and predictions saved here
A quick note to agree with you that Risto was not purely bad. But he did demolish his reputation and his own riches as well as the wealth of others. Along with, as you say, getting others to see the future with Bitcoin (and also Monero). I liked him and had several great conversations with him. It would be terrible if he was "accidented".
When the kingdom game was going I would not touch it with a 10 meter pole. He loved the idea of being a king, surrounded by sycophants. He was that as well... I saw the end from a mile away... maybe I was just cynical, but also right.
I fully agree with you, despite the fact, that i think computer games are a waste of time that would keep me from reading a good, interesting book.
I hope he has found peace with himself, his wife and children...
