Re: [ANN][ZEL] Zelcash : INNOVATIVE-INTELLIGENT-INSPIRING Cryptocurrency - zkSNARKs

is ZEL going to be listed on coinmarketscap or similar services?

I suspect it will be added by the end of the month. I also expect it to be shown on sites like whattomine.com as well.
Not unless this gets listed on a big exchange with an API that whattomine supports.

Probably True. https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator/
crypto-coinz.net supports stocks.exchange so they might list it rather soon

Actually it does list it currently

Re: BitBay, this will be its year, huge returns possible.

I honestly don't see BitBay being that big that. I think it is a clone or a copy cat of Syscoin. Sysoin has been in the game way longer and they have a IPO which is being publicly traded in Canada. You should check out Syscoin and tell me your thoughts.

I agree that bitbay has similar goals to syscoin. However, what is wrong with a little competition? There can definitely be more than one cryptocurrency bartering platform.

I have heard a lot of good things about bitbay. Before investing I am going to open an account with them and see what they are all about.

Just to questions:

Any tips for using their exchange?

Who are bitbay's competitors?

Thanks

Jumping ship when you sense a dip isn't a good investment plan. Time in the market is better than timing the market.

Re: SHIFT - Will it recover from the recent shenanigans?

I have been holding shift for a few months now. I agree that missing deadlines is never a good sign. It shows incompetence in the leadership and developers, but it could be for valid reasons. However, the recent hacks are more concerning to me. I think it would be a good show of face for the team to have their project's code audited by an outside group to try to catch flaws in the project. This would show that the team knows that having robust and vetted systems is increasingly important for stability in the currency and the importance of avoiding hard forks because of incompetence.

1 pool has over 75% of the network... really? Atleast try to decentralize and prevent a 51% attack.

I have been using https://zel.coinblockers.com/ . No problems with that pool

ZCash 20% in this infographic is a total bullshit. Do your research before making such fake statesments.

Zcash does have a 20% dev fee for the first 4 years of mining. When the block reward is halved then there will be no dev fee. The devs will be rewarded 2.1 million zcash. Which is 10% of the total supply that there will ever be.

why total supply is bigger than displayed 1-100..??

This coin is a zk snarks coin like zcash or zencash. This allows for private transactions that cannot be viewed on the blockchain. There was about 13 million zelcash mined on the second block. I suspect that all of this was eventually sent to a private address.

What is with one address that had 13 million zelcash and then zent it out to other addresses but most of the transactions cannot be found on the block explorer??

Seems kinda fishy

My for sure holds are:
BTC, ETH, ADA, and XMR
These guys are here to stay and many of you already know why.

My moon holds are:
VTC
ZEN
These smaller guys have clear goals for 2018 and dev teams that achieved what they had planned for 2017 so I am betting on them for this year too.

Elix and PRL. These two coins got hit the hardest during the crash. Both projects have very good devs. They are extremely undervalued right now and have potential to reach a billion dollar market cap. Just buy and hold.

everyone talking about elix, so sadly, it cant moon Sad if everyone speaks about one coin it is only dumping dumping and dumping to dips.

Everyone was talking about antshares (now neo) when it mooned. I was highly skeptical and missed out.

I threw some hashing power at it just for fun but looks like an copy of any other zk snarks coin with the extra twist of ethash for dapps. I'm not impressed until I get more effort of how the team plans to combine the pos and pow system.

Re: [ANN] PIRL, first ETHASH masternode crypto
by

I first found pirl a month or two ago when it popped up on whattomine.com. I bought some purely speculatively when it showed up on whattomine thinking that it would gain more buyers now that it is being "advertised".

The main thing that I am curious about is what are the nodes for besides paying out to their operators. Or is pirl just supposed to be an investment for the operators/developers?
