In this thread: Some guy/gal blowing off steam because they were stupid enough to leave their coins on an exchange. Nothing to do with the Syscoin project in any way. Believe it or not crypto devs tend not to call the shots at third party exchanges....

Altcoins on average in the long run will always underperform Bitcoin, remember it. Bitcoin reflects overall market rise and takes benefit from all new coins being listed. And also many altcoins have higher inflation rate than bitcoin. Buy and hold altcoins only if you expect to get at least x3 in fiat in the next year (and maybe even x5 to be safe). Will Syscoin reach 300M market cap? That's a good question, I don't know. It has good potential, but its blockchain doesn't show real transactions. Maybe something will change after Blockmarket is released.

If you see "1" there, it means just a transaction to pay mining reward, so they don't count. The rest of transactions are real transactions, but there are just too few of them, maybe 10 per hour or less. You can compare it to GameCredits, another currency that is going to be used on a market (gaming in that case).
What you're seeing there is low network traffic, there simply aren't that many transactions being done at the moment. I expect that will change when Bockmarket is released in a few weeks.
No transactions are hidden as far as I know. Is that what you're implying?

I bet the first exchange will be Cryptopia in next 6 hours

Yeah this is looking like a serious project now. I was on visio.wtf playing around and the streaming speed is pretty impressive. This could get very big when they incorporate the coin in a meaningful way.
