Just kidding they're still down. I had all four go into Enabled for about 15 minutes, then back to watchdog expired.

Masternodes back online for me. Did all the troubleshooting others have listed, but I'm guessing the IPs were being ddos'd as they were previously unreachable.

Hi, I build 1 WAVI MN, and use command "masternode status" to check it return "status": "Masternode successfully started".

The MN continued active 4 days, but I didn't get any reward . Anything I miss  Huh

What says in masternode bookmark on wallet? Is it enabled? If so, currently there are 530+ nodes, so your chance to get a block 1/530 (or <0.2%), so just unluck i guess.

Status is enable. I will wait 1 month, hoho~

After I rebuild MN, I got 4.5 wavi after 2 days.

Maybe the MN code have some bugs.

4.5 WAVI every 18 hours is normal. If you set your MN up correctly, you should see a payment in of 4.5 every 18ish hours. There are fluctuations, but that does seem correct.

binary reup
https://github.com/wavidev-the-man/wavi/releases

any fixes, or major changes to the code is following master branch of Dash.
when any new code in the following,
https://github.com/dashpay/dash/commits/master
and its needed to WAVI,  the code will be updated. (and binary release)

i stopped PM alert of bitcointalk and watch PMs because tons of spams and
many people have taken it out on me about Exvo.io issues.

Thanks for the update, it's good to know you're still dedicated to the project.

What's a 'reup'? Just a re-upload? What's the purpose in re-uploading the binary?

2 or 3 days after the launch of Webchain project, there is no available Windows GUI wallet for miners.
I am not familiar to compose wallet with codes from the guideline, so I hope Webchain devs will release the GUI wallet as soon as possible.
The GUI is coming. Take advantage of the network pre-GUI and use the guidelines posted in the original post. Every instruction can be found there. Following the instructions = profit Smiley

im using cpuminer opt 3.8.4, with 4 threads i got 95-105 hash only and connected to suprnova pool, but i got 1 wavi for 2 days mining, is there any problem with the pool or the miner i use?

Im mining yenten using the yenten miner but i got a 216 hash with 4 threads.

Your numbers are correct. Yenten uses yescryptr16 while WAVI uses the yescryptr32 algorithm. Yescryptr32 by design will mine at half the hashrate as yescryptr16. It's part of what makes yescryptr32 more GPU and asic resistant compared to yescryptr16.

Hi all,
Do you know if it possible to set up 2 ou more masternodes o the same VPS with only one IP but one different port for each masternode ?
For example :
 - Masternode 1 : IP:port = 121.122.123.124:1393
 - Masternode 2 : IP:port = 121.122.123.124:1394
Only the port is changing between the 2 masternodes : port 1393 vs. port 1394.
If it is possible, what are your advices/HowTo.
TY
Even if it is possible - it isnt correct.
Why it isn't correct ?
Technical issues or phylosophical issues ?

Because everyone's client application is programmed to talk to the MN on port 1393. You can't change what port the wallet communicates with. The best you could do is set up a second static IP on your VM, assuming you could launch multiple wavi-daemons.

So i guess we actually have entered the GPU/ASIC era with a GPU miner now available for Yescryptr32. 450H/s on a 980ti and 1,200H/s on an overclocked 1080ti FTW3.

What does this mean for a coin who's primary advantage over similar alts was CPU-only? Mining WAVI on a 1080ti could almost even be considered power efficient compared to the many older CPUs that are chipping away at this project.

Examining the Wavi code further .... this is obviously a fork of Dash.

The same code I note above .... right down to the comments ... is in the Dash code.

The only change the Wavi developer seems to have made is to the max block reward (reduced from 500 to 50).

It curious that a coin designed to be long term CPU-only so quickly exits what is referred to as the "CPU mining era".

It would be interesting to hear from the dev regarding this design decision.

Agreed on it being a Dash fork, I noticed that a couple weeks ago when I was researching WAVI deeply.

Has anybody heard from the dev? I searched his profile on btctalk and github and there isn't much for contributions lately. Since April 10th, and that was for a yescrypt16 thread. WAVI has so much potential, I just hope the dev is dedicated to the project.

I'm guessing he may be talking about the Yescrypt16 algo that excavator got support for in 2015. I don't believe there is any support for GPU yescrypt32 mining at all. It could be done, but mining yescrypt32 on a GPU would be extremely inefficient. Not that I wouldn't do it anyways Smiley

In the command line syntax c=WAVI, what does c=WAVI do? I notice on hashfaster.com, the Extra column indicates c=WAVI. Could I use this for my miner hostnames? What does this argument do?
