I got the one back up to 400MH/s putting it back in the original computer.  The second is still around 320MH/s.  Thought it was because it just wasn't as powerful running at 2560x1440 but seems to get the same numbers even when the monitor is disconnected.  Not really caring right now getting what I can from the video cards working on securing ASICs.

I'm just talking about currently no ASIC companies accept $ you have to buy them with BTC.  If your smart your lining up access to ASIC if possible.  GPU is already dropping really really quickly.

How are you able to determine that GPU use is dropping from these statistics?

It may not yet but I'm already getting 30% of what I was just a few weeks ago.  In another 2-3 months someone running even 10 cards will be barely making anything (like .02-0.04BTC a day).  I think its a safe assumption. There is a MASSIVE amount of Avalon chips coming online.

The people that helped found this country were not stupid they knew exactly what would happen

“I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.”

Given how the NSA is unable to keep top secret powerpoints secret, I'll wait for the leak of a cancer cure.

Don't eat carbs and lots of high alkaline food.  Also pot helps Smiley

For now most ASIC companies only accept BTC.  Now its nearly required to have ASIC to continue mining.  For this alone I feel the price is about to skyrocket in BTC/$ ratio.  A lot of peoples mining dropped so much they are going to be forced to buy (demand driving up) if they want ASIC.

You should be more afraid of a muslim (violent or not) demonstrations trying to force their religion or their sharia laws down your throats, than a terrorist bomb.

Religion the way it is was created to divide people

The way life was intended - Celebrate differences and bond over similarities

What we are taught - Bond over similarities kill over differences

Its subtle but that's what is driven into peoples brains.  War, illness, etc is profitable.

I'm glad the first stages are underway but there is 100's of times this information about to come out.  Wait until people find out things like they were given cancer because it was profitable!

Or you can buy discrete Avalon chips for about $9.50 for 282 Mh/s. That is $2200 per 65 GH/s. Even taking into account cost of the PCB and power supply, that is still in the same range.

Or you could have ordered BFL for about $1300 / 60GHs.

ASICMiner is more expensive, but it's only for the people who have missed out. Their prices will come down when the Avalon chips ship and you see DIY Avalon machines anywhere.

The big thing with Avalon chips is your in the ASIC game for $150ish per 4.5GH/s you don't have to put down a ton of money.

that is a dell power supply..... hrmmm u pulling 600+ watts means that isnt a 550watt dell.. what wattage is that?!?! I didnt know Dell made larger than 550! nice

That's a Dell T7500 - the PSU is 1000W (although in some places they claim 1100W). I had a leftover motherboard with processor and PSU .. so I just made a cage for it Smiley
It's a very nice motherboard - 5x PCIe x16 slots (2x16, 2x8 and 1x4)

My T7600 says 1200W but then goes into exclusions it could also be 1100W or 1000W depending on the power input source.  I believe 1200W is only 230V.

It's not the individual investor who usually gets caught, it's the guy pitching.  It is illegal to ask the public for funding with an unregistered offering.  This law is designed to protect the individual from unscrupulous con men.

Quite the opposite its created to steal our money and give it to the con men in office.

It could be some miners are hoping for a breaking point.. ie, it becomes so HARD to mine that MOST miners get out leaving only a hardcore group and eliminating some of the difficulty.  I for one do not think difficulty will continue to climb.. eventually it will go down and only those few left mining will reap any rewards..

It will climb for a while but its not going to be +33% forever.  It will eventually stabilize to a sustainable number.

I've been doing quite a bit of reading since I started this thread and I realize that even small asics buyers will probably be left behind.
50gh/s will soon be the minimum requirement to mine.

At some point but 50GH/s *may* not be necessary this year.  You may still be able to do a decent job with 10-20GH/s.  Decent being subjective.
