Too much random comments without any proofs or arguments.

Vertcoin is seen as a good currency in a world ravaged by asic scrypt miners. We're are very far from it. So nobody needs vertcoin now.
Still, it could be a good currency, but they are very few support around it. Few apps, few merchants.
So, why should the price be high now ?

So my guess is a slow decreasing price for months until maybe a big asic scrypt miners hit.

NtX rien a dire

- 60 seconds block target - Diff retargets each block
- Total coins will be 13.5 billion coins
- 5 confirmations for transaction
- 50 confirmations for minted blocks
(FAST <30 & at times <10 sec to send/receive)
- Supports transaction message
- Block avg 10000 coins , varies seasonally
- The block payout will be halved every year,

varies seasonally! Voilà! On a trouvé The killing feature !

l'écologie ? mieux que vertcoin ? Pourquoi ?

On to my reception and overview of 1024 pool difficulty.

For those of us with sub 2mh/s rigs, I feel we suffer. It takes my r9 290x at 962 kh/s anywhere from 45 seconds to over 2 minutes to complete one packet of work. It frequently takes my nVidia rig at 230kh/s over 10 minutes.

It appears that when a coin switches, that whole packet of work is rendered useless as cgminer starts to work on the new coin. If the coins switch enough, this adds up BIG TIME.

Below is an image of my hashing at MC.
Orange stars = Before diff 1024
Green Star = After

http://i42.tinypic.com/2u74orb.png

After having done absolutely nothing to my rigs, why else could this be happening?

We are not doing work. We're rolling dices. Previous trys aren't usefull.

What is raising difficulty ?
It's like having a 512 sides dice, giving you 512 bucks each time you make a 512.
Now you have a 1024 sides dice, giving you 1024 bucks each time you make a 1024.
Same average win, but bigger standard deviation. This means that the long term , when your winnigs are close to the average, is farther with 1024.

You see it negatively because sometimes, a fast round doesn't let you submit a share. But sometimes a fast round let you submit more shares than you should have !

I think it's just the high standard deviation the 1024 diff involves.

My rig posts a share every minute / MH/s.
So sometimes you can have more than 5 minutes without a share.
It's still showing correct values in middlecoin graphs.

You have to count the unexchanged. It's around 0.5 for you.
Why don't you solo mine with your own algo ? Seems like a good investment when you earn 2 BTC a day.

Today we had an average 0.0114 / Mh/s.

(131.89 + 35) / 14700 = 0.0114
35 is an approximation of unexchanged addition today.
14700 is an approximation of the average Mh/s for the pool today.

It could be nice to keep track of unexchanged amount at the start of the day, in order to have more accurate stats.
(Starting at 83.5 for tommorow.)

Every single altcoin I've seen is bad.
Just small random changes in variables.
But you can still mine them, trade them and make profit !
