I'd found out how to calculate the BURST mining term correctly, so I've changed the table.
The final term for mining stoppage is July 2029.

Since there is no any respectful exchanger for magnatum yet, its price is not presented now, so the mBTC value on Yiimp pool should be incorrect.

You can say that again! It's one of the main pros of Bitcoin. There is a rumour that the magnatum developer is considering the possibility to make the coin emission finite. As for me, I'm sure it's a necessary condition for success. Otherwise, the inflation is inevitable in the future.

Many coins like Bitcoin have the same problem with the transactions speed. When many people use the coin there are lots of transactions every second in the coin network, but the coin algorithm can't handle them all because of a fixed time of block generation.

For example, the Bitcoin network can handle only 7 transactions per second and no more. Thus, there is an increasing queue of unprocessed transactions which is slowing the transactions speed. 

Magnatum has a unique feature which helps to solve this problem and transactions in the magnatum network are always fast, independently of the number of coin's users.

Its block generation algorithm (called LiquidBlocks) is able to change the speed of generation to decrease the time of transaction processing. Changing of generation time doesn't influence on the coin emission because of a proportional changing the reward amount.

I believe that the developer will tell us more about the LiquidBlocks feature in the coin white paper.

I had the same error message, but when I updated the wallet the message disappeared and the solo mining started.

As for the asterisks, I tried IP-address, but it didn't work, so I used * and it worked.

There is no one yet. But as I understand, you can dump your keys from the wallet and then add them in later. So, If you write down the dumped keys you will have the paper wallet ) To dump the keys use the wallet console.

How to mine magnatum solo (for Windows).

Download and install the last ver. of the wallet here: http://magnatum.io/. Do not start it yet.

Create the configuration file here:

Name it magnatum.conf
Its content:

The fields YOUR_USERNAME and YOUR_PASS shouldn't be the same word.

Save the file.
Go to the miner folder and make the start.bat file.
I use the x64 ccminer so the example is for it.

Your "i" parameter might be different.

Start the wallet. Wait till it'll be synchronised.
Start your solo mining bat file.

High premine? Do you really think that 1.9% of a year emission is high? Well, I have news for you, many coins use premine.
And magnatum coin isn't just another altcoin. It has the unique feature which can help people to use crypto coins.
Besides, premine is needed for future development, to pay the coders, PR, bounties, and so on.

There is the road map. As you can see, the developer wrote his plans in the first message. Read carefully.
And there are lots of things ready - mining pool, wallet, website. It actually works already.

Magnatum coin is completely independent of signatum.
It has its own unique feature, and a lot of work has been done to add it into source code and to get it to work correctly. If you are able to read the source code you easily can see it.
As the magnatum uses the Skunkhash Raptor algo it's obvious that the easiest way to gain it was to fork signatum and use its wallet sources. The same about the website template. But It's only the beginning of the work.
And as you can see the developers are from Russia (I'm not the one) so they cannot be that guy whom you're talking about.
