We had super bad luck 2 or 3 days in a row before this happened btw, so overall it just averaged out.

Remember we had a freaking 12 hour block!!! and people kept on leaving and then they return cause they want the luck too...LoL!

It's starting to be more clearer for me now. Am not hating the pool or anything it's just my thoughts, and this is actually good for you guys aswell (triplemining people) so others know how this pool actually works.

However I have asked a couple of my friends (knows notting about this btw or bitcoins) about your payment method in your site and told me it's a mini pyramid scheme if the referral is being used.

So newly refereed or recruited miners needs to find somebody to be referred to receive their 1% or else he/she is being scammed, and repeat, but referred but hasn't referred anyone goes to the 1% jackpot and to the referrer? (Am confused  Huh)

Registering triplemining.com as is and not being referred (eg. username.triplemining.com) sounds alot better btw. 1% goes to jackpot.

This is what I found about Triplemining.

According to their scheme...
User 1 will benefit if User 2 joins his ref.
User 2 will benefit if User 3 joins his ref, but User 1 won't benefit.
...etc

However what I've read in their threads and even gotten a reply back from their users (also a mini pool leader.)
User 1 = Mini pool team leader and will benefit from all users, 2,3,4,5,6...etc.

And

The defense they use...You can win jackpots!!
So tell me what's my odds of wining the jackpots when the pool grows?

So in conclusion.
Only "User 1 or mini pool team leader" will win from his ref + mini pool team hash bonus from 1% + jackpots.

Btw guys, how does the SMS notification work? I'm from Singapore so I typed in my country code (65) and my number (XXXXXXXX) as 65XXXXXXXX. I tried toggling a test worker on and off for about an hour but I received no SMS notifications. Is this for US/EU miners only?

The other country that Inaba meant to mention is New Zealand  Wink

For example in NZ. Our local numbers always start with a 0, so we just replace that with a +64 (+64 is NZ country code).
So for NZ it's +(country code = 64)(area code or cell provider, but without the first zero)(number).
For the States +(country code = 1)(State city (btw which cell providers also uses))(number).

Don't include the exit number.

If you have a friend that has an iPhone or something similar, do a miss call and ask him for the number because most of the time the iPhone records international numbering plans, and copy that to your EMS account.

I'm coming back soon with my 5Gh/s!!! (Just let me collect enough BTC for my electricity bill  Tongue)

This pool really need to earn the banhammer on this forum, I'm getting really tired of the referral spam here.

+1

It sounds only the mini pool owners will benefit from this scheme and not the miners inside the mini pool.

As stated from CNMOH, "Everyone pays a 1% fee and part of this is then distributed among people who have a minipool. The more hashing power your minipool has, the more bitcoin you get when a block is found. So the more people you refer, the more you earn."

BTC Guild Also pays for stales if you donate 2.5% or higher.

I thought it's only for invalid blocks?

PACRIM has been updated.  Can you PACRIM folks let me know if it improves your connection?

All sweet so far! It's also giving less stale than the US.

Is it alright if my workers uses different servers?

Edit (5 hours later): Getting idle miners like every 1 minute or so with pacrim server...  Cry

We got beaten by bitp.it and Mineco.in, pools newer then us  Cry

Oh snap! Once testing is over and the pool is stable, most  likely miners will start joining.  Kiss

Also is there a feature to disable your account name from being shown in the hall of fame and top miners?

Am getting frequent work queue empty miner idle -> new work push -> disconnected from server -> connected to server like every 8~10 minutes. Also my estimated speed went down from 4.2GH/s to 3.2GH/s as well as my rejected share skyrocketed to 12% Cry

This all happened after the restart like over an hour ago...

Edit Edit 2: Am still getting the frequent connection problems like every 5-8 minutes now, but reconnects really quickly...Estimated speed increased but still not the same as 9 hours ago and it looks like my submitted shares are lower than other pools...  Huh

Looks good now...I think the reason why am submitting less shares is because of those short downtimes when I was asleep  Roll Eyes

...

This also happens to me when I was using guiminer in the past. Use the command line alternative rather than the gui because that fixed my problems.

Set it to one core cpu affinity, so it doesn't consume all your cpu usage.
