Re: Is Formal Education Mandatory for every child
by
fullfitlarry
on 26/08/2025, 11:26:54 UTC
Is there a society right now that don't prioritized education for kids? If there is one then it's not a mandatory. But we have learn throughout history that education is very important. It is something that we can give to our children so that they will have a good life.

Whatever the arguments against education though, it just boils down to one factor, it is the only thing that we can partake to our kids sort of inheritance to have them schooled even if we parents didn't have one. And because we don't like our children to be like one of us who don't have formal education and makes our lives very hard to get a decent job because every company is looking for diploma and what you have finished in school.

The Philippines’ Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC PH) has flagged five more cryptocurrency platforms for providing crypto-related services to Filipinos without proper registration or licensing under the country’s new regulatory framework.

It's no secret. He is doing what we already know and that is DCA. The only difference is that he has a deep bag as compare to us average joe investor that might struggle to buy like $100.00 every week to fatten our wallet.

So just go with it, I mean invest what you can afford, and look at the bigger picture and see how everything goes. Have the mental discipline and focus on your goal. Don't worry about the noise in the market, just simply stack sats.

Shamos, new malware that target Mac users to steal our crypto credentials
by
fullfitlarry
on 26/08/2025, 09:16:45 UTC
There is a new infostealer malware in the wild that target Mac devices. So if you are using Mac just like me, you need to read this kind of attacks. Researcher called it Shamos, which is another variant of the Atomic macOS Stealer (AMOS).

The victims are being lured by the cyber criminals into malvertising or fake GitHub repositories that utilize ClickFix. They are under the guise of installing a fix problems or your Mac or update a software.

And this is how it looks like if you go and search it on the Big G

And this is how they steal from our machine;

1. searches for sensitive files like crypto wallets and other personal information.
2. package it into a zip file
3. and submit it to the attackers command and control

This are the following websites that are compromise:

Code:
mac-safer[.]com
rescue-mac[.]com
https[:]//github[.]com/jeryrymoore/Iterm2

https://www.crowdstrike.com/en-us/blog/falcon-prevents-cookie-spider-shamos-delivery-macos/

So again, this is a lesson not to download from unknown sources. Although from time to time, I will search for something if I have a problem on my Mac specially if I'm desperate to solve my issues. But it's obvious not a good strategy as I can potentially downloaded his malware. So everyone should be self-aware.

Pero once approved worth it naman siguro, not now but maybe later on may uupo na talagang magbabago ng landscape ng Pinas. Im rooting for Mangalong or at least Vico Sotto to the top position on the Philippines.

Upon meeting the suspects on August 1, the victim was immediately restrained with handcuffs and threatened with a firearm. He was physically harmed and forced to pay 50,000 USDT in cryptocurrency in exchange for his release.

Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell?
by
fullfitlarry
on 22/08/2025, 23:31:32 UTC
For those who are still waiting for the bearish season to arrive before they can buy bitcoin, I think they should just count themselves out of the people that will buy bitcoin this season. Because a person who really wants to invest in the Bitcoins will not still be waiting for the bearish season to arrive, and they say the earlier is better. What if the bearish season later comes at the wrong moment? How can he do it? He will end up with regrets.
It is very sad and regrettable that in this present time investors are still thinking of investing in bitcoin only when the season is bearish, thinking that it's the right thing to do, so if the bullish Season comes, it's very likely that such investors are going to sell off for minimal gains.

And for example this trader bought at the bearish market and then sells for a gain of 2x in the early bull market thinking that he got a good deal as he profited already. But then as the price goes up throughout the bullish season and then watching painfully as the price continues to go up in 3x, 5x or even 10x from his or her price sale. Then now that person will be face with the dreaded question whether to FOMO and buy back again or waited for a dip that will never come, often buy at the top of the bull market.

Investors with such mindset of bullish and bearish season are more likely to be a trader, trading his bitcoin when the bullish Season comes, but a real investor will only be thinking of accumulating a huge stash of bitcoin regardless of if it's a bullish or a bearish season, because the goal is to accumulate Bitcoin and hold for a very long time, not selling during the bullish Season.

And as what experience told us here, the most successful person here who earn and profited as those who adopted a different mindset, sometimes we call them as diamond hand. Those that accumulate relentlessly, and that holds their core belief, and measure everything and their successes not in fiat and short term gains, but how much sats they accumulated. And they keep on stacking sats, regardless of the USD/BTC exchange rate. And remember that in bear market, Bitcoin is on sale, making accumulation very easy for us.

Silk Road, Bitfinex hack)0.952%
Tsina~190,000 BTC (kumpiskado)Nakumpiska noong PlusToken scam imbestigasyon, 20200.905%

Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tank Davis
by
fullfitlarry
on 22/08/2025, 19:16:23 UTC

Anyway, this is an interesting match, though we all know that Jake is gonna lose, but what if Jake win, do you think this will be a start of Jakes professional boxing career?

I don’t think Jake will want to lose to a little guy; he has fought fighters from welterweight to heavyweight, and he won convincingly in many of these fights.

It’s a big humiliation to lose to small guys when he has weight and size advantages, and it’s also a big humiliation for Gervonta if he loses the fight. Both guys will want to win because they both have a reputation to protect, and if the fight ends in a draw, Gervonta will have the last laugh because he has proven that he can take a cruiserweight; that’s a significant moral and career boost for him.

And he said that Tank Davis has been disrespecting him and so that will be the story board on this fight. But it's obvious that a big bully guy against a small but power little man. So it depends on what angle we see it.

We have seen Manny Pacquiao before, as the great little guy against the biggest of opponents at 147 lbs - 154 lbs and yet he won. Maybe this could be the case here as Gervonta is a professional boxer unlike those that Jake Paul has face before.

On the other hand, Harvard just invested on Bitcoin,

Re: 2025 NBA Season
by

on 21/08/2025, 21:50:05 UTC
For mere there are many GOAT in NBA in different ERA, unless Jordan vs LBJ vs KOBE play ball at the same time on their primes.

There can’t be more than one GOAT, the term itself means “greatest of all time.” Right now I believe the GOAT in the NBA is Michael Jordan. If another one comes in the future, that means Jordan is replaced, not that there’s suddenly two GOATs.

Yeah basing from the title itself, though there are different opinions about it and we as individual we can keep what we believe, as same with you, for me  personally I still believe that Jordan still remain as the Goat of this sport like you mentioned if there's a new one then the title will be handover to such athlete but so far there's none as per my opinion.

We have our own opinions are basketball fans, even MJ himself said that he respects the greatest basketball player before him. Unlike Lebron though who says if I'm not mistaken that he is better specially the feat that he come back from a 1-3 deficit against the Warriors and won in the finals.

But in any case, this is going to be a ongoing debate, even those so called analyst and players have disagree at some point as who is the GOAT. Those who have seen the era of MJ tells it's him, while for those who have followed Lebron or watch him play argues that he is the GOAT.

Re: Common Misconceptions About Bitcoin
by
fullfitlarry
on 21/08/2025, 21:31:17 UTC
How bout the misconception that Bitcoin is not real money?

- it's not physical, so it's not "real"
- it's not back up by government, so it doesn't have any value
- its volatile, so you can't use it to buy
- it's not yet accepted worldwide, yet we can buy things using a 3rd party

So it's more of a perception than actual misconception.

Quote
Clickjacking is an attack that tricks users into thinking they are clicking on one thing when in fact, they are clicking on something else. Essentially, unsuspecting users believe they are using a webpage’s usual user interface when in reality, attackers have imposed a hidden user interface instead. When users click on buttons they think are safe, the hidden user interface performs a different action. This can cause users to inadvertently download malware, provide credentials or sensitive information, visit malicious web pages, transfer money, or purchase products online.

https://www.kaspersky.com/resource-center/definitions/clickjacking

  • 1Password
  • Bitwarden
  • Dashlane
  • Enpass
  • iCloud Passwords
  • Keeper
  • LastPass
  • LogMeOnce
  • NordPass
  • ProtonPass
  • RoboForm

Tinawag nya to na Document Object Model (DOM)-based extension clickjacking.

https://marektoth.com/blog/dom-based-extension-clickjacking/

A security researcher Marek Tóth, has identified that clickjacking is still a dangerous threat for everyone in the online world. Clickjacking as defined by Kaspersky:

The researcher did perform a test on 11 password managers that are used as browser extensions.

  • 1Password
  • Bitwarden
  • Dashlane
  • Enpass
  • iCloud Passwords
  • Keeper
  • LastPass
  • LogMeOnce
  • NordPass
  • ProtonPass
  • RoboForm

The main attack is that if you go on a malicious website and run a script and those websites uses,  opacity settings, overlays, or pointer-event tricks to hide the autofill dropdown menu of a browser-based password manager. Then the cyber criminals will overlays fake elements like cookies and banners and even CAPTCHA. And once we fall on clicking the hidden controls, then they can get our sensitive information.

He also demonstrated that the UI follow the mouse cursor, it doesn't matter where you positioned, it will still trigger data autofills. So with this kind of attacks, criminals can gained access to all stored passwords, credit cards, and personal data (including crypto).

He term it as Document Object Model (DOM)-based extension clickjacking.

https://marektoth.com/blog/dom-based-extension-clickjacking/

And after this exposure, most of the password managers remain vulnerable. And as Mark said, when he reach out to them, they never responded. So this is still very serious flaw on their system and hopefully they are going to be patched soon. For sure most of us might have used one or two of those password manager because we think we are safe with them.

Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell?
by
fullfitlarry
on 20/08/2025, 02:24:56 UTC
There are a lot of folks who continue to be skeptical and scared of bitcoin, which will likely be their loss, and there might not be any real easy way to either convince them and/or to get them to take action to protect their own finances, psychology and likely improve their future options.  Even people who we might try to help, they may start out buying bitcoin, but then screw it up and even put themselves into a worse position because they fail to adequately prepare themselves and to learn about bitcoin and/or to moderate their entrance into bitcoin.

Exactly, as it is very difficult to convince skeptics with regards to Bitcoin. And from what I've learned, Bitcoin doesn't just want us to be technically inclined, as there are words like Blockchain, Bitcoin address, confirmation time, blocks and other technical jargon that might really scared a lot of investors. So Bitcoin doesn't just ask us to learn it's technology, but it teaches us to globally shift our mindset. And so it requires overcoming what has been the norm or status quo for many years. Human by nature resists change, so everyone has been teach to remain in the status quo, even if the current fiat system is flawed. And then the mindset conditioning, we are bias and conditioned to trust  central authorities, central banks and government. And with Bitcoin's decentralization model, it feels risky for the majority. So perhaps the best approach is to stop trying to convince them, but start trying to inform. Our goal should not to get them to buy, but to understand. So by that shift, maybe just maybe we can protect the people we are trying to help from themselves. And with that, patience and wisdom is the key here and that is the only way we can move forward. Just be calm when we are trying to help others, and again, maybe that will be good enough for those who are going to invest in a safe manner.

Re: Phone call bonus offer ng online casino
by

on 20/08/2025, 01:26:09 UTC

Just checking kung in general ba ito.
