Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?
I suppose, yes, it is more risky to buy altcoins that are not it the top 100. You truly have a higher chance to lose your money investing in unfamiliar ICOs. That's why you should be more careful while choosing ICO.

Many altcoins are significantly chained to the price of Bitcoin. It's not very fine but we all have to wait for a huge growth of BTC price to observe a whole market is green.

Re: Do you panic?

As I have noticed these days, when the ICO hasnt finished yet and the sale was still on going, the bounty tokens has already been distributed and also unlocked they sell it immediately on forkdelta or etherdelta for a much lower that ICO price, in which it could greatly disturb the sales in tokens. As for you the investor on that token, would you panic when you see that the tokens you own already selling at much lower price?
I wouldn't be satisfied for sure while watching such price dumping. But I also wouldn't sell all my tokens in a panic. I'd better wait more suitable price in such case.

More and more airdrop is a lie, I do not recommend participation in airdrop, because there are at most a few 100 airdrop quality, so I think it should not be a waste of time.

I'm of the same opinion. There are many scam airdrops and moreover you usually don't get enough tokens to sell them. So I left this activity.

several bounty projects, are now beginning to implement KYC on the distribution of their tokens
when I send my identity card is this safe? could it be misused?
Personally, I do not endorse KYC for bounty distribution. But this is necessary part and you have to do it to get your tokens. Of course, there is no an absolute guarantee that your personal information will not be leaked. But if you really care about it so you shouldn't participate in such bounty campaigns.

Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward?
by

on 16/07/2018, 14:53:57 UTC
Many ICOs have realized that Bounty hunters always sell their coins immediately they give it out to their wallets especially when they are on exchanges. What are the reasons why they sell it out and what should bounty hunters do when they are given the tokens.
Some bounty hunters are not interested in ICOs but only in quick awards. Some of them may probably know that price will not grow. There are also people with urgent financial needs. Anyway, holding is more preferable option for investors than bounty hunters.

There's is always a risk of getting nothing from bounty campaign. That's why you have to scrutinize a bounty before participating it. Bad experience makes you more watchful and knowing.

Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward?
by
g-unit
on 12/07/2018, 15:59:04 UTC
Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?
I basically wait around 1 month for bounty distribution. It's a normal period for distribution of bounty tokens. But I think that 6 months is way too long interim for bounty distribution. Personally, I didn't have such bad experience.

Guys do you think bounty are campaign wastage of time because of we take particiapate in bounty campaign it take 2 to 4 month time the end up and after end the bounty campain it would distribute the token after more 1 to 2 months.
So isn't wastage of time? After taking token you dont know what is the value of token or it is available in exchange or not.
Some bounty campaigns can be a scam projects after all. It will be a great waste of time in this case. That's why you should research and choose your bounty
campaigns carefully to avoid such situations.

Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do?
by
g-unit
on 11/07/2018, 13:43:33 UTC
Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. This will in turn pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. In spite of this, is long term holding a smart thing to do as a bounty hunter and why?
Long-term holding is a good option when you exactly know that your token's price will grow for sure. Some tokens aren't good enough to hold them a long while. They are more suitable for short-term trading in this case.

Hello.

do you think it's a good time to invest in Ethereum?
Well, there's still a good time to buy ETH as its price is quite low and we see that market is recovering slowly. I suppose ETH price will rise very much till the end of this year due to huge growth of BTC and the whole market.

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?
It's obviously that you have chosen bad projects. You should sell them all and invest in Bitcoin or ETH for example. Market researches can be also helpful to find good coins. Anyway, you shouldn't be disappointed in holding. Right investments will give you big profit.

Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency?
by

on 02/05/2018, 12:23:26 UTC
Cryptocurrency investing is always a risk. You can't be exactly sure that some kind of project will be successful. So you need to study the market to find promising projects. You also need to diversify your investments to avoid big losses. Cryptocurrencies are very volatile so you have to be patient to not sell all when market is red.

Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility

While I don't have many posts. I got involved in Bitcoin in 2013 and joined this forum in 2014. While I do not consider myself wealthy from Bitcoin yet. I do have an idea of how I would like to direct some of this new found wealth. I think most of the people who got involved early got involved for the right reasons. IE: To change the world and move humanity out of the control of the bankers. I am concerned that the new people coming may only be in to make money. I hope I am wrong, I really want this technology to be a force of good in the world and deliver economic freedom to the masses and the unbanked. My hope is everyone who was early, has some idea in mind that will help others. Maybe help your family, or a charity that you think isn't wasting money, or building a community swimming pool etc. If you have a lot of money think big and how you can change the world for the better. This is our chance!
Indeed, many people have enough money to help others but not only themselves. I got involved in cryptocurrencies in 2015. My first intention was to earn money to improve my financial situation. Later, I have expanded my interests and started to help my relatives. That was a good decision. So I think that we should help our relatives and friends. It's a good way for significant changes in the world.

Re: Five common mistakes made by Bitcoin users
by
g-unit
on 30/04/2018, 13:57:48 UTC
1. Do not remember electronic wallet password
2. Do not back up your wallet
3. Do not research new services
4. Buy and sell based on feelings
5. Leave your money in the electronic money floor
Mistakes №1,2 and 4 are the most important to remember and fix. You need to watch out for your money and be patient to not lose your investments on panic selling.

Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich
by

This is my opinion.Banks won't make you rich.saving in bank can never do that, because of interest rate that bank gives you is too tiny. You saving will be simply be eaten up by the sleepy monster called inflation. As a example I will take ,When I'm in grade school, each day I received 10Rs (my country currency) from my mother. It was enough to by me 2 meals, but in now 10Rs enough to buy 2 candies.  Lips sealed Banks are just for keep your money safe!  Tongue

Banks are created for profit by their owners. They are not supposed to give a profit to people. It's our interest, not theirs. But they can provide us with different financial services such as deposit and credit.
