Altbitex will become familiar through time it is affiliated with the likes Banx.Yes through time the coin will move to other exchanges but not for the next few weeks Altbitex has been good to the coin.If you have any concerns check its Parent company at www.cryptonex.net

Everybody uses privacy on there domain to stop spam and yes its a new exchange but there parent company and owners are not they are one of the biggest hosting companies out there and they have at least 16 sister exchances

You mean cryptonex.com - cryptonex.net does not exists at all. And If You ask someone for money, You can´t hide and blame it on spam, as there are other ways how to ensure spam won´t hit You. Anyway If You think that someone will trust company hidden by other company which offers domains hidden by proxy, You must be more stupid than I thought descend to level of the other abject scammers... I deeply despise your kind.

Nothing to do with your signature you were one of the devs of it and people lost a fortune and you never even tried with it you just stole there money

I was not the dev of GDC, how can You say that? I just proclaimed that witch my signature and actually lost about 1.75 BTC on that..Never tried? Take a look at

Anyway GDC was (and still is) waaaaaaay more usefull than any altcoin out there.

well lets see your views on why this is a scam and i will answer your questions,then you can answer some of my questions about Gridcoin that you seem to be part of.

Oh sorry, GDC crashed at launch badly (mostly because altcoin scene became ultimate P&D scheme) and I did not have a time nor mood to alter my signature. And it still persists Wink

Well it seems that its still the same crap as year before.. Sorry for Your loses guys, mine was about 1BTC (0.45 for licence and rest on nonsense trades haasbot made, does not count lost profit on unfulfilled trades).

I am sorry you had a bad experience, but Haasbot 2.1 will solve all of the issues and increases the performance of all exchanges by quite a bit. Even users connected to an exchange like cryptsy will notice a nice boost in the trading experience. If you are interested in giving it a shot, shoot me a PM on our forums I will give you access to Haasbot 2.1 beta build 2.

Nice offer, but I don´t want to waste anymore time on this. It seems to me that instead of using it, I "betatested" the version I bought year ago, providing lot of feedback, including screeshots (as can be seen on page 66+ of this thread). No, thanks. I code my own bots which do exactly what I want and when I want.

Hello, I'm a new customer of yours.
I've been testing your bot for one week now and I'm very disappointed with some features.
First of all the low-quality translation of a lot of phrases ("Update availible") and missing description on a lot of indicators, without mentioning the standard text on the safeties. Next, the "fake failing" updater: how can you even say "it's just an aesthetic bug"? Do a proper updater, that's all.
I trade on Kraken and the "Overcome Fee Cost" insurance does NOT work since it does not calculate the fees correctly, please solve this as soon as possible. (Fees are applied on the final sum transferred and change on a per-user basis starting from 0.35%)
Thank you.

Is this normal?

-- CODE CUT OFF

Did You ran BOINC before? I did and had similar issues, only thing that worked for me was to complete wipe out everything, DL again and the set everything with SAME username, SAME pwd and SAME email. Try this and wait several hours, then try it again; Your "list cpids" for every single project should look like this:

...
{
"Project" : "milkyway@home",
"CPID" : "7bcef7dc238dd5af269eb861e9c561c7",
"RAC" : 14318.00000000,
"Team" : "gridcoin",
"Verified RAC" : 14336.00000000,
"Verified Team" : "gridcoin",
"Is my CPID Valid?" : true,
"CPID Link" : "http://boinc.netsoft-online.com/get_user.php?cpid=7bcef7dc238dd5af269eb861e9c561c7",
"Errors" : ""
}
...

EDIT: I ran WCG several years ago so I added WCG as my first project to GRC with previously used user/pwd. Suddenly WCG did miss the part where pwd should contain more than few a-z an 0-9 and denied every attempt to change pwd to anything reasonable (like to quite simple crossroad of machine/human readable "1Gvo-5

I really don't feel like going through the hassle of obtaining BTC to buy old GRC with and then going through the burn process, so I'd like to just buy some new GRC right out. It doesn't look like the exchanges have updated..

WTB 2900 GRC for .1 BTC. filled, thanks!

You may enter in history with this (as the guy who bought pizza for 10k BTC)  Wink

Best Answer Rob Halförd - (Gridcoin), Today, 09:39 PM

Gridcoin Research 3.3.9.5/22.8 - Mandatory Upgrade

- SelectCoinsForStaking only stakes 1/2 of the available coins if you are a researcher;  Investor behavior is unchanged.
- Added Universe@Home mapping.

Client should automatically update itself, at least for me (for the first time)

You can now use your Asic to hash for BitcoinUtopia Boinc project and the BTCUtopia credits will count towards mining Gridcoin!

Gridcoin Research 3.3.8.5/20.8
Mandatory Upgrade

- Transition Block: 130670
- ** FIXED BUG IN calculation of LastPaymentTime causing POR blocks not to be paid **

Earlier Today:
- Modified CPID maximum magnitude range to be 1-2000 (from 80% of MaxBlockSubsidy) - Lederstrumpf algo makes it expoentially harder to reach 2000 after 90% of the mag is reached (starting at 1800 mag)
- Added ability to pay researcher up to 5 blocks per day
- RSA long term owed is now based on Mag*Multiplier*14 with a Maximum POR capped subsidy of MaxBlockSubsidy*14*5 (IE high magnitude CPIDs may earn up to 5 blocks per day to be compensated properly)
- Merged 75% of the cross platform downloadblocks/upgrade into the core
- Added Green POR mined indicator for POR mined blocks/ Yellow means interest blocks  (Old mined POR blocks should now be yellow - this affects future blocks only)

I have both. The address that I posted is from the new wallet.

I was trying to mine on the old one, to earn some coins (which I could then burn). Is there a good place to ask for help getting that to work? Here?

Thanks!

50 GRC sent, it should be enough for start.

Hey gore, nice signature you got there Smiley

I know  Wink

Anyone feeling generous and want to give me a few coins to start with?

I've been trying to mine on the gridcoin classic wallet to get some, but keep getting connection 500 errors to the wallet. Is it still possible to do this?

Edit: my address is: S9Dm7mG2ZXYsr9Hi58KqDg8CRjC6bzsvbf

Are You using Gridcoin research (new) wallet? Old wallet is not supported anymore and all gridcoins have to be converted to Gridcoin research coins via burner (http://pool.gridcoin.us/CoinExchange.aspx). Anyway I´ll send You some coins for start, just make sure You are using new wallet and post right adress.

Well actually I have 75 GRC, on Enigma@home 200 Verified RAC (normal RAC only 13 why ? - this is same for last 3 days but I am always computing), magnitude 0, RSA 0, LRSA 0, BRSA 0, Boinc weight 75...But not mining...It's annoying.
I recently had some problems but its OK now, so maybe I might help You somehow, as You helped me on CCT with Your tutorial. Set this all up is not as easy as start some crappy altcoin wallet, but I believe that most of troubles were caused with recent network issues. Network is fine now, so everything should go smoothly.

I'm trying to wrap my brain around the social-cultural implications of this... is it like a hugely complex game of monopoly played with might-be-valuable someday money (monero) with RP starting with all the properties (justifies since he is footing the bill for the game mechanics)?

More like RP is creating his own world to which he will transfer himself someday:) Anyway its awesome idea and I am looking forward for some fancy web interface
