I have a MSI RX 580 8G V1 8GB
and whenever I start mining it reaches 90c without barely even changing the fan speed and it begins to throttle and mining speed reaches 24-25mh mining eth
how do i fix all this?

you can try to enable compute mode in registry

does this work for all gpu's?
I'm only mining at 15mh on eth on my gpu that normally mines at 30. I put it in another pc and this has happened. I believe all that is wrong with it is that I can't go into compute mode on it. I click on compute, hit apply, the app restarts and nothing has changed. What do i do?

The AMD blockchain drivers work with the Windows 10 v1709 Fall Creator's Update, but cause the UI to become unresponsive. I switched back to using the blockchain drivers with Windows 10 v1703 and they work fine. You can also try the latest Crimson Relive v17.1x.x drivers that are compatible with the Windows 10 FCU and toggle each GPU to 'compute' mode from 'gaming' in AMD settings. The latest drivers apply the blockchain driver Dag fix when in compute mode, but I switched back to using the blockchain driver with v1703 because Afterburner won't work with the latest Crimson Relive drivers .

XFX cards are wierd to do a Bios mod on. BBT has a Bios for your card in the description of the live stream he did on those cards.

I tried to mod my bios by using timings from this one bios that people are supposedly getting 29.5 on and I'm just getting 22 on it when I copied the timings and upp'd the memory speed to 2100
I followed this guide and idk what I did wrong? I thought if it booted and ran without crashing it should be getting the same hash rates

Any, all are 3 yr warranty. The xfx has a rebate but the fans might suck. Also you can buy 5 of the xfx. I am a asus fan boy and I have had good luck with their fans. Honestly all are pretty much +/-1% equal in performance. Fan life, memory type and cooler design are the variables here. I'm too lazy to look all of that up to help you.

are the 570 even reach the same speed as 580? are they even future proof at 4gb?
I'd buy Nvidia cards instead, but thats just me. More efficient, better coins to mine with better futures.
