If the (Altcoin) part of the "Tokens" board would be removed from the name, I think it would be much more fitting for 90% of the things that are happening with smart contracts. Altcoin is a legacy term, but the difference between tokens and currencies is clearly accepted within the community (and on this forum).

Of course, but ETH does not stand on it's own here. Almost every ICO passes the Howey Test if you follow the logic of Gensler in that video.

I do not disagree, but I don't think ETH realistic to think that regulators will make a move on the foundation or ETH exchange listings, whatever happens, the rules are updated after it happened.

Awesome! I really like this kind of project, it really brings me back to the early days of this message board. The greatest innovations in DLT didn't happen because billions are spent on R&D, they happened when this was a hacker's community.

I think a couple of simple deployment methods would be beneficial for some other tinkerers to play with your project. Maybe start a discord community for those who'd like to help out? I'd join.

Exactly! Community doesn't come with a forum post. It doesn't come automatically. Memes are not announced, they are a result of a community effort.

Maybe I'm the only one.. But I really dislike these threads that are just screenshots of a website. It's not user friendly and the forum has lots of ways to format a nice forum post.

Also, the OP has negative trust on the forum, which results in a huge red warning banner in the top of the page. Some background information about this might help putting this into perspective for readers.

I'd also be interested to read more about the mining algorithm. I guess that it's the main conviction of the developers, so this might really help the visitors of this thread recognise the value of the project.

I'll check out the paper shortly. But I really recommend publishing team information on the website (and bitcointalk post). A hockeystick graph should by backed up with somebody who is accountable for that prediction.

Very interesting idea. I can see the value in the vision of a decentralised ecosystem when for 1) translators and 2) language preservation and accessibility. I would, however, be keen to see a more detailed explanation about the economics of the system. Maybe a ELI5 type explanation and a flow-of-funds example?

It seems the developer spends a lot of time to genuinely develop something here. And it even seems people are actively mining. It might help a lot if the developer shares their vision in this thread.

You state this action by VB was inconsiderate. But what was the initial reason to choose his address without consent? It seems like a very strange choice to send money to somebody and assume a contract where they handle administration, security and taxation for you, again, without consent.

Is there an ETA on more info about the options for developers? A project like this starts with dev tools IMHO..
