I think we don't have any other options left beside hold or sell your tokens/coins right now, for me, i choose to hold more maybe until the end of the year. We still have 4 months left and i hope the crypto market recovery. I know it's hard when we seeing the market condition right now, but i think hold is the better option for now.

Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto
by

on 19/09/2018, 09:45:49 UTC
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

I am still focus on my main job because i can not rely my life in short time with cryptocurrency. I think cryptocurrency is my side job and not take much time. Cryptocurrency need more time to give us big profits

Of course you need to focus your main job first, it's like your safety zone there. Your main job first then after its finish you can do the crypto things. Luckly I never get that experience, I always manage my time and finish my job first then when I have free time I continue on crypto.

Re: What kind of magic is this?
by

on 19/09/2018, 05:38:01 UTC
I've been monitoring the market for a couple of months now. Most of the coin value rely on the price of Bitcoin. If the BTC price goes up, every altcoins will follow and if it will goes down, the price of every altcoins will goes down as well. But the question is, Bitcoin price/value is still going up but the price/value of every altcoins especially Ethereum goes down. How did this happen? Any logical or scientific basis to explain this. As of now, I am still confuse.  Huh

It's not magic, it's normal happened. Everytime the bitcoin price increase, other altcoins like ethereum, BCH and many alts will go up too. It's always like this since the market crash in the early 2018. I think it's because of bitcoin is the biggest cryptocurrency and bitcoin market is the biggest too.

Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do?
by

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

It's better to find out first why that coin increased to 40% - 200% in just 1 night, if something really big and good happened, it's better to hold it more because maybe the price can increase more but if it's just because of a gossip, just sell it and buyback again when the price go down. The thing is find the information first.

Re: Should I stay away from this market?

At the moment, the crypto currency market is very unpredictable. Yesterday there was growth, but today I see a strong fall. This market can be very dangerous for beginners.

Now the market is getting better and we have seen some rise have begun which is a good news for the investors who had purchased the token and bought some time back. As the market has started to pick the momentum we will see some money making opportunity to exists.

Yeah it's start recovering in the last weeks but we never know is it a recovery or not. I'm afraid the crypto market will fall again later, but still it's a good sign though, the market increase. My advice to OP is, the price right now is already good, if you want to play safe, just sell all your coins right now but if you still want more, hold your tokens and pray the price will increase again.

Re: HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN CRYPTO
by
gameofthronne
on 27/08/2018, 03:54:52 UTC
Apart from airdrops and bounties, and trading or mining. What other ways can one make money in crypto space?  I really like to know maybe one can explore it.

People here usually joining bounty like signature campaign, twitter and facebook campaign, become a translator, make an article and many else you can do to make money in crypto. Just go to bounties section and you will find many ways to get tokens and of course you can sell it into money.

Re: KuCoin vs Binance

Both are good actually but I prefer binance for now, because the volume of trading in binance is really big and volume on kucoin is really small. Kucoin is also good though, easy to trade, fast deposit and withdrawal too but the minus is the volume is quiet low but i think Kucoin can become big in the future.

Re: ICOs are too expensive
by
gameofthronne
on 24/08/2018, 04:40:21 UTC
Here is something I have observed as regard ICOs raising funds and why many are trading at below ICO price soon after listing on exchanges. The reason could well be the fact that project teams are making ICO tokens too expensive, almost at same level with what we had at the bullish market.Meanwhile, the market is now 25% of its usually market.
Project teams implement better funds management strategies, avoid wastages and unnecessary  expense and thus have a cheaper ICO, I personally believe that they can reduce their expense by at least 50 percent and thus ask for less, cheaper tokens as such, that way, investors will be better make returns on their investments.
The price of the ICO tokens after listing on exchanges is below the ICO price because there are many bounty hunters dump their token after they received the tokens from bounty, it makes the price fall. After 2-3 months, the price will be back to ICO price IF the project make a new or big update about the project.

Re: So many Bounties-Which one is trusted?
by
gameofthronne
on 21/08/2018, 07:33:07 UTC
I think the trusted bounty is when they have good management about the weekly report, when they always routine review the report and show the report, I think they have good management, so it always gives me trust to them.
Weekly report is a good one, it means the team is really serious about the project and always update the investor about the project report. To choose a good and trusted bounties, you can check by how many ETHs collected on the ICO. Good project usually have a good result on ICO.

I usually use bitcointalk as the main forum and i also use the new one Icoforums.net, it's a good one to talk about crypto community there. I also joined some telegram group to talk about crypto, crypto market, altcoins, ICOs, bounty and many else on that telegram group.

Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors?
by
gameofthronne
on 20/08/2018, 03:26:11 UTC
Nah, bounty hunter also do their job to get free tokens and i think most of them are not become ICO investors. Maybe only like 1-10% of the total boutny hunters also become ico investor but most of them are only for money. There are so many bounty hunters right now and they are join bounty because they can earn money not for become investor.

Re: Where do i sell my altcoins?
by
gameofthronne
on 19/08/2018, 06:57:25 UTC
Hello guys i got really lucky and some of my altcoins received from airdrops have gained value.I want to sell it at its market price.Where can i sell it at its best price?
Also i am confused as to hold or sell the coins. The coins which i possess are at its initial stages so will its value increase with time or should i sell it now.Two of the coins are REBL and EQL.
Go check it on coinmarketcap and check the token that you want to sell, usually it will show which market that sell/buy the tokens. If no information about it, that means the token is not on exchange yet. You can check on decentralized exchange like idex and forkdelta too.

Re: Altcoin is for day trading
by
gameofthronne
on 19/08/2018, 04:59:41 UTC
Not all of altcoin is for day trading. Like an altcoin that still fresh after the ICO finished and get listed on an exchange, usually the price that token will go down and it's not good for day trading, but it's good for long term trading because if you stored the tokens until the roadmap finish, the price will go up.

Of course it is, not all ICOs is scam. I know there are some ICOs that scam but not all of them are scam. I know some legit ICO and good ICO too out there. Some ICO scam but it's not means all of ICO is scam too. The thing is there are so many ICOs out there and we needs to smart before chose an ico.

Re: Many projects are dead?
by
gameofthronne
on 17/08/2018, 13:30:35 UTC

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

That's why before invest on ICO you must find information about the project, the team, whitepaper, also the hype for the project. If the project is really good, their presale/private sale will sold out in a second. Luckly i never experience the scam on ICO.

Re: How to earn altcoin every days?

on 17/08/2018, 11:49:21 UTC
There are many ways people earning in altcoin in regular basis. What is your methods for earning in altcoin?

Trading?
Airdrop?
Bounty?
Others?

My methods are joining bounties, joining airdrops and also trading. Actually all that is very common in this forum to earn altcoins, not everyday but at least everymonths or every bounty. I also earn altcoins on masternode, it's cost so much money on the start but you can get passive income everyday.

Re: Can altcoin topple Bitcoin?
by
gameofthronne
on 16/08/2018, 05:15:07 UTC
The value of altcoins are determined by the value of Bitcoin. Do you think one day altcoins can break free from the Bitcoin strong hold?
It might possible but not for now and for the next 5 years i think, because bitcoin is still the most popular cryptocurrency and also has the biggest price too for a coin. If bitcoin still has a big price like right now, no altcoin can toople or replace bitcoin.

by

on 16/08/2018, 03:52:58 UTC
the huge amounts of new ICOS that arise every month could be hurting the price of bitcoin? you who think about the ICO?

Nope, the amount of new ICOs is not affect the price of bitcoin. ICO is ICO, it will not affect the bitcoin price, even if the ICOs thing is dead, it will not affect the bitcoin price too. Otherwise, bitcoin is the one that will affect the ICOs. If bitcoin price fall, altcoins like ETH will fall too and it will affect the ICO.
